- The plaintiff says the defendant is her little sister, who she claims try to attack her and then vandalized her car, so she’s suing her sibling. The defendant says she was arguing with her boyfriend and her sister stepped in, so they also began fighting. She claims her older sister maced her even though she was seven months pregnant, so she’s countersuing for emotional distress.

Judge Mathis, cut it out. You know damn well what the plaintiff was talking about in the beginning. 🙄 That lady has every right to be frustrated by her sister constantly complaining about a situation but then constantly returning to the very same situation.
He did that to get the violent sister who has violent boyfriends to side with him and reveal her true nature and it worked. Her 'poor little me' helpless game vanished quickly. She then had to admit, she committed the crime (stabbing the tires) which she artlessly blamed on her other 'girlfriend' (which is a lie).
My sister did me that same way, until one day her bf beat her so bad it made me cry and fight with him. Her bf was incarcerated for the incident and she was visiting and putting money on his books, I said NEVER again. She’s 50 and still going though mess with theses “thugs” 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

The plaintiff was completely correct. I learned the hard way myself. You have to let people live their lives and do what they do and pray for them in the meantime. Don't let people use you then turn on you when they don't need you.

Her sister who dates criminals ended up 'taking revenge' and stabbing her tires. THIS IS ILLEGAL. So the plaintiff won due to that fact. The sister with her thug is probably going to now attack the plaintiff and punish her for using the law. I lived in the ghetto and know very well, the vengeful way of operating there.

Sometimes JM says some crazy stuff! In no way should she keep supporting her sister through an abusive relationship. They could both end up dead.
I disagree with JM, if your friend or relative constantly involve you in their abuse relationship and they return to the abuse, please stay away from the situation until the person is ready to leave the abuser. Also, call the police before going to intervene in an abusive situation.

Judge Mathis might be old school with his viewpoints and moral standing a lot of the time, but his opinion on this is just ridiculous. The plaintiff was clearly saying that each time the defendant has issues in her relationships or makes a foolish mistake she runs to her big sister (the plaintiff) and expects her to fix everything, which drags the plaintiff away from her own life, and that time fixing everything is then replayed each time by an ungrateful little sister who the next day jumps back into the same toxic relationships and the cycle starts over.
Realistically the plaintiff needs to cut her sister's dependency on her off. The next time her younger sister comes crying because her boyfriend has cheated on her, or called her names, or stolen from her, she needs to make it very clear that unless that man physically or sexually assaults her, she wants nothing to do with whatever is going on, because she knows her little sister will go back to him at the end of the day. Not because she's "in love" but because she's addicted to the drama. There's always something going on if you date a career criminal, and that drama can become addictive for some.
