i support creatives like rui who need a virtual face to deal with unreasonable expectations of beauty, but a completely autonomous AI idol? nah man. technology is so that we can free up time to create art, not so the tech can do art for us so we can work more. humans will always have art they want to create and share, it's really wild to create technology to compete with us for that when artists are already so undervalued by society. if you want a scandal-free idol, there are already fictional idols out there with huge fanbases :/
