I remember when I took my kids to the dentist they pulled me aside and said "we'd like to give their teeth a a fluoride wash, okay?" I knew fluoride wasn't great and I said 'absolutely not' and they were all shocked. Why were they all surprised? How is everyone in the medicinal world so miseducated about fluoride? I'm now 50 and after seeing how many "professionals " handled the covid epidemic, I struggle to trust anybody in the medical world because they all seem so detached and holistically ignorant. I want to remain teachable and helpable but I really struggle trusting anyone

After 10 years on thyroid meds I was able to wean myself off by eliminating fluoride as much as possible, taking iodine, eliminating seed oils and changing my diet big time. I'm on no medication now at age 75. I'm energetic and have great blood work. Thank you for all this knowledge. I learn something new every day. Now I'm on third doctor and he put me on a small bp med. I stopped that but bp crept up, I've been addressing that and reduced it 50%, the goal is to remove completely, but safely.

In March of 2000 my 27 yr old son died from sepsis pneumonia. They supposedly kept trying everything to get his lungs to respond & I was told he would not live but they were doing these things in hope to help others. I was also told that even if he lived, he would not have any kind of life, he would be like a vegetable. We took him off life support & he died. The ironic thing was that previous fall, my son told me that if anything happened to him & he could not live a normal life, he did not want to live as a vegetable. I still miss him every day.

My idiotic small town began putting fluoride in the water around 2005. Unbelievable!! There is an artesian well in town owned by a church cuz it’s on their property. The city has maintained that well and provides access to it by residents. They test it and offer it two ways, with chlorination and without. That chlorine free is so wonderful! I had 4 dozen gallon containers filled with it and stored them in my lower storage area for eight years. I didn’t add anything to them. No drops of bleach, nothing. Last fall I began to use them to see how they had lasted over that time. Not a single bottle was bad. They were as clean and clear as when I first stored them. I recently went back and began filling those I’ve used up. This is a profound lesson to me. We are being poisoned from so many directions. I’m now a widow, I’m it, no one else is looking out for me, I’ve begun to be very vigilant. Thank you for your message!

My cholesterol runs between 240 and has been up to 306. The cardiologist insisted that I NEEDED a statin. My nutritionist suggest nitric oxide. I started NI. It did lower my blood pressure to the point that I got dizzy, and I had to adjust how much I was taking. After doing an EKG of my blood vessels, my cardiologist was SHOCKED that, even though my cholesterol was high, I had ZERO plaque in my blood vessels. The Cardiologist asked ME what I'm doing, and I told him. He said, "Well, you don't need me. Keep doing what you are doing."

Nasal breathing will produce nitric oxide. However, that depends on several things. 1) Do you have the NOS (enzyme) to produce NO, 2) Do you have the necessary precursors readily available. If the endothelium or epithelium are dysfunctional, then the NO is not produced.

among some other treatments for specific medical issues yet we have
to learn them on u-tube. Doctors don't bother to spend the time keeping
up to date on new treatments for medical issues. There are seminars
periodically held for doctors to attend, which "some" do but, unfortunately most don't. Medicine and science are always changing. I bet if you took 20 regular doctors they wouldn't know ANYTHING about what has been discussed here.

Here are some of the best foods for nitric oxide:
Leafy green vegetables: Leafy green vegetables, such as spinach, kale, and arugula, are excellent sources of nitrates.
Beets: Beets and beet juice are also excellent sources of nitrates. (I try to take this everyday).
Citrus fruits: Citrus fruits, such as oranges, grapefruit, and lemons, are good sources of vitamin C, which helps the body to absorb nitrates.
Garlic: Garlic is another good source of nitrates.
Nuts and seeds: Nuts and seeds, such as almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds, are good sources of L-arginine, an amino acid that is converted to NO in the body.

