Great Video Sir! The brakes on mine worked but there was no chill. You would press down lightly and nothing, and then about 1/5 of the way it would catch and feel like you were slamming on them. Bought a new ford booster for 120 which comes with a pressure sensor already installed. With the help of your video now it stops like new. Thanks for the assist!

Well done video! I have the same issue and just got the replacement booster. Thanks for the video! I feel like I can do this now and know what to expect.

My 2010 Navigator has the same issue with a hard brake pedal and it looks pretty similar to yours. I've been limping it for a while, but this job doesn't seem as bad as I thought it would be. The new Motorcraft branded ones for my vehicle are about the same price as the Cardone on RockAuto so I'll probably be going with the OEM part. Of course, if I needed one locally in a hurry, I'd probably go the same route you did. Thanks for the video.

It is not a hard job.

@@737mechanic It's actually more difficult to do this on the old cars like the 50s and 60s cars I worked on in HS shop class, because the rod angle has to be correct. On this, has 4 bolts, there's pretty much no way to mess up the orientation of the rod.

Great video my friend. Need to replace mine 2011 f150 but the master cylinder is leaking into the booster. I am assuming that I need to replace the master cylinder also.

My new booster didn’t come with a boot. It had a tag saying use the old one… I have no clue how to get it off without tearing it up

I would like to see some after pressure readings on the brake booster sensor to have them in mind when encountering this issue. Thank you for your time Sr.
