- Indomie is one of Indonesia’s most beloved cultural exports. But what happens when you use mie goreng to make burgers and chocolate bars? Indonesian icon NIKI has been an Indomie purist since day one, but today she’s teaming up with BuzzFeed’s Inga Lam in the hopes of broadening her stir-fried noodle horizons. Together, NIKI and Ingra run through a few of their favorite ways to trick out a pack of instant noodles. Which mie goreng metamorphosis is NIKI's favorite? True, it's all back to preferences. I tried a couple of Mie Sedaap before but didn't quiet as like it as Indomie. Overcooked (kinda lembek) Indomie Ayam Bawang with half or full cooked egg, less kuah, and some cabai rawit (or Bon Cabai for substitution), is just the most perfect Indomie in my own opinion.
