The faking of the cyber expert... really brilliant. Kudos to the producer and team for this idea and execution! A very pertinent issue indeed, which we all need to seriously be careful with.
Its cool, because in few years you not be able to do this anymore without specifically made software to do that. Only few years ago AI was drawing human as O and few I's and now not every one can tell what real and what not.
Thanks for this informative video. Can this be penalised? Can this be blocked by the platforms? Also when they are purposely using for advertisement, etc. the viewer should be informed such as "representational" .. Measures should be taken to safeguard the viewers .. please !
I already noticed all these long ago and wonders why our government really cannot track where these comes from? With advance technology in sg im sure they can buy why ? Even tracking scam phone msg also cannot do it? Sure all scammers need a line to transfer all these text or msg
this is so interesting to me actually using Machine learning to mimic someone's expressions and speech. hopefully one day i am able to learn more about this and perhaps do some code on this
Pretty sure you could even without a computer science degree, many courses are avaliable on RUclips, Coursea, etc. Just have to search keywords like "deep learning", "convolutional neural network". Machine learning is usually the simplest to begin with if you are a beginner. Have fun learning!
Well, it's true that deepfake can create lots of misleading information like scams. However, I do look forward for the positive potentials that deepfake could create in the future, could it create a kdrama series in 1/3 of the original time and cost, could it dramatically change how lessons are taught (from boring lectures to interesting real world application), and so much more.
Enlighten me... I think deepfakes will be perfect for crimes related. If any, it is perfect for increasing confidence of disabled people especially when communicating virtually. But again... does spreading false information ever good as a community?
Unless a deepfake can be generated in real-time, the issue isn't that important. But imagine having a video conference with your good friend, his face, his voice - not him. Curious, isn't it?
My number 1 criteria : If it's a commercial/advertisement selling impractical get rich dreams or silly investment Masterclasses, then it's a scam. That's why I either skip, close my eyes for a break or stand up and move around to stretch my legs when any ads start to run on media. Live your live simply, pay by cash if possible, limit yourself to 1 credit card, avoid leaving excessive digital trails, clear your computer cache regularly, save your passwords by writing on physical media such as paper and don't save them online for quick access, refrain from clicking on any links especially Facebook, use an ad blocker.
Fake lah. So obvious. The same exact fake story they used on mark Lee as well. Just use your brains lah no such thing as central bank of Singapore. We are monetary authority of Singapore
In the thumbnail, fake's skin looks too smooth to be real. It's like they put an inch of make up on you and used the best lighting tricks available. Even then there are other oddities on top but that's just me. Also seen deepfake of Natalie Portman, but to me, it looked more like some body double pretending to be her. 🤷
Put those words into somebody's mouth no more from 'the horses' mouth' e.g. Singapore's population 10 millions? Well, this song 'Everybody's somebody's fool!' and not forgetting 'Devils In Disguise' or 'Confident Trickster' Police Advice: "Don't Talk To Strangers".
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have succeeded. Making a fool of yourself. If we began to misbelief what we see then what should we believe. How are we going to treat all these contents appearing on these platforms, should we even bother to look at it in the first place. What about those contents that are true? What is your reaction, doubt it? So at the end we are all fools.
Technology is going to get better and better, no matter how. Unless human stop daydreaming about getting rich the easy way, there will be more people falling for scams.
Were the intro clips all the actual fake videos or fake videos done by the production team for this particular episodes? Cos I could tell almost immediately that they were fakes. The movement of the lips and the speech weren't exactly aligned, the silhouette of the person had a sort of "shimmer" against the background, and the movements of the speaker seemed a bit "unnatural" or too repetitive.
Imagine watching a current marvel movie..then watching it side by side with an older maybe like 60-70s made scifi movie. The comparisons with the visual effects with that era and the current would be enough to make anyone's jaw drop or perhaps make some cringe at how bad it was in the past. So likewise with the tech of deep fake now... Just give them another 5-10 years, it might really replace anyone to life like accuracy... Even scarier yet.. Don't even need anyone at all, since everything can be generated
It is scary that I rrally can imagine this. A movie generated 100% without real life actors/actrees/VA and nO video or sound recording device at all. I have a feeling that a 30-minutes movie will come in less than 5 years, perfected in 10 years. And for once, maybe a fake moon landing is not a joke.
“We were just raising questions and we want answers to the questions. So a lot of things have been said, but there are still many questions that are unanswered.” Leong Mun Wai
@martinbrock713 Prof Tan noted that Mr. Leong had made unssubstantiated allegations in Parliament on several occasions - neccessiating his withdrawing them and apologising to the House. In one instance in March 2023, Mr. Leong withdrew an allegation over a bribery case linked to Keppel Offshore & Marine, and also apologised to then Speaker of the House Tan Chuan JIn
Parliament has a responsibility to ensure this: state properties like black and white bungalows should generate good value for the taxpayer. Under no circumstances should they be allowed to be underutilized fall in disrepair and be vacant for years
@@LIZZAR203 i dont care about AI art or real hand drawn art even its deep fake ... if i want to buy expensive art then i ask professional to authenticate it with certificate. Else who cares... most commoners dont buy art most concern about able to pay bill and food and family bond.
That's why don't post your photos or your loved ones' photo online, such as Facebook or anywhere else.
This is so scary! Thanks for talking about this.
Very informative. Hope that there will be Chinese version for the seniors and aired in channel 8.

