In total, I had roughly 2 total servings of these products across the four of them. My blood glucose moved only 14 points over the course of 2 hours, so pretty stable. Also, it's important to recognize the difference between fructooligosaccharides (which these products contain) and isomaltooligosaccharides. The former should not cause a blood glucose reaction, whereas the latter can cause a glucose reaction for A LOT of people.
Thank you for the extensive review! We typically use a little less of the coffee syrup around here at HQ, but we wanted to label the nutrition closer to if you like 2-3 pumps of coffee syrup in your morning coffee. I personally love to use it in a big jug of iced tea and this weekend I'm going to try making a cocktail with it! As for the caramels...we may have something coming out this year that'll have a balance of caramels, nuts, and chocolate that we haven't made before 👀
Fruity Magic spoon & the little protein puffs about 4:1 works for me in krispy squares. Unflavored Puffs balance the sweet cereal. Unfortunately, the bars are gone within 2-3 days...
Thank you for the review Steve. I really enjoy Terry's opinion as a non keto reviewer. You know keto food that really taste good and not just settling because it's keto.
I'm pre-diabetic and all of their products I tried spiked my glucose just as high and some even higher than their sugar counterparts. Pros: everything was delicious, no rotting of teeth. Good alternative for kids - Halloween, Easter, etc.
Based on the comments over the years, I’d estimate that probably 10-15% of people experience glucose spikes from ChocZero products. Fortunately, I don’t.
I am unfortunately one of the people for whom most ChocZero products spike my blood sugar to the moon, which bums me out because they’re sooo good! I was so excited about the caramels and I got some yesterday. I tried ONE this morning (I don’t usually eat candy in the morning but I really wanted to try it) after testing my fasting blood sugar (98) and after one hour, the ONE caramel spiked me to 139! Ugh. 😩
Just got my delivery of the s’mallows yesterday. Am looking forward to having the regular sized browned over a campfire. That will be my real test of it worthiness. 😋
The Choc Zero Danish cookies were yummy! My hubby and I finished the first tin and are waiting for our second tin we ordered. These cookies taste excellent in keto banana pudding.
Choc Zero makes the BEST keto sweets I’ve ever had. Everything I’ve had from them is just top notch. Their marshmallows even toast like real marshmallows, which I’ve never seen in a sugar-free marshmallow! I just wish they’d make some truly good salty snacks. I’m more of a salty girl than sweet, at least food wise. 😂 Most keto salty snacks either taste awful or have a disgusting, chalky texture. If anyone could get this right, Choc Zero can!
I purchased all but the syrup a few weeks ago and loved/ liked them all. I also wanted more butter flavor in the cookies. After 3 years on keto, the number of GOOD products coming out is exciting.
I LOVE the taste of ChocZero products, but they ALL cause a serious glucose spike-for me. (I wear a CGM-I am a pre-diabetic) I have to enjoy them in very small amounts. Their clean ingredients (no sugar alcohols) and delicious taste make them a real winner. They are a fabulous company to deal with and they have a great selection of products.
Steve, Alicia at keto upgrade has a great graham cracker (I made it without difficulty) Also, those marshmallows do come in a regular size. Hope that helps 😊
Yes, Keto Upgrade has a good graham cracker recipe as well as All Day I Dream About Food. I ended up going with All Day and used pecan flour instead of almond flour and they were great!
I have tried the bigger marshmallows, they are great! And they toast, although I haven’t been near a campfire yet! A couple of those cookies and some chocolate might make a s’more substitute! Thanks Steve! And Terri! 😊
I have all of these products & love them!! Their large marshmallows are the best!! I love to squish them in my mouth!! They melt & brown like regular ones only they taste better!!
I LOVE the caramels. I don’t enjoy the salting of sweets so to me they are perfect. I can’t tell that they’re sugar free at all. The cookies are a bit to light and fluffy to me but they would be good as a crumb topping or crumb base in a dessert cup or cheesecake. I haven’t tried the new marshmallows yet.
Though she spit out her marshmallow, I can verify that these marshmallows are phenomenal. I ordered them for my daughter's class what are the other classmates were making garbage friendship salad. It involved canned fruit, marshmallows and yogurt. I sent her to school with these marshmallows by CZ, ratio keto yogurt and frozen berries, it turned out great.
@@SeriousKetolearned that when we were working on a ready to drink version. We wanted to use butter for the fat but they had no idea how to use it in an industrial capacity. Then one said "get, can we use amf?" Like I would know what that is, googled it and duh, of course we should use that!
