can't agree more , hahahaha and there is to many subject and to many deadline… sometimes i just blank and stoned in silence because to many works I'm not yet done … hahahhaha
For me the 24 hours before a deadline go like the stages of grief: Denial: I can do this shit, I'll be done in no time Anger: Fucking teacher! So many damn work due tomorrow is just not fair! Fuck him. Bargaining: Maybe if I had done this model last night I would've be done by now. Depression:I'll never finish this on time, It doesn't look good at all. In fact it sucks. Acceptance (Deadline): Well, it all went ok I guess, I need a drink.
Thank Y'all for watching this Video. UPDATE 2014: Out of the main 10 characters in this video, 5 survived and are currently in the professional level. (Yippee! Hurray!) For those who are asking about the music, the song is "Carmen Habanera" (Trance Opera Version).
I have finished my project 24 hours before deadline. Had a day off. Hung out, got rid of my worries and stress. A couple of hours before bed i smoked a joint and had a good night sleep. I know i broke the rules but i thought i should end my student years all relaxed and satisfied. The next day i had a kickass presentation. First time that happened. Glad i did it.
MrSatanochio Dude, take a chill pill, i appreciated what you did..... Its my dream to do that.....thats why i said what most of the people can not do,you did it.....sleep does help in good presentation......
I enjoy the stuff so much I want to go to sit in on classes and watch students for about 1 month. I have been filling that for years but hate IIT commute. I am gld I didnt finish at Pratt much less finish. I went computer, business and idea developing. My problem with arch field is supplies, regional licensing, new software, manuverability and lack of concetration availability in numerous colleges or minoring:(
Archi Tubes I am glad to see that you have recently updated on how 5 of 10 students have made it to the professional level. Would you be able to give me a bit of information on what i should expect in architecture school in UH? what did you find the hardest part? what did you like the most? anything really that you can tell a freshman coming in? please & thanks.
Everyone has their opinion: Mine is the hardest part is to get the model to look good, it takes a hell lot of time and if it's perfect no one appreciates it but if it isn't they give you a hard time. My favorite part is the design and the 3D rendering, I just love to be able to visualize everything about my project in a more realistic and specific way. But some friends of mine say modeling is the best part, others that the planning and like I've said everyone's opinion is different but it's a very interesting field if you ask me. Always changing and anyone can contribute to it.
Hey I might be going here next year & I'll either major in architecture or geology. I've already taken 2 years of architecture during my high school career but I was wondering which program ya'll use most of the time: Revit or AutoCad? I'm more of a fan of revit than I am Cad
The thing I am learning is architecture for me isn't something you can dabble with make a hobby and experiment with. Its a darn shame but I cant even begin to plan an idea without site plans, measurements and info on a given location. Its just a waste to really put forth effort without the info and yet I love getting paper and supplies for nothing else.
greetings from saudi arabia ! ( i study architecture in KING SAUD UNIVERSITY ) SOON i'll move to san diego and study in new school of architecture and design (NSAD)
love the last part......" told how useless they were "......but some teachers and staff do suck......so what some don't like others would love...( maybe ).......
why does architecture designs have to be weird? Im disillusioned by it all, it has to be weird, and you have to find a reason to bullshit its weirdness
architect student are same together in all of world, sleepless, all of time music and always work till 0 deadline time ;)

70% of architecture school videos on RUclips come from UH. Can't wait to go there in the fall
Hi what's the purpose of the big cardboard cubes everyone is using at the start of the process?
its called a study model,,its used to study space and form of what you are trying to build.
i'm guessing they are designing on the edge of a cliff looking out, some of the models were "excavated" in it too
Greeting from the Kansas state college of architecture planning and design
