Joey, I think you have out done yourself this time! Don’t tell me the “crazy spiral staircase “is going to be better than this. Good to see your joiner is back working to. Thanks from Adelaide.
At first I thought - considering the amount of work - that I would order this door just out of solid timber and how stupid it would be to veneer such a piece. But at the end with the black handles I realised that I am the stupid one. What a well thought of beauty of a door. Well done! And thank you for showing! Regards, Etna.
Really pretty set of doors, great work. I'll have to remember this if I ever get around to building my own. I'd want to laminate a foam core for a bit of insulation, but that veneer design is awesome
I've been excited to see these since hearing about them on Shopstool. Brilliant as the doors are my favourite part was the 2-sided finishing jig... that was super cool and practical. Top stuff. I don't watch a lot of 'professional' makers because skills like those on display here remind me of what hacks most of us really are 😁
Thank you for sharing your process in such detail! I'm veneering with walnut on an oak stave door blank very soon. It's also an exterior door. I'm curious why you used PVA cold press glue instead of epoxy.
symmetrical front door leaves look good, but are not good to use because the main leaf must be at least 80 cm wide. This is a fact known to all manufacturers.
Hy Joey, how often do you use your miter saw? As I see the quality level of your machines, maybe 'Graule' might be an interesting manufacturer to check out! They can also be upgraded to a cnc miter saw. It brings your miter cuts from the level of a job site miter saw to that of a real stationary miter saw.
Dear Sir , I have came across your web pages today and your Joinery skills are second to none , I am looking forward to see more of your Brilliant works Thank you for sharing your Expertise , your piece de resistance was for me the veneer pattern for the front door . Cheers from down under
Outstanding craftsmanship as always! Great video and dialog explaining your process. I always pick up a few tips, not that I can accomplish them but good to know. :^). Thanks for posting
The stair frame in the background brought back some good and bad memories of making up stringers for the treads/risers..... fifty odd years ago now.....
So Glad to see you back (as we say in the States) Brother! If you continue to do trim and speciality pieces you will never be out of work! Just a talented Carpenter! God Bless!
Great vid Mr.J looking forward to your stairs having done a couple of helical stairs all I can say is you will finish ( a lot longer than you guessed) and don't forget to breath lol! Btw my brother is a painter and a good tip I got from him while needing lots of tape was to tear off ten or fifteen pcs and just tab em onto your shirt works a charm and doest leave that funky taste in your mouth.
Oh by the way in honor of your extreme talent I named my business “Kings Table”. There is a story behind the name! But I do not want to take up your time! Hammer & Saw on Brother!
That's a fantastic job on building a installing that door. People doesn't understand the skills and the time it takes to do such a fantastic door for the right price. 👍👍👍
No the frame was made 3mm to wide for the wall. When measured the cladding and plaster board was not in place. For some reason the plaster board was being held off the framing towards the top of the door. I made the difference in levels disappear to the eye.
What a treat, thanks Joey. The thought, (plus blood, sweat and ?tears) has produced a magnificent looking set of entry doors and the video is one of your best with a smorgasbord of ideas and tips. Cheers, David
Wicket shop work, superb detail. By the way, to an old man . . . in regards to the table saw . . . "I know what I'm doing" . . . famous last words. Cheers.
Dear Sir Kindly know that youtube didn't push email notification when someone uploaded new vlog....so I didn't receive email from you for this vlog and for all my subscribers including you as well. I have to go to RUclips to see new uploaded videos not from email. This problem since maybe more than 2 months ago. Do you know what is the problem? Or it is from RUclips. Best regards. Marwan
I like at the very end where the guy points at a hole in the non-fixtured door and you point at the vertical bar on the completed door. I could hear that whole conversation play out in my head.

This is so much more than a door. You've created a piece of art that will be a focal point of the house for the next 100 years.

Loved watching the whole process; great work and a beautiful addition to that home...cheers...rr Normandy, Fra.
Hi Joel, was wondering where you bought the vacuum press bag from?
That is gorgeous Joey! Thank you for sharing your talents in design and execution!
I love how you used bookmatched pieces where the doors meet in the middle. nice touch.
Did you purchase the black handle online? I am looking for a similar handle for a door that I am building. Thanks
Nice work Joey

Please can you let me know where i can get that auto rubber gaskit your are using on the botton edge of your door. Thank you.
Hi. Well done, but the finishing isn't properly done
As always a perfect and well executed project. Truly enjoy this channel.
It’s wonderful to watch a master tradesman at his craft. That door is a piece of usable art built to enjoy for many years.
Great work Joey, as always you are a true craftsman.
I've never seen that method of applying finish before, it looks fun! :D
Do you have to use a certain type of rubber/plastic glove?
What was the curing temperature used in the vacuum bag?
I certainly learnt a lot from you Sir; bless you and family at this troubled time.🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
Nick work Joey. That chevron pattern was a real time intensive element of the project. In the end end, it was well worth it. Beautiful!
Thanks Guy, was all a bit nerve wracking until it came out of the vac bag.
А теперь по-русски что и как делать, какие размеры и какие материалы используешь?
Welcome back Mate, missed your videos. Excellent job. What hold down clamps are at the 1:25min mark?

Can someone help me plz? Where can I get those "stop blocks" for the table saw from? Maybe they are called something else 🥴