I'm an amateur weight lifter and a beginning bio hacker. I first started with L-arginine supplementation in the early 2000's. I then read about how difficult it is for our body to use the artificial L-Arginine, so I started looking for something better. I found out about L-Citrulline and how it is easily changed by our bodies into more easily used nitric oxide and not an artificial version from artificial L-Argnine. Since I have been taking L-Citrulline daily, I have lower blood pressure 128/70 and a lower resting heart rate than most my age(53) at 65-70BPM...all in spite of being "obese" by government standards. So, I wholeheartedly endorse using L-Citrulline to supplement the bodies need for NO. I feel good, clear headed and have plenty of energy(as long as I get the sleep I need). Also, I've been anti flouride since the 90s after I found a paper on the production and use of flourides...one of it's main uses is in rat poison. That was enough evidence for me to quit...lol I don't let my kids get flouride either when we go to the dentist and we all have an average amount of cavities. Our well water keeps us from being exposed to flouride too, always carry a water bottle around full of water from home.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🧠 *Introduction to Nitric Oxide*
    - Nitric oxide is a gas produced naturally in the body, diminishing with age.
    - It acts as a signaling molecule, primarily known for vasodilation, controlling blood flow.
    - Nitric oxide deficiency is linked to various chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and Alzheimer's.
02:21 💔 *Erectile Dysfunction as an Indicator*
    - Erectile dysfunction can signal underlying vascular dysfunction, a precursor to cardiovascular issues.
    - Loss of vasodilation due to nitric oxide deficiency affects multiple organ systems beyond the sex organs.
    - Recognizing erectile dysfunction as a significant symptom can prompt preventive measures against cardiovascular disease.
03:17 🩸 *Blood Pressure Regulation and Health Risks*
    - Nitric oxide plays a crucial role in regulating blood pressure by ensuring vasodilation.
    - High blood pressure resulting from impaired nitric oxide production increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
    - Vascular dysfunction contributes to conditions like vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
05:52 🦠 *Causes of Declining Nitric Oxide Production*
    - Nitric oxide deficiency can result from dysfunctional nitric oxide synthase enzyme or poor diet and lifestyle choices.
    - Ingesting inorganic nitrates from foods like dark leafy greens relies on oral bacteria for conversion to nitric oxide.
    - Factors like fluoride in toothpaste and mouthwash disrupt oral microbiome, hindering nitric oxide production.
09:21 🚫 *Impact of Mouthwash on Nitric Oxide Production*
    - Mouthwash, particularly alcohol-based and fluoride-containing variants, disrupts the oral microbiome crucial for nitric oxide production.
    - Eliminating essential oral bacteria with mouthwash leads to increased blood pressure and compromises cardiovascular health.
    - Discontinuing mouthwash restores oral bacteria and reinstates protective cardiovascular benefits.
12:24 🦷 *Historical Perspective and Misconceptions about Oral Health*
    - Historical focus on killing oral pathogens led to the widespread use of mouthwash, disregarding its impact on nitric oxide production.
    - Overuse of fluoride and chlorhexidine mouthwashes is counterproductive and undermines overall cardiovascular health.
    - Recognizing the oral-systemic link and the interconnectedness of bodily systems is vital for holistic healthcare approaches.
14:14 🔄 *Interconnectedness of Body Systems and Nitric Oxide Production*
    - Nitric oxide production is intricately linked with various bodily functions and systems, highlighting the interconnected nature of human physiology.
    - Disruption in nitric oxide production, caused by factors like diet, lifestyle, and medication, impacts overall health and increases disease risks.
    - Understanding and preserving pathways like the oral microbiome-nitric oxide axis are crucial for maintaining optimal health.
17:53 🍽️ *The dangers of long-term use of antacids and their impact on nutrient absorption.*
    - Long-term use of antacids, originally approved for acute use, can lead to deadly consequences.
    - Antacids block the absorption of essential nutrients like B12, iron, B vitamins, magnesium, iodine, selenium, and chromium.
    - Deficiency in stomach acid production due to antacid use can result in insulin resistance, autoimmune diseases, and impaired nitric oxide production.
19:05 🍶 *Strategies to boost stomach acid production naturally.*
    - Chemical reactions in parietal cells require iodine, betaine hydrochloride, zinc, B vitamins, and carbon dioxide to produce hydrochloric acid.
    - Antacid use leads to nutrient deficiencies necessary for stomach acid production, requiring supplementation of iodine, zinc, and B vitamins.
    - Restorative physiology focuses on providing the body with essential nutrients to facilitate natural healing processes.
20:41 🌿 *Importance of iodine in stomach acid production and dietary sources.*
