@@lowkeylokii4205 Black Desert is not THAT fun. You can go in a few weeks in the late game, and then it's quite always the same. Same rotation of skills/spells, same area to farm, in order to sell the best items to buy the ones for you. Only a few weeks of fun.
@@Mad77max77 or you can get into 1 of like 20 life skills, or build a worker empire. End game for most games is all the same. It turns into a grind fest getting the best gear. And it'll take you a hell of a lot longer to be able to grind every zone. Been playing for about 6 months and I've hitbsoft cap but there are still zones I cant enter. Not to mention there are 21 different characters, and each character has 2 different play styles, while each character has their own play styles. Plus there is pvp and altar of blood which is a huge hurdle to clear. If you're scared of some repetition most games aren't for you

The game is designed to punish you even in something as simple as upgrading armour. You have to no life that game in order to make any meaningful progress. Don’t even get me started on the amount of pay to win that the game has.
You forgot to mention that the main mechanic of the fighter twin daggers is to stay in the air for as long as possible. They get multiple abilities that help them stay in the air longer and dish more damage.
That's true I might have missed some points since I wanted to keep the video as general as possible since this was aimed at new players in general, but nonetheless an excellent point.
This is a game where you can play as a robot with a rocket launcher. If that isn't enough to convince someone to at least try this game, I'm not sure what will.
I'm probably gonna be a ranger, I've never played a phantasy star game and I've only played a few MMO'S and honestly the aesthetic of wearing all black with an assault rifle is what i prefer and assuming there are boss raids you can do with friends i do enjoy playing a supportive dps kind of role dishing out loads of damage while the others are tanking and dealing damage too
I knew the game from Phantasy Star Online: Illuminatus. I was not sure what class to be. I enjoyed quite a range of melee and ranged weapons. The support role was a concept they did not have figured out at that point so I assumed that class would be underpowered. I enjoy using technics alot over raw damage so the Newman Race was a no brainer for me. I chose the Ranger and am currently using a Rifle with a +2 to the debuff skill since I already enjoy Raids even though yesterday was literally day 1 of me playing.
I miss my Etoile 😭 crossed between taking Te or Fi as my sub for Hu with the multi-weapon function. Fi might still be the best but I hardly ever played it as a main, Te is always dope tbh. Decisions decisions 🤔
@@rookless4121 I started Hu/Ra but found a 4 star double saber and a 3 star pair of knuckles so I switched to Hu/Fi. I'm loving the knuckles so far, really does some crazy DPS 🤩

The skill trees suck, subbing sucks too now because any skills that would be useful to gain as a subclass have either been locked to the main class or straight nerfed into the ground.
Probably twin machine gun, but if you utilize all the fighter weapons you can pop off. There wasn't any twin daggers in the beta so it's hard to tell just yet.
It is, I'm having to play the game solo because my only friend is having trouble with the massive size of the full game, and with Techter I can do everything on my own.
@@_Libosido using a force with the talis looks like it could be your style, it looks so much cooler now, and forces double up as supports to an extent, or they used to at least. And techer can use the talis too even though he didn't show it
hmmm, to a certain extent. I wouldn't think I'd need to because knuckles already does solid damage. maybe pairing it with twin daggers to help gap close might be good. But in the end if you like the DS and knuckle combo I don't see anything wrong with it, so by all means go ahead :)

I couldn't really stand those in PSO2, haven't tried them in NG yet, but if they work the same way should be some vids out for that, basically it sticks to things and lets your tech spells cast from there, so you can use some closer range things at a distance basically. In theory, I love the idea, in use I could never get it to do what I wanted it to, maybe it is better in NG though, so Ill try it again when I play with the mage classes.
@@sparemobius7430 It's not the same I tried them they kinda now have 3 forms they have which take up which element ur using when ur casting so u can make it a concentrated for a spread form and an aoe form basically u have multiple talis around u and u can make them go into which formation is more useful at the time

