Excuse me I need help. I wanted to play Hunter and Waker but I found battles too forever with Waker as a sub. But now that I switched to fighter as a sub, my weapon range is super limited. Jumping around at high up bosses or tall foes with high weak spots takes just as long. I wanna stick with Hunter, but what can I play to cover all my bases? Is Waker better than Fighter in terms of variety? Should I play Waker as main and make Hunter the sub?

The best way to tell what class will be pretty strong, is to check kvaris solo people trigger videos of all classes. Whichever class has the fastest time, is more than likely the strongest at bossing and stuff. Fighter in my opinion is probably one of the top tier classes.

I was drawn to Waker after FF14 ruined Summoner in Endwalker. But I'm not the best mage when it comes to action RPGs. I'm usually a rogue. So fighter and hunter may be the best bet. But an I'm just gonna have to use hunter weapons to make up for crowd control and fighter weapons for solo boss battles. As far as I can tell Waker is consider low tier because even though it can atk at lots of ranges and is a mage that even does ok up close, it is the only mage that can't wipe out enemies with elemental exploitation without tapping into Force or Techter as a sub. I like the class. But when I was doing cacoons and Battledias fights took forever when I was solo.

It's always confusing to join this late. NGS already has few seasons and updates under its belt, and if you try the classic PSO2 game, there's 10 years worth of additional content... Saddly for NGS, the bottom line is super simple. You get major experience boost to bring you up to speed, so most of your loot is irrelevant. The story quests are solo only, and you have to do them to unlock new areas. The original classes never got much love after they introduced Braver and Waker classes.
Good basics as always Pigeon Sensei, Please cover the attack properties next, such as the guard frames on the opening animations of the iris gale and mid animation of radiant lilac trees, as well as which stage of attacks knock down and which attacks stagger on katana and when to apply them in your advanced guide 😁
Checked twice to make sure I didn't just miss it. It wasn't there so I have a small add: Lotus Lightning has guard frames on startup. Pretty niche in terms of application but it's a thing that exists.
Radiant Lilac is pretty good in positioning in back/front of enemy depends on situation like it can be use for dodging or chasing moving enemy. Engaging as well in mobs + iris gale 2nd and 3rd step. Sometimes you can use it as if you know you'll get knock out by enemy's burst attack but still get damage.
Ultimate (Katana) Braver Guide. Not once gone into details about teaching potential new Braver players how to use bow. GG. Honestly a great video if wanting to be exclusively Brave-tana.
Any tips for multiweapons/subclasses? I've just come back to the game a couple days ago and been using katana/soaring blades since then, but the more I learn Katana the less I find myself using the soaring blades, so I guess I should just move on from that.
Subclass for br is definitely force. For multiweapon you could probably do wired lance for vertical gap closing as their weapon action latches onto the enemy for you
i treat radiant lilac like a worse version of hunter's twisting zapper - when i'm taking out trash packs, i'm gapclosing with it, especially during an enemy eradication or a burst. some dps is always better than no dps imo, and if i can help it, i'd like to do damage while i'm getting in there.
Personally I’m not good at perfect guards, only get them 3 out of 10 tries, so I went to do a dps/tank build with mighty guard’s 90% damage reduction in case I miss a perfect guard, hunter’s omnidirectional guard, and war-cry, then whenever I need to do dps, I just switch to my braver weapons and use brave spirit to do dps.
What I regret is that I spent around 25,000,000 Mesta on most in game weapon cameos I can't get my Mesta back refunded. Today was the day I realized I'm just slayer class and ranger class as me. Well, I got another 10 months to get my 25,000,000 Mesta back

It’s not worth it. If anything, I would recommend spamming Silver Leaf Storm. 1): It is the ONLY Katana PA that can be canceled. In both its first and second stage. The third can be canceled in start-up, but once it comes out-you’ve gotta finish it. Cancels include your weapon action counter, and your step dodge. 2): Silver Leaf Storm can be used to make micro-adjustments where large movements aren’t necessary, because it enables movement. Radiant Lilac will force you to overshoot your target, and poor positioning leads to less damage. 3): Silver Leaf Storm costs less. At current, I have 112 PP. If I were to perform this combo- SLS > SLS > Lightning Lotus I would be able to do it twice, and still have enough to do either three Silver Leaf Storms, another Lightning Lotus, one Iris Gale ( not recommended ), or Two Silver Leaf Storms and a Radiant Lilac. If my timing is right? I can actually wait a split second to regen 2 PP and get a SECOND Lightning Lotus at Level 2. If I were to do the same combo with two Radiant Lilacs instead, I would be able to do it twice-but I would only get two PA’s afterwards. Not three. My options would be two Silver Leaf Storms, Two Radiant Lilacs, one Lightning Lotus, or an Iris Gale ( not recommended ). Radiant Lilac is awesome for gap closing, and there’s nothing wrong with mixing it in for some fun-but when it comes down to it? Getting hit for less damage is still worse than getting hit for NO damage and dealing damage simultaneously. SLS allows you to do that in a multitude of ways, and I would say it’s the bread and butter of NGS Braver.
7:56 you skill tree makes no sense sorry. because resta effect amplifier is helpful next to breakfall also can be used by subclassing braver. no Mighty guard are you for real? its a live saver so you dont screw up if you miss time to dodge or counter. I wouldnt use bow and katana in 1 skill tree either katana or bow with resta max and mighty guard. you forgot to mention pa combining to skip the 2nd lvl and move from lvl 1 to directly lvl 3 which is similar to sao ssc combo, attacking after using pa and how you can revover PP better back. Else its a good video but you have to improve it alot
I believe I did mention the combo retention skill. This doesn't make you skip the stages, it makes it so if you use silverleaf storm at stage one, you can use lightning lotus at stage 2 next. If you don't have that skill, you'll end up doing stage 1 silverleaf then do stage 1 lotus lightning instead. As for resta heals, 1 point gives you 10%, whereas 4 gives you 10% if you max it out. That doesn't give good value for skill points and even though I primarily use katana, I want to still use bow situationally and having bow skills are far more valuable than wasting 4 points for an extra 10%. As for mighty guard, katana already has a natural guard, even if you miss the counter, wasting 10pp for 10% damage reduction is terrible. If you hold guard and miss counter, and just guard you'll probably take anywhere between 20-100 damage depending on the attack or enemy. Maybe even less. Using a skill point to take 2-10 less damage is not worth it at all specially for 10 pp So in short saving those 5 skills points can better utilize your tree with other skills instead of maxing out the others. But one thing I agree with is, if you are purely only katana 100%, yes you don't need bow skills and can max the other skills.

About the Mighty guard yes depending how you fight and against bosses or gigantics which doing tons of damage to you it becomes more useful the most damage on myself i have seen was 1.4k from daitly gigantic 10% would mean 140 dmg less, but for now yes if you not play skimishy as iam as braver its not that much useful now but it becomes more useful later when we going higher. Resta is really helpful now when you around 700+ hp but you need to sacrifice you bow skills for that its up to you self.

I may have confused that part. I purely build melee for example And to add onto it, we already established katana already has a guard that reduces damage, so if you press and hold guard you take that reduces damage so that 1.4k would be much lower, then you take the 10% from that lower number

Pp regen is great. All other subclasses don't do much. Fighter is okay for bossing, gunner has decent pp regen, but force does better

When there's an update to class skills, they provide free resets. Or you can buy an extra skill tree and make a fresh one