    - Iodine plays a crucial role in stomach acid production, besides its role in thyroid function.
    - Dietary sources of iodine include kelp, seaweed, iodized salt, and certain fermented foods.
    - American diets are often deficient in iodine, necessitating supplementation for optimal health.
22:19 🥓 *Understanding the role of nitrites in processed meats and dispelling misconceptions.*
    - Sodium nitrite in processed meats acts as a curing agent, preventing spoilage and bacterial overgrowth.
    - Misconceptions linking nitrites in processed meats to cancer lack scientific basis and fail to consider biological plausibility.
    - Vitamin C, polyphenols, and vitamin E inhibit the formation of harmful nitrosamines, ensuring the safety of nitrite-cured meats.
30:25 🔬 *Mechanisms of nitrosamine formation and the role of dietary factors in preventing their formation.*
    - Nitrosamines, known carcinogens, form under specific conditions involving nitrites and secondary amines.
    - Vitamin C, polyphenols, and vitamin E effectively inhibit nitrosamine formation in the body, mitigating potential health risks.
    - Regulations and additives like erythorbate ensure the safety of nitrite-cured meats by preventing nitrosamine formation.
35:59 🥤 *Nitric oxide supplements: Arginine vs. Beetroot*
    - Arginine-based supplements flooded the market after the discovery of nitric oxide synthase, but clinical data showed negative effects, especially for patients with endothelial dysfunction.
    - Beetroot products gained popularity after the success of the UK Olympic team, but most commercially available products lack sufficient nitrate and nitrite to effectively increase nitric oxide levels.
    - Innovative approaches, like fermented beet powder, offer a reliable source of bioactive nitric oxide without dependence on individual gut bacteria or stomach acid.
39:03 🍬 *Novel nitric oxide delivery: Oral lozenges*
    - Oral lozenges provide an immediate and measurable increase in nitric oxide levels, offering systemic benefits within seconds of consumption.
    - These lozenges not only generate nitric oxide but also improve the body's ability to produce it, leading to sustained effects over several hours.
    - By targeting the oral microbiome and enhancing nitric oxide production, these lozenges offer a potential long-term solution for individuals with compromised nitric oxide synthesis.
41:48 💊 *Nitric oxide and hypertension: Oral dysbiosis and alternative treatments*
    - Hypertension can result from oral dysbiosis, and restoring the oral microbiome can lead to normalized blood pressure levels.
    - Conventional antihypertensive medications may not be effective for individuals with resistant hypertension, highlighting the importance of addressing underlying causes such as oral dysbiosis.
    - Lifestyle factors, including alcohol consumption and dietary choices, can impact the oral microbiome and, consequently, blood pressure regulation, emphasizing the interconnectedness of overall health and microbial balance.
50:35 🦠 *Nitric oxide and immune function: Implications for infection and inflammation*
    - Nitric oxide plays a crucial role in the immune response against pathogens by inhibiting bacterial respiration and viral replication.
    - Deficient nitric oxide production can increase susceptibility to infections like COVID-19, particularly in high-risk individuals with pre-existing conditions.
    - Robust nitric oxide production can mitigate inflammation and prevent the progression of infections, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for managing inflammatory diseases.
53:51 🩸 *Nitric oxide's role in inflammation and cardiovascular health,*
    - Nitric oxide reduces inflammatory response and C-reactive protein levels.
    - Microvascular inflammation precedes plaque development and cardiovascular events.
    - Inadequate nitric oxide may contribute to vascular inflammation observed in conditions like COVID-19.
55:30 ⚠️ *Risks associated with excessive nitric oxide levels,*
    - Excessive nitric oxide can lead to low blood pressure.
    - Conditions like postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) are not directly linked to nitric oxide overproduction.
56:12 🩸 *Misconceptions about nitric oxide and sepsis,*
    - Sepsis-induced hypotension is not solely attributed to nitric oxide overproduction.
    - Clinical trials using nitric oxide inhibitors for sepsis treatment resulted in unexpected adverse outcomes.
58:05 🩺 *Nitric oxide's impact on blood pressure regulation,*
    - Nitric oxide supplementation does not significantly affect blood pressure in individuals with normal or low levels.
    - Low blood pressure can be associated with hypothyroidism.
58:45 🍆 *Nitric oxide's role in sexual function,*
    - Nitric oxide promotes vasodilation, improving blood flow to sexual organs.
    - Nitric oxide supplementation can enhance erectile function.
    01:01:32 🚺 *Nitric oxide's relevance to women's sexual health,*
    - Nitric oxide plays a similar role in clitoral engorgement as it does in penile erection.
    - Maintaining healthy nitric oxide levels is beneficial for sexual function in both men and women.