The word 'anhydrous' freaked me, being related in my mind to fertilizer, so I looked it up and turns out "A substance is anhydrous if it contains no water." Not so scary after all. Thanks for the review! I appreciate the way you explain all aspects of the products. The marshmallows roast real nice. Especially their big ones they have. I use those cookies as my graham cracker 😂 also Choc Zero Chips for my chocolate.
Thanks for the review. I had gastric bypass surgery so I need to watch my sugar but I love vanilla in my hot coffee. I ordered the syrup to try. I love that it has dietary fiber added.

Thanks for the keto and non-keto views on these products! I wonder how using a solid-shaped Danish cookie as the graham cracker would taste for a S'more. We use Girl Scout Trefoils interchangeably for grahams when they run out.
I like ChocZero marshmallows a lot, but I need to be careful not to eat too many. The unicorn ones they sold a while back are delicious for general eating. They do make larger white ones too. I wish I would have ordered those cookies with my last order. I liked the caramels a lot.
Thank you for the love! The marshmallows do contain a serving of fiber, which is good for keeping you full- but might be a change from some folks regular diet (especially on keto). I stick to about one serving a day, personally. The minis are my current favorite marshie 😋

I’ve been waiting forever for the Keto dark chocolate hot fudge sauce to come back…I’ll have to order several if it ever does.😉 Thanks for your review of these products.
I make Graham Cracker recipe from ALL DAY I DREAM ABOUT FOOD. Very yummy! when using for smores, I found it was better to have just 1 on the bottom with chocolate right on top of cracker for stability while biting and marshmallow on top of that, if i tried to add a second one on top then the top one crumbled and fell everywhere. We tried La Nouba and Max Mallow for sugar free marshmallows... one melted beyond usabilty, the other toasted perfectly... I wish I could remember which one worked! but La Nouba definitely works for rice crispy treats! haven't tried Max Mallow for r.c. treats yet...
Thank you for this review! Ive been dying to try their marshmallows and those cookies! I also saw on their Instagram that they'll be making "Lucky Charm" marshmallows!
Thank you for this review! I’m a HUGE fan of Choc Zero! They take such great care with how they ship their products. I’m currently waiting on two shipments from them, to include the marshmallows-which are supposed to arrive today. I absolutely love chocolate covered cherries and strawberries, so melting a serving of Choc Zero milk chocolate chips, in the microwave, then dipping fresh fruit into that melted chocolate is so decadent. I love their honey, their syrups, and their strawberry jam. I did not know that they had a tin of butter cookies. Guess what I’ll be ordering for my family! Thank you!!
Thank you for the love, Mindy!! Our butter cookies are our first try at making cookies....just wait until you see what we have in store later this year!
@@ChocZero …….oh my gosh! Of course! I BELIEVE in your products, 100%! I’m sooooo sad! You’re sold out of the butter cookies. I left my email address, so I could receive notification when they are available. I cannot wait to see what in store for the future! Oh…. My name is Mary. Mindy is my Chiweenie. 🥰
I really like their products as well, but have had the complete opposite experience with their shipping. The chocolates more often than not will arrive completely liquified (even with extra ice packs which are warm water by the time i get the package) and the cookie tin i just received the other day was crumbles and dust.
The Marshmellows, how do they roast??? I can make keto chocolate, keto graham crackers, but if I could get a good roasting marshmellow I could have my s'mores! Rarely have them if course. 😊
I think we can make keto caramel just like regular but with sweetener - we don't need all those other ingredients. But I have tried several of the products and have found them superior over other chocolates, marshmallows and jams that are considered Keto or Keto friendly. Thank you for reviewing these as I was thinking about getting some of the caramels and the syrup.
Thanks for the review. All items look tempting. Really interested in the vanilla flavoring for coffee. And also thanks for the update on your CGM blood glucose response. I have big problems with spikeswhen i try anything sweet...even keto products.
Thanks Steve and Terri! Alycia from Keto Upgrade has a great keto graham cracker recipe. Plus she also does a marshmallow dipping recipe to boot! She’s awesome 🤩
ChocZero does make a full sized marshmallows- they are about 1/2 size of standard marshmallows. if you are roasting, do over hot coals not flame (they burn easier than regular marshmallows). They puff up significantly and toast this way😊. My fiancé and I went camping and made “ketoesqe” s’mores (ChocZero marshmallow [9 marshmallows = 21 grams carbs and 20 grams fiber]- I used 4, 1 ChocZero milk chocolate square and 1 regular graham cracker (I have made keto graham crackers once but forgot the baking soda and they were very hard 😂- I will remake them correctly and let you know my opinion and share the recipe if they are good). I broke 1 graham cracker in 1/2, put 2 roasted marshmallows on the bottom cracker, 1 square of milk chocolate, 2 roasted marshmallows on top of chocolate and topped with other 1/2 of the cracker. Having the marshmallows on top and below the chocolate helped melt the chocolate- which tends to be a bit harder than regular milk chocolate. The net carbs would be much better with a keto graham cracker. Another option might be to use 2 of the ChocZero round Butter Cookies you reviewed in this video!
