Hi Dan! Big fan of (all) of MOTU, including this line (long live the 4 horsemen!). I am going back to snag a few of the rare items I missed when these were retail. I have a 200x Snake Armor He-Man and 2003 (Wizard world Chicago)Keldor coming in the mail that have been my grail pieces of this line, very excited. I recall back when these were at retail I had a really hard time finding the core villain lineup in stores, luckily I had a pre-order when the line launched that covered those bases. Classics became my favorite line of all time, but this line had such awesome designs and was fantastic in its own right however brief it was. Am also very stoked about Origins, once I got the SDCC set in hand I felt it could be something special! Looking forward to your book brother, will pick up day one!
hello pixel dan, I hope you are having a great day! i just want to ask where can we buy he-man 2002 series by matel toys? are they still available today? i want to start up my he-man collection.. you are my inspiration to my toy collections! thank you more power to your chanel and God bless!!!
I totally dig this series, Dan! I was fortunate enough to grab me an early release He-Man before the new logo was implemented. It's a great figure...aside from the sword. I actually want to track down the statue of the 2000's He-Man in the classic look. I really liked the Battle Armor look done in that style. Any chance we'll get a look at any of the "Stactions"? You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work, PCN. Hope to see you at Kane County!
I totally missed out on the 2002 heman series. It was my late teenage years and I was too cool for toys lol... But at least now I can enjoy the MOTUC figures...
I had One like this when i Was 6 years old and the last time i saw mine was when i was 10 and he had 1 arm left and 1 leg left without Hair nor Accessories except the Loin-Cloth ,even the armor was missing XD Haha Childhood Memories :)
Great review. Recently I got myself the 200x He-Man action figure. It's great figure but I do wish they continued this line, at least up to Hordak. Despite with a few articulations, it still has its perks and charm to it. By the way, I was also planning on getting Skeletor. Do you any reviews of that figure as well?
J Crash , I figure anyone watching anything on He-man is over 20, me I just turned 40 this month! But I still have a body of a 20 year old 💪, Thank You Masters of the Universe for inspiring me to hit the weights at an early age.
awesome review but I'm just curious, what is the name of the music that was used in the intro? I'm pretty sure it's one of the iMovie tracks but i don't know which one, can anybody help? thanks :D
Since everyone here is a he-man and MOTU enthusiast, can someone explain 2 things for me? !)Why are the good guys called as masters of the universe? 2)What leads to the failure of the 2002 show?I love this show, cool lead character, unique characters n full of action which I favour.Sorry if you guys disagree with me,I was born in the 90's,so I never watch the original
according to the toyline everybody was a master. Man at Arms was a master of weapons, and Stinkor was a evil master of odors. The cartoon just had the good heroes as Masters and the evil doers were just that evil. What lead to the failure of the 2002 show was lil to no interest within its demographic. The line while successful with adults but didnt really take off with kids. With a failing toyline there's no real interest to keep the show going so it was cancelled.
I don't get the anime comparisons with 200X. I mean, it doesn't even have underage girls running around half naked! ...Oh, you mean anime before the entire freaking medium started sucking due to a focus on "moe" garbage. Yeah, I guess I can see that. >>
2002 He man was the best incarnation! Had a fantastic toy line, cartoon and voice cast!
Gotta love the 200x He-man & Cartoon! One of my Fave Versions of He-man Ever!
Same
Yes!
I loved this toyline and the 2002 cartoon as a kid
Still my favorite toy line and cartoon. Its just amazing!
I love the details in this line, Love Heman's shorter hair and love his costume!
I wish they would have completed that show.
I will always love He-man's sword. It's easily the most iconic and most awesome pop culture sword in history
In the original cartoon, He-Man never once used the axe or the shield. Never. At least in the 2002 cartoon he used the shield.
Meh.
If they should some redesign for He-Man & Prince Adam, I haope they made Prince Adam a little samller, with much less muscles and relaxed face.
You, sir, have just earned a subscriber!!

This is a great review, Dan. Love it.
Great retrospective review dan. Reminds me of when i first saw it in stores and got into masters again.
Pixel Dan is the go-to guy for all things MOTU.
200X is my third favorite he man series bc it shows u how to do a reboot properly

Sorry for the very late reply. I finally got mine last year. He looks scary and menacing. His sculpting is insane and the paint job is really good.

You forgot to say that his furry briefs are replaced by an actual loincloth.
pixel dan has the power!
Awesome episode
I never got the "anime He-Man" nick name, he looks more comic bookey to me, the sword and axe on the other hand do have a very anime feel to them.
My fav of the line
Nice review

in the 80s we had to create our own battle scenes with our imagination because the cartoon just didn't do it justice

@anerysium GODZILLAANDSOUNDWAVE is right skeletor is awesome!i got it from e bay and he rocks!
awesome review but I'm just curious, what is the name of the music that was used in the intro? I'm pretty sure it's one of the iMovie tracks but i don't know which one, can anybody help? thanks :D
anyone know if the figure of this guy would fit with thundercats figures??
wow i didnt know there were 2 Ver of the armor. I have the cross ver
Dat axe doh
I had same figure and skeletor too but broke them 😭💔
same man. same. tore is half from torso 😭
Pixel-Dan and all you MOTU fans out there I got a question for you: Did we ever get to see He-Man transform back into Prince Adam???
Once in the original series episode "The Problem with Power".
still waiting on double-hinge elbow and knee joints for any Master action figure
The best He-Man is 200x
I never did like the 200x power sword.
Since everyone here is a he-man and MOTU enthusiast, can someone explain 2 things for me?

I really like this one two. I personally think it's much better than the original.
i have that and the two head guy
@CoolioVids101 yes
Did you know this is happening because Mercury is in retrograde
The head is very small size relating to the body.

Frankly im not surprised. The show seemed like it was targeted more towards teen/adults than actual kids anyways.
I was 4 and I loved the series and toys
Great review. Average figures.
so...skeletors sword ended up with NO meaning??? they nixed the whole original combining idea alltogether??
I did red power ranger vs heman stop motion tell me How you like it
meeko7888 it was good
are you sure you can use that little Filmation style "Pixel Dan Presents" opening? They might shut down your channel or something lol
Up
@randomguy4281 Don't give RUclips any ideas!
The 2002 intro was booty.
What do you mean? It was BADASS!
They should have never changed the cross on his chest. That was iconic for him. That stupid looking asterisk on his chest was just ridiculous.

Yeah I do not like this dude!
