You should have the sine modulation enabled, that is one of the best features on BLheli32. I compared this setting on/off with a thrust stand and it greatly improves low speed efficiency and to some degree smoothness/noise. It sacrifices a little bit of top end power but that should not be noticable on a crawler.
Thank you for testing this and sharing! I think there is technology out today that hasn't been implemented widely into crawlers yet and this is part of it! I'd love to see this tested using the $20 ST electronics drone ESC with FOC (Field oriented control). I'm thinking FOC could bring another layer of precise control to low end.
Great! On my shopping list 👍 Outrunners are Jeep 4.0 of the electric motors. It was the ESC that was not there for surface transmitters. The existing ones just needed the right firmware tune!
great vid! had it running on a 1/28 scale rc.. do you think its possible to reconfigure the reverse function into brakes instead? maybe thru the TX parameters or some in the blheli suite?
I did the same exact thing a month or so ago with the same esc. Thanks for for showing the settings and what they do. I used a usb dongle to program but I like the beta flight option because you could also use the chrome addon to program it. My esc overheated and wouldn’t work after a comp but worked well til it didn’t. I will have to get another one and try it again with a heatsink this time.
I got 2 of the esc's and out of the box they are very very quiet compared to my Castle gear. The flight controller burnt up after about 10 minutes and is now in my bin of expensive paperweights. I used my Arduino Uno for the programing and it worked perfectly. I didn't do enough homework prior to ordering to know i could use the Uno I already had. Now Just need to throw them in my truck and try them out. Thanks for the vid.
This is pretty cool. Supposed to be receiving my crawlmaster mini v2 in today. Mainly just want my revolver classic to not sound like a space ship when we go trail running lol
It slow speeds 0 timing is more efficient and more torque. Also you should have that sine wave on in the BL 32 it's smoother more powerful in the lower RPMs
I would think motor timing on a crawler would just make it run hot and lower run time (well if it's stuck at 1 timing). I know some ESC programming that ramp-up timing with the rpm. This is OP on high turn motors (they ban it in some spec/stock racing) you're able to run zero timing and make a ton more torque (more than a mod motor which is normal)... the real advantage/problem was high turn motor doesn't run hot and they could advance timing super high (in high rpm). For this on many tracks (especially tight tracks that need torque and speed) the stock class is just as fast as mods if they had mixed timing in the ESC.
Hey Furadi, I’m an old guy, who doesn’t really work well with computers, and programming of esc’s. I am assuming you might know some people who run the hobbywing fusion in the CC-V1 kit. Are you aware of any issues, other than the weight of that motor?? I just like the simplicity of the that motor, and program card. All 3 of mine run great, for me. One of mine is actually in a Brazin ATL V2 chassis/with TRX4 tranny conversion skid, and TRX$ portals, and I love it. The motor in this video, on this rig, seems pretty big, and heavy, probably close to a fusion motor in weight. Got any advice, or some experience, on the fusion/with the CC-V1??
@@Furadi Thank you sir for responding. I am not a facebook user, have not wanted to deal with non rc drama, (or any drama), but unfortunately I might have to join just for rc crawler info. I’m am seriously attracted to the CC-V1 just for the simplicity of using a fusion. I did however wanted to do an ultimate cheater capra 4 link set up, (like 13”+ wheelbase), but CC-V1 is 3 link. It’s very tempting though. You make them look bad ass!! 🙏 Thank you. Keep up the good work
@@zanthor have you used the hobbywing one for their esc's? it's a few buttons, just plug into your esc and mash buttons. much simpler than a PC or phone app where you also have to worry about buying a flight controller or usb/ serial converter to interface with USB, then needing the right drivers, and having the app itself. no thanks! I'd much prefer the simple programming card all the way !

Overheated? What voltage and KV were you running?

Can you do a video showing the front axle movement. It seems like I have very little movement in my trx4 build and I’m wondering if that’s on purpose

I hope one day a company or individual can create a simple program card for BLHELI32 esc like the one Hobbywing created.
Programming cards are anything but simple IMO... I'll take an app over any card!

I installed and dit the same as you how do you make the sine last longer in the throttle range before normal running
I seem to get some jerking at very low speed. How did you get rid of it? I'm using a 3S lipo.
What cell lipo also have you tried to ramp up the start up power?
Did you have to flash it initially or just go to the app with flight controller?
Can you use any drone esc and program it? What did you do for a bec?

good morning. can you send me a link where i can buy esc like this one of the video? thank you
Excellent video! 👍
which software to download for just windows 10 on pc
So im doing this with a different esc. In forward mode. I get a tone when i pull the throttle. In bidrectional it wont arm. Any insight.
Is it a blheli32 ESC?
tried it, but the initial slow crawl start isn't what i'm looking for... Just ordered HH CM v2 after this
Yeah if you're looking for something like rpm lock / FOC this isn't it.
@@Furadi thanks for the video, its detailed and clear for fellow fpv-ers 😏
What transfer gearbox do you use??
It's proprietary. Included in the kits.
why timing is max? 0 timing is better for low rpm torque, max timing for power on max rpm
Do u think a furitek esc from the 1/24 would work since they also have that super slow crawl.
Possibly. You should try it!

Negative G. It's included in the chassis kit. ruclips.net/video/69CJKbSFnjQ/видео.html

Awesome! You do have a Brood Riot S though so that’s basically cheating. Lol
blheli32 is needed only to flash it to am 32) blheli rides disgusting
well...for a trail truck it rides ok...AM32 is superior though.