Thank you Steve! I love your reviews! I make most of my keto treats by hand just because of the price of the products. Occasionally it is nice to have them premade and your reviews help me decide if it is worth the splurge!!
Now I know what my husband can bring me back from USA next month on his business trip Smallows .... I have some keto cereal that I can use to make a faux rice crispies squares.
I made marshmallow treats with these marshmallows and they are amazing. I tried it with the Magic Spoon and the Catalina Crunch, the Magic Spoon was far superior and extremely delicious, even those NON Keto eaters in the family couldn't tell the difference. The Catalina Crunch was much more dense and hard to eat. We liked the cookies as well but because they don't have the sugar crystals on top it takes a bit away from the kind you get during Christmas but a really good substitute but 4 isn't enough for most people so it won't be something I buy regularly.
Hi Steve! Have you compared the chocolate chips from Choc Zero vs Lily’s. I have baked with Lily’s chocolate chips( dark, caramel and white). They bake melt through totally. I hand applied the chips on top before bake. They are the only ones retain their shapes. Unfortunately, I have quite a few bags in stock. Once finished, I’m thinking of giving Choc Zero chips ago. What do you think? Much obliged!
Thank you both for the review. I saw the marshmallows and caramels when I looked at their website yesterday. They do have big marshmallows too. I have not found a graham cracker recipe I like yet . I've also tried some keto graham crackers that I ordered but none have impressed me. I would love to make s'mores. Looking forward to trying the marshmallows in hot chocolate! Steve where do you get Ketobar hot chocolate? I'm not finding that name as a brand.
Hi Steve, thank you for the review. I tried all these products before your review and they all taste amazing, I agree. I also had a feeling that I will eat the whole box of those cookies in one go but I was full after 3 cookies. They are very reach and you get full fast. And about the smallows. I actually tried them over a camp fire and they tasted the best this way.
Thanks for indicating ingredients, though you said not to be in Ingredient Police I do think chemical and preservatives alternatives to regular sugar are not a great idea.
Seems to me a while back I had the big choc zero marshmallows... it sounds like they have tweaked the recipe because the texture was tough in comparison to regular marshmallows and they did not melt when I put them in hot chocolate - yay for the good review today! I have been searching for keto Graham crackers... was just searching last night - so far- nothing ... ( I just want them for cheesecake crust .. although my almond flour and coconut crust is good )- Thanks for the testing! Have a great rest of the week and coming weekend!
I have used the magic spoon frosted flavor which turned out pretty well. Just be careful not to crush/chop the pieces too small as the bars will end up very dense.
I count net carbs. I never had the mini ones. I love the s’mallowes. They are better then the first choc zero marshmallows as texture is softer. All are wonderful. I forgot to mention I also bought the unicorn s’mallows. They are all missing the powdered sugar so I put a tablespoon of swerve confectioners in the package. They sort of melt in sugar free hot chocolate. I will have to get the minis for that. I also bought the cookies and they have a softer texture then the real sugared cookies. The taste is very similar. I put a tiny bit of butter on them as they are dry. I love them. I must buy the caramels as I love the chew of caramels. Thanks for the review.
I LOVE their s'Mallows, liked the large ones better, but they weren't on the page last time I ordered, do make some bars, please, have supplies from the last time you did so.
I enjoy watching your reviews for Choc zero, I order there products a lot, I ate one whole tin of the cookies by myself, in about 2 weeks , I haven’t found anything I don’t like from Choc zero, I really like there dark hot cocoa, and there unicorn s’mallows are very good also, I’d like to make rice crispy treats also I can’t find anything to substitute rice crispy for, do you have a suggestion for rice crispy treats? For me Choc zero is the best I’ve found in keto sweets Thank you for all your reviews
Promix Nutrition makes some protein puffs that I've used in various recipes. I'll likely try those. Here's one such video: ruclips.net/video/-aSetDVASHk/видео.html
Great video! With the discussion on sweeteners here, does anyone have info on tagatose? If I have the correct spelling. just recently heard about this new sweetener, but there doesn't seem to be much information about it.
