I shall subscribe for two reasons. One, you sound like Phil Harding from Time Team which is one of my favorite shows - even being an American. Two, RUclips finally got a recommended channel correct and this is the type of content that I gravitate toward.
Hi Adam, Do you think you could stop putting the wind 💨 up us lol, Great video me old friend you just keep them coming, And you take care of yourself and stay safe and well.🛠️🔩🛠️⭐️⭐️👍👍
That pump looks challenging and will make some interesting videos. That little briggs is identical to the one i bought. 1971it was made , so far ive determined no spark but it does spin on the battery like u suggested . They are seriously heavy tho !!
Hopefully should seal but if not you could always weld it to it all be it difficult considering its cast, i should think she'll be fine, good job, cant wait to see that historical pump all restored
I can't say much about the pump - Because I ain't got a clue! But, that generator? A curious combination..... Almost certainly an Onan generator end, mated to a Briggs and Stratton engine. I have an Onan generator right here, which looks just like yours, but with an Onan engine to power it. On first sight, I thought it was a P&O generator (got one of those too) until I could see the NDE of the gen-end, and the expanded metal dome. Should make a decent little generating set.
Get a BSP socket with parallel threads it should screw right in. Alternative get someone with a tap to clean out the threads in the elbow. If you lived closer I could do it for you.
Can anyone recommend a source for reasonably priced fuel hose and decent quality, well priced jubilee clips in small sizes? Im coming back to ol blighty for a visit soon and want to stock up. Say 5m of a range of sizes 4mm up to 12mm hose and a range of jubilee clips from as small as possible up to say 30mm, and probably 100 of each of the sizes. Where i live they're bloody expensive. Last trip i found bags of 20 jubilee clips in The Range for about a fiver and they were the decent ones, not the stupid perforated ones where the thread rips out as soon as you do them up or try to undo them! 304 stainless too!! Any East Anglia sources welcomed! Or online sources, links suggestions! Ta!
That cutout deffo not original rocking someone’s done that to improve the exhaust flow as they added the exhaust angled pipe would have probably gone straight out the Side on the boat
@@NorfolkMancave ye man nice little engine tho that pump should be pretty easy was deffo made to last pop soem warm diesel under those caps she will prob free up lol
That’s such a sweet little Stuart turner engine. As for the pump that’s definitely a winter project. (There you go ) we can fix it😀

Well thanks you very much good man. Hi from the UK 😀😀.
Lovely engin and water pump nice see them running turning
Pump will clean up lovely great old piece of kit you gotta try to get it up and running again ,needs to saved .
Brilliant film as always. Ideal for a DC generatior battery charging for example.
Have a word with Panks in Norwich as there is a good chance that they were the ones who installed that pump and they may still have records for it.

Put the pump in a kiddy pool full of vinegar til new years, lol. That brake looks to be the float cut-off for when the water tank topped off
Hi, I like all these small old engines especially diesels.
I like a small engine aswell. Good fun.

How carbon packed is that muffler? Great Vid.

Climax No1 water pump possibly
She's a heavy old lump.

Maybe cutoff a couple of threads and it will screw in farther maybe past the break. Hopefully you can save the manifold
All back in now. Will go for a start when rain goes. Don't want to start that inside 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would have welded the end of that pipe, and then cut some new threads. That pump needs some serious sand blasting!

Any motor factors or engineers merchant should be able to help you.
looks like a Blake water pump.
I got one 1 propane powered generator
Ow very nice indeed. 👌
Yeah that manifold has been overtightened or dropped
Could have been.
@@NorfolkMancave I used to have one. And mine was complete and not cracked.

Yeah I did wonder. The cut do look man made. Must have been a reason.

Think that pulley with the brake band came from a dumb bell waiter
It's a beasty thing. The chap said it was in the pump house tho. Who knows.
Good Fart Man!!
Well done I say. 🤣🤣🤣
Just more exhaust emissions 💨 😂
Deffinatly a dumb waiter , well done Wendy Cooper