Have breakfast then brush with flouride free toothpaste. Also, magnesium Glycinate helps to lower bp.....I know, it works wonderfully for me. It also helps with tinnitus as does raw garlic daily. Instead, we have this extraordinary biological system that is our body, that has the ability to self regulate and heal. Everyone needs to understand the science of our bodies, and mechanics of the processes. Dr Bryan knows the science, and his talk here was like a User Manual guide to the interconnected sub systems of our bodies. Really excellent.

Sorry your wife has a disease. I don't know what the cure is. Or if there is one. What I am saying is simply, the pharmaceutical industry sells formulas targeted at specific chronic conditions and their symptoms. They do not , as a rule in my experience, address the root causes of these conditions. Instead, the focus is on treating the symptoms. This approach can help many ppl, no doubt, but without addressing root causes, this method leaves other ppl with an on going, malady. Hence "there is no magic pill for every ill" expression. I am not saying it is the responsibility of pharmaceutical companies to cure chronic diseases. In many cases, e.g. type 2 diabetes, individuals can make enormous improvements by making lifestyle changes themselves. This is not easy or convenient or fast, but from my limited experience, can be immensely productive. Treating acute conditions is quite different. E.g. anti biotics for bacterial infections. Penicillin and subsequent new antibiotics have saved the lives of 10s of millions of ppl I'm sure worldwide. That's a conservative estimate im.sure. Could well be hundreds of millions, I don't know.

I was under the impression that a family doctors job is to slowly kill the patient, while extracting fiat currency from them for pharmaceutical companies.
It is a wonderful thing if you can find a really bad medical DOCTOR(commercial legal status), who practices healing instead of just medicines.
They can prescribe anti-biotics when there is that rare case you need them, and they can help you discover safe routes to better health.
I've never found such a doctor, but I gave up on them about 12 years ago, after trying to go to a good few different ones, and they all tried to kill me. Antacids(nexium) was one of the worst cases, and maybe Prozac a close second.
Honestly, watching videos like the above, reading up on symtpoms and anecdotes, trying these things as small tests, has improved my health and cured a lot of the issues all those doctors and professors could not even fathom at all.
As you can probably tell, i am most likely traumatized by doctors at this stage, but if you managed to find a good one, I'm very happy to hear that. It's really a rare thing in my country.

The marketing and consumption of alkaline beverages, I believe, has been unhealthy for the many who believe this. Real mineral salt, not table salt, is very good to ingest as it helps make stomach acid-hydrochloric acid to create pepsin which will then help work to digest proteins down to amino acids.

After millions of years of evolution we have arrived at this point in time. Every cell is programmed and working hard for health, except....you. Simply leaving your body alone and trusting it is almost fully automated for health(fasting and meditation). Going back and connect with nature.(walking). While eating things that actually look like natural food. It is not very complicated. Health is just a basic requirement of life. Have you considered the possibility the products are expensive because they actually contain what they say they contain and are expensive to manufacture as opposed to products that SAY they have something (sold cheap any ole place) but have little to NONE. The government agencies do NOT evaluate and regulate supplements. He’s not necessarily a rich dude, ripping off people. And, he is the one who has invested years of his life and brain power to learn, research and write. He’s sharing what he knows. It’s fine with me if he is well compensated.

This is great stuff. I was on antactids and PPEs for years because of stomach reflux but I quit because it felt like it was stripping my teeth somehow. Turns out all I had to do was to stop binge drinking and eat a bit less. Acid reflux cleared up in no time, it only comes back if I have a bit too much to drink on Christmas or whatever.

what were your symptoms - i struggle to breathe have a cough when i go to lie down - for years they said it was allergy which it obv was not. one doctor said reflux but i never had heartburn or anything. i refuse to take PPI

@ijustwannaleaveacommentony6511 I had something similar which they called non acid reflux. So my stomach was churning into my throat but it wasn't because of too much acid. It was in my case severe anxiety. It lasted for years until I gave up that job and alcohol.

      @almor2445 Год назад +3

@ijustwannaleaveacommentony6511 another possibility is dust or mold allergy but you've said it's not that. If I don't walk outside every day or if I drink anything, my chest hurts and I start coughing a little.

Incredibly relatable and understandable! Both Max Lugavere and Dr. Bryan are instrumental to make this discussion intelligible for US. Yes, it's an hour. It's fully worth it. Use your headset and minimize your distractions or you will lack continuity from the interview. Use rewind. It actually took me multiple rewinds to accommodate the info. Not an infomercial given value of info vs. product endorsement. Dr. Nathan Bryan presents in fully understandable terms and Max asks relevant and important questions. I appreciate the bit about alcohol consumption, which was bouncing in my head for most of the interview. I have subscribed here to Max, and will search the sub for the Dr. Thank you, Gentlemen.

My dentist prescribed me clorhexadine for gingivitis and an abscessed tooth. After listening to this I won’t use it anymore. I’m 55, I do a ton of walking, eat healthy, I’m not overweight, take 1 prescription drug and in general take pretty good care of myself. Yet, over the past year or two I have an overall malaise feeling. I’m tired a lot. My family think I’m nuts when I say it’s because I have receding gums, bone loss in my jaw and hairline cracks in my teeth. I believe issues stemming from a persons mouth can create havoc in the body.

Swishing activated charcoal with some water for 10 mins or so works to get rid of bad bacteria like streptococcus but leaves the good mostly alone - the bad bacteria and the charcoal are chemically attracted to each other but the good bacteria aren't.