Double Saber is pretty up there from what I hear, but I hear twin dagger and knuckles are pretty good too. Honestly they are all strong so pick your favorite at that point xD
Been using DS since launch and I gotta say it really is up there as you said. (Even rivals Knucks burst dmg from what I've seen, especially deadly archer wep action charge skill) Tbh I was just asking to know what people think about it or what people think is the best among the 3 Fi weps
One thing I'm still worried about and still not really understanding, is if it is reasonable in NGS to mix main/sub classes with different primary attack stats. Like can you be a hunter/force or a gunner/fighter and not lower your overall damage and put your character at a disadvantage?
That's a good question, you can actually pull this off to a certain extent. During the beta I saw fighter/force combos ranger/hunter and even techter/hunter combos. It seems like it is pretty lenient since in this game skill trees are so heavy on main class only skills. I might make a video on this once the game comes out and we play it a bit longer since there isn't a set in stone meta just yet. Damage won't be lacking too badly in the early game I'm sure.

The multi-weapon system apparently uses the attack stat of the base weapon. I'm not sure if it also uses the main attack stat from the main class for the calculations. If it does, then it should solve this mixing main/sub class damage type dilemma.
In PSO2 I only played as a summoner. I'm maxed out in Man and sub in NSG and I'm just noticing that all classes have 20 available points. How do you play as multiple classes? My friend said I needed to purchase add a skill tree that didn't give me access? Do I have to just change my class? Is my previous classes saved if I do that?
You can pick 2 classes, main class and subclass, if you've completed the beginning story mode stuff that should have unlocked subclass, so at the class counter you can select a main class and subclass to use those weapons for those specific classes. If you need the weapons you can purchase some on the player market for like 1k but you do need to upgrade them to make them strong

I understand the game play as I'm an OG in regular PSO2. You just change classes and level them up and the classes are saved. Started leveling up 2 new classes last night and I'm already at 13
There could be weapon camos that looks like a sword I'm sure. I know the 3star one definitely did. If you wanted to, you can play techer/hunter and use sword as well. Hope this helps :)
So far i am not having fun with this game. Every class to me looks like a flavor of dps, but i'm a slow tank player so what do i do? I can't even look cool as a C.A.S.T because there's almost nothing for them. I don't even have a class with a cool weapons like an axe or a minigun.
Fighter is being claimed the strongest class. The damage is great and they always have aggro as it shows. But gunner is strong too, but not much as fighter lol
Force....Is so underwhelming. Like really bad. There is pretty much no reason to not just go Tech/fo if you want to go pure magic. More defense, perm att/def buffs, and just better in general. I can't think of a single reason to ever go force main. Poo....
@@lowkeylokii4205 I'm not talking about this clip. Force IS underwhelming in the game right now, without a doubt the worst main class you can use. Its class skill is garbage, with a huge CD. All techs charge insanely fast in this game, there are NO slow/mutli level charging techs. Fast tech charge doesn't mean that much, and waiting 180 seconds for the only reason you are a force main class to be back up is laughable. Techer is far better. Same tech access, and the best class skill in the game right now, with 100% uptime, not some 180 Cd shit.

IIRC, chain trigger in NGS can be built up by uncharged TMG PA's not just normal attacks. You just use charged PA's to start or end the chain

I probably would have a mix of polearm and tech for buffs. Or maybe dagger and tech for buff. One of the two.

@@_Libosido If you have a second class that is allowed to, yes you can, actually. But being techter only, you'll get just the wand and the talis.
Pigeon do you think Knuckle Multied with DS would be Beneficial if i Added the WA and a PA from DS, since the DS has the DoT proc

I subclassed into Hunter so I have the wired lances, too. I am the red mist!
And of course for our final class we have techter.... we dont really know what kind of cleric this is but we use it a lot lol

2 ways is the player shop where you can buy it from players.
Or just killings monsters, they can sometimes drop them :)
