If he runs his own charity, you'd think he'd do fundraising videos basically every time he uploads. You only have to mention what the charity is at some point and there's a donate button. That's all there is to it (google says). But no, he thinks specific YTers should be writing him checks to take care of things. In other words, "all the work" he's put into fundraising is casually mentioning his charity to YTers he thinks are rich. Woot. And his website doesn't work either? Does he want people to venmo him? Totally unprofessional. He seems to pick charity recipients on a whim, or first-come-first-serve basis as well. His 'charity' appears to be run out of the trunk of his car, so to speak. He's not trustworthy as a charity, he's not serious enough. Whining and threatening unnamed YTers, a non-operational website, and the lack of actual effort on his part makes the whole thing look like a scam, whether it is or not. I wouldn't give him money. His whining that he doesn't have enough money for himself doesn't inspire any confidence either. He needs to get himself financially comfortable and *then* get his charity's ducks in a row if he truly wants the charity to work out because as things stand he shouldn't be trying to run one at all.

While I wouldn't exactly jump to 'make a video blackmailing' I know that unexpected illness flare ups can make people (myself included) irritable and make it harder to deal with emotions. This combined with the fact that anger is one of the few emotions that isn't considered delegitimising when men express it openly also tends to see men convert vulnerability into anger. So yeah, if he was already anxious about his charity, I can absolutely imagine a level of pain or illness that would press someone to lash out stupidly at the people around them. It's why it's often a terrible idea to film when you're ill (at least without taking a break afterwards to look at it, or getting someone else to sense check your stuff). In the whole, yeah it's a bad look and I agree with most of your points here. I just wanted to pick up on this one, because I don't think people really appreciate how much chronic illness can be destabilising, and then there's very little sympathy for less-than-perfect coping strategies or reactions people have to it, if it doesn't fit the idealised 'sick role'. It obviously doesn't make grievance call-outs okay, but the 'level of pain where I'd blackmail my friends' bit rubbed me the wrong way because, yeah I could imagine a level of pain where I might divert into getting angry and ranting about unrrelated things, and I don't even have a frequent pain condition.
