Good commentary I've got my personal issues with QT I do think he gets off on using the N word in his movies that will never change with me. But I do think Django unchained was his best film hands down. That my opinion once again good commentary.
I'm black and I stick firm with the belief that the slurs were perfect for the film. If you are to portray slavery earnestly, turn the slurs are a part of that. You lose the greatness and believe ability of the world by excluding it, and the satisfaction of destroying it when you leave it out/pretend that didn't happen. Even the "excessive" use of the language fits as the past was excessively racist.
