In the tenth episode, Dan takes a look at only deluxe figure to be released in the New Adventures of He-Man toy line! He's part steed, part human! He's the galloping battle beast known as Sagitar!
Aside from Optikk, Sagitar is the only character from NA series that really got my attention back then. It would be great to have a MOTUC version of him.
This would have been awesome to seen in the MOTUC line.
I used to use him as godzilla's friend when he fought gigan or my ultraman villains toys.
If I'm not mistaken, in Greek mythology, Hercules would sometimes ride into battle on the back of his mentor Chiron. They could've been drawing from that.
2:35 strangest He-man face ever
I really didn't like the New Adv of He-Man, but Sagitar was a very unique character which I did like (alongside Mara). Out of all the obscure MOTUC figures, most of which I didn't like, I'm somewhat disappointed that we still haven't gotten an updated Sagitar.
I'm glad the 4Horsemen finally gave us a Mara figure, but where's Sagitar, who actually had a vintage figure already made?
I'd buy an updated Sagitar, if he's done right. He'd need more points of articulation, with an updated way to change him from steed to tall human form. He'd need the option of having a removable visor (so that he could be displayed in either his vintage toy or cartoon appearance). His vintage weapons are cool, but some additional weapons would be nice, so that he could wield four weapons at once, if so desired.
kool dan !!! i scored a sagitar figure out of a huge lot of new adv of he man figures about a month or two ago . i must say that i never cared for these figures when they were originally released , but now... i totally dig them . artilla is an obscure favorite , as well as spin wit . anyhoo .. keep up the good work !
I was never quite sure how I felt about Sagitar as a kid. The NA cartoon still stands as one of my favorite childhood cartoons, even if most people hated it, I loved it. Sagitar was an odd one for me because while I love centaurs, something about him definitely weirded me out. Awesome video, Dan!

I was so stupid not to buy this back in 2017 for $10.Now is more money.
Oh come on! You are being too kind to that box art, Dan! You hinted at it, but the look on He-man's face and the positioning of EVERY character on that box looks like they all decided to take their "experimenting" too far and only He-Man regrets it. Although, by the looks of it, Sagitaur is getting the "power".
An interesting figure with potential. Perhaps if they added the goggles like people wanted him to have like on the Animated Series and also gave him a more , I don't know sort of like a horse like face? Maybe make the legs a little more horse like to. It could be something that might work better that way. That's just my opinion anyway.

What a magnificent toy it was, such a pity I've lost mine. Got one at the same time as my best friend and somehow he became the steed for our different Skeletors. Didn't the handle and shield split as well? And what's with the nose, they all lost paint there first.
no fence to the people who grew up with this toy, but this is THE creepiest action figure i have seen O_O i have a NECA necromorph on my desk and it pales in comparison to this... two words, human centipede...and that box art...er...
I never saw he man riding sagitar in the catoons, hopefully mattel will make more characters from the new adventures series like spin witt & hydron.
They should have made a character for Skeletor to ride on that was half man, half bear and half pig.