I love their stuff do much. Regretfully I get a sharp rise in blood glucose from their products (like jumping above 200). Glad your aren’t reacting to their ingredients.
Really enjoying the syrup and the cookies. But down here in the south it is far too hot for me to risk ordering any of their melty-er stuff; even with the insulation and cold packs it just doesn't hold up. Will have to wait till fall. Thanks for posting.
Yeah, they've shipped me stuff in an insulated package with ice packs and it's still warm by the time it gets to me. That's also why I warn against ordering Perfect Keto bars in the summer, as the MCT oil separates out of them in the heat and the texture gets pretty unpleasant.
Yeah I don't order chocolate products from them during the summer months. Even when I pay for the extra ice packs the Chocolate is always melted. I'm in the Midwest and won't order chocolate until at least October or later.
I order choc zero all the time. The cold packing really makes a difference. I have only had a little melting in the chocolates once and it was over 115 degrees here in Las Vegas at the time. My whole family loves them and is always very excited when we get a new order!
@@vegaspassos I live in Kansas and since I believe that the product ships from California it takes an extra day or 2 before it arrives at my house. My chocolate is totally melted and in a glib when it arrives at my house so temperature isn't the only issue. Location is as well.
I had tried the first batch of large sized choczero marshmallows, tasted great but my stomach didn't like them.😢 However, I believe they changed their recipe I'm just hesitant to try them again. I have Carolyn's all day I dream about food baking cookbook. She has a graham cracker recipe, I have not made them.
I was mostly drinking the Mexican Chocolate flavor of Perfect Keto's Beauty+Sleep collagen. But that's pretty expensive as a hot cocoa substitute, and I'm not sure if they're still making it.
I feel like I explain this to some degree in every ChocZero video. Though ChocZero products do not cause me to have a glucose spike, I would estimate that it does cause spikes in 10-15% of people (based on comments on my videos). I feel that showing my non-spike results could cause people to feel that I'm misleading them. I also don't bother showing glucose results on products/ingredients that I've used repeatedly and have never caused a spike. I'll show the results on new products (or new to me). Rest assured that if I ever have a spike from a product/ingredient, I'll let people know.
If “palm oil” is listed in the ingredients, is there a way for us to differentiate whether it is “palm fruit oil” or “palm kernel/seed oil” or is “palm oil” just synonymous with “palm fruit oil”?
I habe control issues with most of choczero's products and have gained almost 40lbs back because of that. Their white chocolate hazelnut bark is my favorite and I'm thankful i can't find that iin stores. Although i find the milk chocolate hazelnut bark at my walmart for much cheaper than i can buy it from them directly. Anyway, their bark never gives me GI upset. However, The marshmallows, caramels and spreads do, even after 1 serving..so I've stopped buying those. Their honey is fantastic. I also find there there is hardly any salt flavor to be found on those caramels
In total, I had roughly 2 total servings of these products across the four of them. My blood glucose moved only 14 points over the course of 2 hours, so pretty stable.

I really like their products as well, but have had the complete opposite experience with their shipping. The chocolates more often than not will arrive completely liquified (even with extra ice packs which are warm water by the time i get the package) and the cookie tin i just received the other day was crumbles and dust.
Enjoyed Terry and your review of these products. Have a great rest of your weekend and holiday. Thank you.
The Marshmellows, how do they roast??? I can make keto chocolate, keto graham crackers, but if I could get a good roasting marshmellow I could have my s'mores! Rarely have them if course. 😊
Choc zero is an awesome company. For all those who still love sweetness they make keto sustainable. Like me! Thanks for the great review with Teri.
Thank you for the love!
Choczero always has great products but I have a hard time controlling myself around them.
A few of them are definitely a slippery slope (especially the chocolate covered almonds for me).
ChocZero does have the larger marshmallows. They are excellent!
I like to dip the butter cookies in their various spreads
Yum
Thanks Steve and Terri! Alycia from Keto Upgrade has a great keto graham cracker recipe. Plus she also does a marshmallow dipping recipe to boot! She’s awesome 🤩
She sure is.
Thank you for the review. I have been eyeing the cookies. I have the large smarsh mellows from choc zero.
Cookies might be a great pan dessert base!
Thanks for sharing Steve and Terry! I've been SO curious about the butter cookies!?! And those marshmallows 😋 👍 Have a blessed week 💜🙏✌️🌞💐🎶
Hey Steve! Alycia from Keto Upgrade has a graham cracker recipe and so does All Day I Dream About Food.
All day I dream about food has an awesome graham cracker recipe I start with that and add some ooo graham cracker flavor drops and talk about yummy!
