The 70's were a Golden period for Comedy Sitcoms
I remember thinking at the time that it didn`t make sense if Eddy hated Bill that he`d be willing to dance naked around a tree just so that he`d feel better. They just liked getting on each others last nerve but they were good friends underneath all of it. I looked up the cast and was sorry to see that Eddy died last February but all the rest of the lead actors are still alive and kicking and into their 80`s.
Thank you so much for reacting to these. Back in the day, it was comedy. It shows how good friends they all are, some words are old fashioned terms but were not meant to be offensive.
You're a pleasure to watch ❤
Takes me back to my childhood when I first saw that episode. There was nothing nasty intended in the programme. It's always Eddie that comes out worse. Good on you for watching it and seeing it for what it was, a bit of fun.
OMG I got tears in eyes from laughing 😂😂😂 I think this was one of my favourites 👍🤣🤣🤣 thanks for cheering my evenings up 🤣
They were all good friends offscreen and had a blast filming it. Rudolph walker who played Bill got a CBE. The only one of the 3
This is British comedy at its best. And thank for your reaction- you have the humour I love
I like this episode as it highlights Eddie does care about Bill
I think your reaction to this comedy is amazing.x
am enjoying watching them with you, your reactions are great.
I'm so glad!
One of my favourite episodes..... you like eddy.... you'll love Rigsby (rising damp) shalom brother
There is an episode called "The Royal Connection" that is absolutely hilarious as the British would say "it's a hoot"❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I remember the 70s well and there's one detail that might be missed by modern audiences: At that time there were very few black players in top-flight football. The exception was Clyde Best, a Bermudan who played for West Ham. It makes sense that Bill might be attracted to that team. (Though in another episode he says he's a Chelsea fan, which also makes sense. It's not over-stressed in the scripts but Eddie is not only annoyed by his neighbour being a black man, but also he is an aspirational black man - Tory voting, smart clothes, beautiful wife and then Chelsea supporter). Thanks for reminding me about this relic from my youth.
These shows were everywhere in the old days.
Nobody cared about it.
We all took the piss out of each other.
Time was fun.
None of the crap like oh you can't say this you can't say that.
Thanks for the voodoo episode.
I love how Bill always comes out on top. 😀
This is such a good episode from a great classic sitcom. Lovable characters & very funny. xx
I’ve been watching your reactions to this show and been laughing along with you. You have an addictive laugh.
When you run out of episodes, look out for Rising Damp.
Keep the videos coming

He done him up like a kipper!
{:o:O:}
Please watch The Thin Blue Line ( british sitcom)
Thats the best episode of that I have seen.
I`m 60 years old ( last year, November ). I grew up in a small town in North Lincolnshire - population then `about 5 thousand. It was the talk of the town when a black chap arrived...
I sense that I was taught to fear them and distrust them. Alas such nonsense still drives the world today, in all sorts of directions.
I don't think Eddy cared about Bill. He was worried he'd be charged with manslaughter after his mates wound him up.
{:o:O:}
I think the first part of the episode shows that it's not just racism that's the issue. It's xenophobia.
Love these reviews on theses shows just to let you there is love thy neighbour in Australia show to
Great to see you enjoy this so much.😊
Glad you enjoyed it brother , it’s just a comedy show . It’s ok if people think it’s not funny , there are plenty of other unfunny comedy shows to choose from .
It is good to laugh & I was in stitches watching your reactions Thank You young man
if you can find it you need to watch Desmonds, another brit tv classic, came later, 80s/90s, its fucking funny.
Yes that was a great show
Thanks for posting. Hilarious esp the bit dancing naked
So funny. 😂😂
This harks back to an era when we all used to have a sense of humour and satire was king.
Unfortunately today's generation appear to have lost that ability and try their best to demonise our generation but fail at every attempt 🤣
Your best so far🤣
When I learnt 2 years into a relationship with my ex that this was her favourite program. I had to dump her! She had the DVD boxset!!!!! WTF?
Loved your reaction my friend😅
Thank you so much 😁
Please react to the episodes called "power cut." And "ghost" they're absolutely hilarious ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yes, and another viewer had left a similar comment as well.
Now I see that another comment has vanished.

I am SO PLEASED. AT LAST...SOMEBODY "GETS IT," ABOUT THIS CLASSIC COMEDY. Your comment at the end of "Eddie really likes Bill", is something I've said for years. It's also vice-versa, in Bill liking Eddie. It also shows racism, prejudice and bigotry, for what it really is..."stupid." In this series, the racist remarks came from BOTH sides, both Bill and Eddie. Also, Bill was "never the victim" in this, and he could give out as much as he got thrown at him. I'm glad you find it as funny as I do. The ones that say that this programme is "racist," are the exact same ones that see and accuse it at EVERYTHING and EVERYONE as being so these days, if it doesn't fit in with their agenda. To me, THEY are the ones who ARE THE RACISTS. Because you understood this for what this programme is really all about, (a bloody funny comedy series) with the "hidden messages" in it, you have just gained a new subscriber to your channel. I'm glad you find it as funny as I do.
You no despite the banter name calling there always popping into each others houses going for a pint or two together real mates if you no what I mean
Exactly! Haha
Dear dear What pis* And the Brexit waker's wish it was back
Regardless of what skin colour you are this was funny. It is a shame that comedies like this can never be made again because of WOKE foolishness.
YOU AND I WOULD BE GOOD FRIENDS SHOULD WE EVER MEET, YOU HAVE A DEEPLY BRITISH SENSE OF HUMOUR .... OUR GREATEST WEAPON AGAINST RACISM ..... PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU SHADY.
my dad first told me bout this show and episode it was long off the air by then, i youtubed it and i nearly wet myself laughing especially when edie dances around that bloody tree stark naked, and the copper is the ARP warden from dads army another great show
The good old days before you and your refugee brothers and sisters swapped the UK
so called shady is pretending to like it so he can gain more followers and subscribers
