no bugs? Wellllll, black screen lock outs, customization glitches like colors not applying, emblems vanishing after game restarts, two sets of the same paint happened before when playing with the cusotmizer enough, ammo crates that vanish from a level, or seemingly so like on the elevator stage. turns out those cammo boxes went up in the sky with the elevator then if you have to do it again, it leaves the ammo boxes up where you made it too, not where you need them on that stage segment restart. The meta of surviving when friends go down is to roll more than Sonic the Hedgehog for 2 minutes, can't counter an enemy nor go right into dashing run with a heavy when toggled in sight mode with a heavy weapon like every other weapon which just makes it artificially and pointlessly more difficult to counter, and of course the counter system within it's self is often a bit of a crap shoot more often than not. Oh there be bugs, lad. there be bugs. It's still fun, it makes you wonder for the possibilities, and nothing hits quite like the 40K universe. But there should be better, by far, there should be better. Still good, but not quite worth what I feel I paid for it, at least not yet. Im hoping that changes with time. it has a few lessons to learn, and I plan on playing with some more time on other classes. Campaign is pretty good but lose a life in a certain spot, and you may find yourself having to reload the full level or restarting the application to get ammo boxes back where they're suppose to be even on that. And im usually pretty patient with load times. but BY THE GOD EMPEROR, these are some of the worst since I saw a Batman game on the SNES, a cartridge, having load times. Bad loadtimes, and if you don't have an SSD for the PC version, you're going to be really SOL as people start kicking you from games just for the crime of loading in slow. Hopefully the numbers loss Helldivers 2 took will learn enough between their own mistakes and numbers loss of people playing SM2 for now that they should tread carefully future with the ideal of nerfs and scale other things up instead, and may indeed be turning things around and be a lot more honest after they make a claim. not just appearing to be open and honest because they talked with us more about things like not doing more dramatic nerfs, a month before they do yet more dramatic nerfs to flames right before a flame based warbond.
@@Bangcat I see you played on PC. Maybe they had more bugs on PC because most games are optimized for consoles. I can’t wait until they fix and patch the multiplayer so I can finally have a good time
@@kinggeno1 Yeah, possible. I did play on PC, and I'm aware of the sorting for consoles further. Likely why there's been such a harder lean into NVIDIA's competitor, for consoles run on modified versions of that competitor these days. But yeah I'm a bit long in the tooth and remember a bit of a higher expectation of quality before release. Kind of interesting they held this game back an entire year to polish it and still has some of these issues though. Some of it not even bugs, but some concerning design philosophies for the extended missions mode progression and some of it's expectations. We'll see how it all rolls though. I'm not quite finished with it all yet, but with some changes likely coming to Helldivers 2 again, after further heat hitting them and the crap hitting the fan, much their own doing right before the release of what many played HD2 for in part, the feels of things like being a Space Marine, it was yet another perfect storm for them to start realizing they better do what they must I think> But we'll see. It's going to be an interesting remaining of a year, and interesting to see where things go from there into the next. Another rather dark co op is also going early access very soon. FOREVER WINTER Check it out.
@@Bangcat The developers of Hell Divers 2 have made their money. At this point it is financially incentivised for them to decrease the active player base as quickly as possible. Do you have any idea how much servers cost to run? My guess is this is a passion project for them, so they will make the game they want to make regardless of if it enamors them to the player base or alienates two thirds of them.
