thank you for sharing your skills. i am half way thought a synth wave album production and just want a little something else in the production. i picked up a few tips here purely by searching. now subbed :)
Thank you for this amazing tutorial on synth funk bass . You clarified a number of things for me in a very small amount of time . Plus I really dig your authentic and calm approach to explaining all of this , it makes it really easy to understand what you are explaining , Thanks !
ahh old school funk your tutorial is more clear than all the others that just want show their skill. I already laid down 8 bass and drum part and just working on the synth. THANKS
This is literally one of the best guide videos for production you break things down so much more then other producers I’m gonna be binging all your vids
You're fabulous Eliana, thank you so much. I'm finishing up a 10 track 80s funk album - wish I'd found you an year ago! You'll be a great inspiration and guide for the next projects.
your channel is great! this is the most helpful video I've watched on baselines. I really appreciate how you explain things in a lot of detail while at the same time keeping it beginner friendly
This is a great video. Concise, without any fluff, yet covers the subject well. Really helping me a lot starting off as a beginner in music production/composing. Thanks Eliana, happy to be a new subscriber :)
I have been trying to program synthesizers, but since I often approach things from a rather engineery and structured pattern, everything sounded just boring. But I love funk and I wanted to understand, what makes music sound that way. Your tutorial was so visual and was exactly what I needed to connect all those loose ends. Thank you!
Great instructive video ! Like Herbie Hancock says, "Funk is blast jazz notes or syncopated 16th notes, over a straight eight to the bar staple" . Bless on your life 😉
Dorian is such a funky mode, highlighting the 3rd of the scale really makes for a funky groove because that flat 3rd is the distinct note of dorian. Can also help to use the 6th, since its sharp compared to aeolian, so its like, "yep this isnt minor either".
You are an angel!!! Thank you sooo much for teaching me all that you have! You are so beautiful, I love it when you smile(it's rare)...you put one on my face when you do. ✌💕
Very nice video! I'm a bass player, lately I've been asked to play more gigs where the original songs had a synth bass instead of a bass guitar in it. So I'm trying to learn more about it.
I'd love to see more tutorials! I just got an Arturia and I'm starting to make music. I like funk and hip-hop type beats. Anyway, your video is really helpful. Not many videos showing how to produce funky beats. I hope to see more, good job!
Interesting tutorial Eliana, I enjoyed your instruction style. Straight to the point and as us Aussies would say, no bullshit. You have a new subscriber here. Cheers and best wishes!
Hahaha Yeh, maybe. Dunno about going to Bunnings, ok if you don’t want any service, but I’ll cook you up a couple of snags myself and shout you a VB. Cheers!
Very clever and I know just enough music theory to understand what your doing , going to try to put a funk guitar riff over the top of that , thanks alot your Aussie mate Matt . ✌️❤️🍷🍷🇦🇺🎸🦘
Iam an established music producer from india. And have given music hits around 40m views. I ve learned all my music from RUclips tutorials. But this is definitely gud stuff. The way you explain in a serious manner makes it too gud.
probably the best and most straight forward bassline tutorial ive ever seen, thanks
This is exactly at my level of understanding of music. How could I miss your videos years before?
100% original and creative. You have something very good going here, please don’t give up!
I appreciate your calm approachable personality in this video. its very comfortable to me. i enjoy when tutorials do this
You should definitely make a part two to this. I wanna learn more about da funk. This being the intro and the next being more advanced.

Good video! I like that you have a very practical way of explaining things.
