    Just bought a CT5555. Thanks for your videos on that machine! They are helping me a bunch. Back in 2009, I bought a brand new CT230 Bobcat hydro. I still have it with about 1000 hours on it. It is just like new! Yes, the smaller ones do have their place and are better suited for things the bigger ones really aren't. My CT230 is open station so it can get under trees that my CT5555 will never go under. Great to see your CT2025. That would be my first choice if I had to replace my CT230. Keep us posted on your experiences with the new machine! Cheers!!

      How do you like your 55 so far?
      Have you had any problems with parts availability with your 230? Just curious about long term support from Bobcat.
      Thanks for your comments!

    Good video and great tractor. I have the same one but after 5 days, I only have 10 hours. That 50 hours in 5 days is really working it!

    Hey bud, I also have a CT2025, when fueling, I bought a cheap hand siphon tube, set a 5 gallon jug on left fender, hand shake your siphon, and kick back and it will dump all but a little of the 5gal fuel into your tank!! Don't have to hold a thing.

    Nice! The CT2025 is very popular. Did they have the free loader deal again?

      They did, that was one of the reasons I went with another Bobcat.

    I’m looking at a left over 2022 CT2025 for a great price. are you liking it?

    • @gaining_ground
      @gaining_ground  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, it’s a great little tractor for what I use it for (mainly pto work). If you are expecting much in the way of pulling power 25hp just isn’t enough. The nice thing is at 25hp you avoid the emissions bs.

      @@gaining_ground all we really want to do it move dirt and gravel around from time to time. And pull a brush hog. We paid good money to have our land cleared of all the over growth with the big machines but I want to be able to maintain it from now on.

    • @gaining_ground
      @gaining_ground  7 месяцев назад

      @@harleyguy932 It should do a good job with maintaining. If you have hills it will struggle climbing them in anything other than low gear. It’s a good simple tractor if you ever wanted or needed to work on it yourself.

    • @harleyguy932
      @harleyguy932 7 месяцев назад

      @@gaining_ground that’s good to hear, no, land is relatively flat, couple small swales or whatever their called for drainage but nothing I’d call a hill. I work on all my SXS and motorcycles so the maintenance thing doesn’t bother me. I trust myself more than dealers now a days. they’re offering a 2022 CT2025 with a loader for under 16k. 0% for 84 months. We don’t even neeed one right this minute but I feel like I’d be kicking myself if it didn’t take advantage of a deal like that.

      @@harleyguy932 Wow, that’s substantially less than what I paid. I’d buy it every day for that price.

      Nothing gets past you. I misspoke, it’s a Daedong engine.
      Doosan, Daedong, Dingdong, they’re all the same:)

    Why didn't you get a real tractor instead of the toys

    • @gaining_ground
      @gaining_ground  Год назад +4

      I have several real tractors. The toys are my upkeep tractors and the only things I buy new, which makes it easier to make videos of. I’m not sure that people would be interested in videos about JD 8400s or JD 4455s that were bought used and that I don’t know exactly what issues or things that were done prior. I could be wrong.