I had their cookies
It's made with coconut flour and it actually tastes good with much lower sugar.
I've been waiting for this review. Thank you!
Now I know what my husband can bring me back from USA next month on his business trip
Smallows ....
Good to know. Thanks for sharing.
Carolyn Ketchum has a graham cracker recipe, but I have not tried it.
Yes they have big ones. They are delicious. My son (9 years old) loves them.
I've had viewers say that there are good ones both by Keto Upgrade and All Day I Dream About Food.
These look amazing. Thanks for the review, Steve! Nice to know lots of options are opening up.
Your channel is fabulous! Thank you so much. I’m new to low carb/keto and your channel has been so helpful. ❤️😁🌹
( I just want them for cheesecake crust .. although my almond flour and coconut crust is good )-
Thanks for the testing! Have a great rest of the week and coming weekend!
What cereal do you use to make the Rice Krispies treats? That would be wonderful to make again!!
I actually use the Promix Nutrition protein puffs - the same ones I use in the crunch bar videos I have.
Here's a link: amzn.to/3D5qDfV
Thank you for your quick response!!
I have used the magic spoon frosted flavor which turned out pretty well. Just be careful not to crush/chop the pieces too small as the bars will end up very dense.
I've been buying the large marshmallows since they came out and yes you can roast them on an open fire.
The marshmallows have my interest. I love a hot cocoa before going nighty night.
Teri looks great! ❤
Definitely gonna get the
Salted caramels😊
I enjoy watching your reviews for Choc zero, I order there products a lot, I ate one whole tin of the cookies by myself, in about 2 weeks , I haven’t found anything I don’t like from Choc zero,
I really like there dark hot cocoa, and there unicorn s’mallows are very good also,
I’d like to make rice crispy treats also I can’t find anything to substitute rice crispy for, do you have a suggestion for rice crispy treats?
For me Choc zero is the best I’ve found in keto sweets
Thank you for all your reviews
Promix Nutrition makes some protein puffs that I've used in various recipes. I'll likely try those. Here's one such video: ruclips.net/video/-aSetDVASHk/видео.html
Carolyn Ketchum has Graham cracker recipe!
I wonder if you could take the marshmallows the cookies and some chocolate make a s'mores.
maybe...
Protein puff’s?
All day I dream about food has a great graham cracker recipe. Delicious 😋
Great video! With the discussion on sweeteners here, does anyone have info on tagatose? If I have the correct spelling. just recently heard about this new sweetener, but there doesn't seem to be much information about it.
I've heard of it, but not used it myself.
I hear a Thumper!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the informative comments on here as much as the video!! And ChocZero responses are the topping on the cake! Pun intended
Haven’t tried them yet but “all day I dream about food” has a recipe for grahams.
Looks like keto bars don't make that hot cocoa anymore. Do you have another alternative brand that you like?
I was mostly drinking the Mexican Chocolate flavor of Perfect Keto's Beauty+Sleep collagen. But that's pretty expensive as a hot cocoa substitute, and I'm not sure if they're still making it.
@@SeriousKeto It appears they do, any other hot cocoas options you approve of?
@@ctguitarguy8510 I honestly haven't tried any others.
Where is the glucose test?
I feel like I explain this to some degree in every ChocZero video. Though ChocZero products do not cause me to have a glucose spike, I would estimate that it does cause spikes in 10-15% of people (based on comments on my videos). I feel that showing my non-spike results could cause people to feel that I'm misleading them.
I also don't bother showing glucose results on products/ingredients that I've used repeatedly and have never caused a spike. I'll show the results on new products (or new to me). Rest assured that if I ever have a spike from a product/ingredient, I'll let people know.
@@SeriousKeto OK, understood. 👍
I am so making s'mores with those marshmallows and the graham cracker recipe already posted.
If “palm oil” is listed in the ingredients, is there a way for us to differentiate whether it is “palm fruit oil” or “palm kernel/seed oil” or is “palm oil” just synonymous with “palm fruit oil”?
Based on my research, palm seed/kernel oil must be labeled as such.
How about the butter cookies to make S'mores?
Where do you get the Ketobars hot chocolate? It's my favorite and I haven't been able to get it 😔
It's a pretty old bag. I'm guessing it's past it's "best by" date, but it still tasted fine.
@@SeriousKeto It's the best one I've found, wish they made it still!
Great review.., as always...just went to grab those cookies, they are already sold out...
I got my cookies today. You are right it is a slippery slope I ate several in no time flat. 😮
I wasn’t joking. 😉
They do have full size marshmallows 😊
I'm going to have to order some.
