Just come across this, I must say as a White person how surprised I was that you enjoyed it, obviously you know it will never be repeated on TV due to it being politically incorrect but saying that the Black guy always got his own back on the White guy so it was kind of equal, I will say that I wouldn't bother being called a White Honky it doesn't offend me, Love Thy Neighbour was totally different to the Alf Garnett stuff as that was one sided but that is shown on TV but 'certain' words are bleeped out
Honestly i asked my dad in the 60s why were black people brilliant runners dad's answer was listen if you lived in the bloody jungle with lions and other animals you would be a bloody good runner but honestly where we came from it never crossed our minds regarding colour we were all in the same boat poor

This show was about as funny as having your last poo shoved back up when it was cold, and time has not done it any favours, even the actors distanced themselves from it through the years, and nor because of any racisum either, but because it was just a pile of plain old poo, it was basically ITV trying to make their own "till death do us part", but with bad writers.
Bit harsh lighten up bro,the writers were trying to portray the ridiculousness of stereotypes possibly like yourself who isn't intelligent too realise.