lol i was immediately able to notice the expert's voice didn't sound natural and the lip movement didn't look quite right at around @2:50
Its cool, because in few years you not be able to do this anymore without specifically made software to do that.
Only few years ago AI was drawing human as O and few I's and now not every one can tell what real and what not.
So... this will be another era of cat-and-dog, virus-and-antivirus, ai-against-ai.
Frightening!!
Noone can deep fake your car, Steve.

People are living in perilous times!!
Exactly this fake marketing should be clarified in term of use.

After knowing the interview was deepfake, I kept staring at their mouths for the rest of the video lol!😆
AI is being abused by scammers , deepfake is like fakenews.
Good advisory content 👍
How about Pofma?
One day face time can be fake too with how advanced technology is. Really scary 😓
Haha scary yet too funny considering the twists you guys generated !
With AI on the rise, it may pose an issue to distinguish what is real and what are fakes.
Identity theft is not a joke
It's the new era. Just be careful out there and trust no one. 😊😊😊
You can see the different in Steve's eyes.

Good catch!

So easy to fall for the fake video. It's very important to create awareness.

Skin texture. Every fake you showed has perfect skin. The facial muscles also
Don’t move when they speak. It’s only the mouth.

It's 2024 and you're all just learning about this; as media is just talking about it? Late much!!! This has been occurring since 2017.
Some people are also making use of the existence of this technology to try to convince others that a real person is fake. 🤣
Jamie does not speak like that. Ha. Only her fans will know how she speaks. She has a unique way of speech.
looks like me....sounds like me....but is not me...
Plot twist: this video is also deepfake.
Did CNA really interviewed JJ Lin on his investment strategy and taken down by BOS? Or is that deep fake as well?

Now then noticed seriously.
Steve's deepfake is more handsome, which is more dangerous as it will attracts eyeballs.

Watch this word 'believe' carefully break it up you have 'be lie ve' with 'a pinch of salt'.
What if an AI can actually clone a real human in the not too distant future...
' so easily manipulated ' ???! - welcome to democracy !!!
You Tube has some sketchy ads on here, using people like Elon Musk to attract you investors.
the future looks grim
Some sound very robotic
Hmm.. but I can tell.the voice and the lips are a bit off
The world of ai is so scary

i still can tell the face is fake obviously because the face is too smooth and artificial. i can tell straight is fake.
It’s like being able to spot the difference between AI generated art and real hand drawn art.. it’s not that difficult
