Nice to see genuine music being appreciated in this day and age
Got your snark in for the day?
Bass collection and an amp by the bed. Now THAT'S a dedicated musician!
I f*cking love this walking bass line. BRAVO
Beautifully played. I like the white Rickenbacker
Nicely done. Glenn Cornick would be proud!!
Are you serious??????!!!!!!
@@penkal1981 Oh do come on! Glenn was a difficult act to follow. This isn't an absolute copy but it was a reasonable attempt, though the solo needs a bit of work.
Very nicely done young one. Ian inspired me to play flute when I was your age.
Wow, great performance, well done !!
youtube is a gold mine.. whenever I think I saw everything it hits me with things like this.
well done Keira
Excellent! such a great bassline played very well!
Yes, it's from BACH!

A SUS PIES MI REINA, usted acaricie el bajo NADA MAS.
WOW very well done. Glenn would be happy to see this.
I met Gldnn a long time ago in the late 70s as he was a friend of my new roommates and he was as nice as they get. He used to come over at least once or twice a week. Said he liked that no one bothered him about what happened with JT. and he and my roommate and the girlfriends would just be about anything else. OF course there was talk about Jethro Tull but over all it became just like any other friend coming over. That went on for about 6 months before he moved away.
BUT a few times when he came over (long before texting or anything as we lived right in the heart of Hollywood at Fountain and La Cienega. And a few times I was here alone and we'd get high and hang and finally I asked him bout this little tune as a fellow bass player I said there were sections I just didn't figure out and asked if he could point out where I was screwing up.
He said he didn't even remember it himself as it was just the recording where he played it. He said live Ian ALWAYs played over HIS SOLO and it used to piss him off and as a result he just sort of played the standard opening and let Ian just do what he wanted.
SO we spend the better part of an hour BOTH figuring out the parts he couldn't remember himself.
That was one of the coolest nights I can remember. Just spending a few hours with him and we played other stuff as well and were as high as kites and probably laughed ourselves silly a few times. It was one of those times you remember for the rest of your life.
HE would have LOVED this.
Good Stuff!!!!
You've no idea how much glee I have that someone covered this recently. Ish. "7 years ago.". Fuck, I'm old.
Outstanding.
Sweet Rick! With the pickguard too...
Excellent!
Saving for inspiration! Great cover!!!

Como não amar mais.
Beautiful fingers
Very nicely done !!!
I was listening to tull's bouree and everytime this video of you catch me
Well done!!
Fantastic well played Keira🕺
SUPER
Magnificent! 🇧🇷
Pretty much nails it with her great classical technique.
The fusion jazz rock feel, she doesn't own yet
but it won't be long "bien jouer"
Good observation. I don't have the insight to articulate that but I had that feeling. breath?
very nice , thank you.
Our Old Friend Glenn Would Smile At This!
RIP.....Mr.Glenn Cornick
This is really good
That was sooooo nice !!!! ...oh , your a great bassist also ...
Una genia total!
Ed bravissima😊
Nice Rick! I just got mine a few days ago with the FireGlo finish.
Nice job! 😍
I wish I knew how to play that.
great
perfeckt
Fabuloso
always fantasized about owning a Rickenbacker... you've joined the ranks of Paul MCartney, John Entwhistle, Giddy Lee and probably many more I'm not mentioning.
Bought a Ric a few years ago and sold it after about 4 gigs. The neck on those things are like 4x4's. My hands are large so it shouldn't have made a difference I just wasn't comfortable with it. The P/U's on those basses don't really work independently very well either. I guess it jut comes down to preference. The up side is they sound great.
@@nickrobinson7283 stingrays are quite popular.
I got my hands on one and thought the neck felt like holding the wrong end of a baseball bat. Maybe the middle.
Last weekend I got to play someone's Ric for the first time.
While it didn't quite feel like a log, I didn't like the squareness of the neck. The slack string tension of the 32 inch scale was cool, but I came to the conclusion that after years of drooling over one, that the damaged pawnshop bass I got for less than the cost of a set strings is going to out play anything under a thousand dollars.
Chris Squire ;)
@@pierre2497 YES... literally
Perfect!! UAU
Show
Damn !!!! : )
I wish I could play my flute part with you ! None of my bass players in bands I played could make it as good as you! All the best! Great talent! Keep on rocking my dear!
You ask her to collaborate
quando a pessoa nasce com o dom é outro nivel
the Rick
Ricks need a thumb rest! (or finger rest), great playing, especially on the double-time section!
Good tone
She should tour with Ian he could definitely use a pretty face on stage and obviously she can play 😅
nice nice
I want that bass please
Original bass by Glenn Cornick.
The best bass player Jethro Tull ever had.
He was kicked out of the band becauae Ian Anderson didn't like Glenn partying too late with the girls.
I want that bass
Loved it would jam with you anytime nice tone
Anybody else drooling?
Where oh where did you get that Snowglo Ric?! Can’t find one anywhere!
Nos encontraremos con nuestro querido Glen en otras dimensiones 🌞♥️🌞
No sabía que dejó este mundo.
Linda expresión
Not how I learned it years ago, Better by Far. It sounds very correct.
Nicely done. Were that I was a younger man...I'd move my drums to you!
brava
молодец!
God bless Glenn..I contacted him once on the internet regarding a film I made.
The solo is not perfect, but a brave attempt - braver than most Tull bass players after Glenn Cornick in fact, who never dared to try it on stage. (Notable exception: Jonathan Noyce.)
Who cares
@@TheStephanotis I have every officially released live album and some bootlegs - on those Pegg never played the solo.
Big deal !!! I take it that you can play it perfectly dressed in an anorak ?
@@jimking3288 The only instrument I can play a little is Tin Whistle; I once fiddled with a guitar and found out that string instruments are way over my head and beyond the pain tolerance of my fingers.
There’s videos of him playing live 😂

This is the girl 'Budapest' was written about :)
