Yeah, i am not star craft 2 player but if he knew perfectly well he is going to make ultras why didnt he do anything to counter it but complain? I am not buying argument that pros do not know how "broken" this tactic is, many of them are smurfing or playing in lower elo so they know those tactics perfectly well, but there is most likely some way to counter it he just do not know about. I ve seen many videos of him, and he does have knowledge but he seems to be easly put off by faints and other mind games, in star craft 2 ive seen pros delaying some pushes or builds on purpose to make opponent think they are going for something else or to off put people in some way, when this is happening to artosis he just starts raging that his opponent is so bad he fails to use build in normal way (wchich is sometime true) when in reality he is getting juked and isnt able to adapt to something he does not expects or do not leave enough place for adaptation in his plans i think.
5:50 there's a galaxy brain strat that makes it so you don't auto lose the game to a massive attack wave. Seige your tanks and don't push against other seige tanks. You have BCs. Use them on the tanks
SojiWoonG smacks RT’s cheeks whenever they play. He’s actually a very skilled player by the looks of it.. but RT’s ego won’t let him admit someone’s better then him 🤦♂️
I would like to have seen RT switch to Battlecruisers vs the zerg with ultras/sunkens. Use the sci vessels to Dmatrix the BBC's to help with scourge and just kill the spire. GG if you can kill the spire.
I understand artosis, but my rage is from brawlhalla. People who clearly suck and don't know any controls can still win by spamming abilities and relying on me accidently running into their attack because I haven't trained to counter something that isn't logical for the opponent to be doing But I guess that just means they are better than me according to some
@@vOddy75 Indeed. In fighting games, for instance, you can reliably beat people who flail around randomly by disengaging and spamming fireballs. They'll die by trying to close the distance or to chip damage, often both. The problem with bad habits, however, is that ditching them initially makes you play WORSE. If it didn't, they wouldn't be "habits" and you wouldn't get stuck in them. They're the local maxima; you have to unlearn them and practice playing properly, failing a lot along the way, otherwise you'll never get better.
Day9 has some good just starting out videos. But they're a bit outdated but they still can give you a general idea. otherwise jinjin5000 has translated more modern build orders from some korean pros. “I worked my ass off” -that’s his problem in a nutshell. He thinks the answer to crazy Zerg is to keep using the same unit comp “but do it harder” lollll. He refuses to evolve with the meta and actually attacks anyone who does as “not playing the game right”. As if macro’ing harder with a mismatched unit comp is going to fix it
Currently everyone is losing to Crazy Zerg, it's not really a case of just changing unit comps up. Because currently no Terran pros have an answer to it, they're all trying things but it's not really working right now.
@@ArtosisClips I’m a noob so this might be a dumb question, but it seems like Crazy Zerg requires the Zerg to turtle so much that they can never bust you until they get to late game. The most they can do is some muta harass. So why not tech up to BCs?
@@Mushroom1882 fully upgraded BCs can 1 shot scourge though? And dark swarm already makes the ultras/lings invincible to every Terran ground unit except firebats and tanks, so how are you any worse off with BCs, at least the BCs can’t be wrecked by the ultras and can fly over the sunkens to destroy Zerg production. I hear your point that going bc would take so long that the Zerg gets to defiler, but with Crazy Zerg that’s already happening anyway cuz the sunks are shutting down the early game M+M
@@ArtosisClips Couldn't you stay bio but do a minimum tech investment to vulture mines? Mines would work under dark swarm, could be used as a back-line drop when all the zerg's focus is the front door to drop like a reaver into mineral line, a chain of them would likely delete or heavily wound an ultra, just have to either D-matrix it on drop or avoid being mine-dragged into your bio bubble, and vultures only cost minerals so gas investment is minimal beyond the startup cost of factory + Mshop
Is it viable for the terran against crazy zerg, focus more on macro, another Main+natural (4 bases) and start making tanks on the second main, until you change full mech?
Battlecruisers are fairly expensive and take a while to build. By the time you can get them in fairly effective numbers the zerg player will typically have built a defiler or two. Said defilers can cast an ability called dark swarm that blocks any ranged damage to units under the cloud, rendering the battlecruisers attacks useless. The defilers can also use an ability called plague, which deals damage over time to any unit hit by it in an area. Air units like battlecruisers don't have much of a collision hitbox, so they will stack on top of each-other. This means one defiler can hit every single battlecruiser sometimes and knock them down by about half their health. In effect engaging a crazy zerg player head on with battlecruisers as our ever turtling and inflexible Artosis typically does results in them dealing no damage and getting significantly damaged or destroyed by plague. A player who had some tactical flexibility would probably use Battlecruisers to flank behind the zerg army and damage their base while the zerg wale on their siege tank line, but even this is fairly difficult to do as crazy zerg players will typically heavily buff the armor of their army before committing to an attack. Also the zerg player can just build scourges which can kill the battlecruisers at half the cost in about a quarter of the build time.
He needs to accept he is an better than average A rank player. He can not evolve with the meta and is just not flexible to make it to high S rank. That is why his go to excuse is always to call the other player bad or say I knew what he was gonna do yet I still played the loosing strategy into it but they are the bad players.
He's been S rank pretty consistently the past couple months, the meta just changed recently to one that Terran players don't have the answer for right now. No Terran pros are really able to deal with Crazy Zerg at the moment as a strategy.

Artosis, have you ever played Starcraft Burning Ground? It's awesome MOD for Starcraft Broodwar because most of the units were taken from Starcraft II, and I'm sure if you're going much frustrated when playing it for the first time because the AI so cheap. They even could train Elite Units which normally human player can't xD
Hey Arty, since you play terran have you tried building a platform in the air and build there? Ultra's probably can't reach that, unless they patch the game and give them wings. Irradiating ultras vs marines makes as much sense as casting dark swarm over hydras vs zealots
Better than emping the ultras

No. You should still use irradiate.
what do you reccomend

In a battle I would use defense matrix vs Ultra, outside battle (when he runs away or to bait him) irradiate is good idea..
i think the units are actually programmed to troll artosis
