QUICK & EASY HOMEMADE SPAGHETTI SAUCE - So Good and So Simple!

This homemade spaghetti sauce is so fresh tasting and is just good! A family favorite for sure! It easily feeds a dozen people. During the summer months, when Pa has fresh tomatoes in our garden, I make this sauce using fresh tomatoes. Very good! Keepin' it simple.
3 lbs ground beef
3 28-oz cans crushed tomatoes
1 28-oz can tomato sauce
1 bell pepper chopped
1 onion chopped
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp parsley
1 tsp onion powder
2 cloves garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

I sure could’ve used this recipe last night. I usually use jarred sauce, but didn’t have any in the cupboard and already had my meat and onions cooked. I used what I had such as canned tomato sauce and paste, and it turned out pretty good. But I felt I was winging it the whole way, just throwing in this and that. I’ll try yours next time. I’m sure it will be a keeper!

We eat spaghetti often and love it. The sauce freezes very well too (although we eat leftovers so usually don’t have any to freeze)😂.
