engineering tinkers in cataclysm do not count as an enchant, you can double up an item, like a cloak with an enchant and the engi tinker, so it makes the item much stronger having that duality.
yep, but they aren't usable in rated PvP, and the glove tinker is the main "enchant" bonus
engi very good for spriest imo cuz you can dark arc every 90 sec, so trinket for one, gloves for the other when trinket isnt quite up
As Unholy DK. Which profession is best for pvp? I was thinking Engineering and Tailoring. Tailoring for the damage boost for snapshotting is good, no?
Tailoring is great, Engineering not so much since you can’t benefit from your dps on-use trinket and your glove enchant both at the same time, you might consider some other crafting profession with a +80 to your main stat bonus to align better with your Gargoyle, but I would go Eng anyway for BGs and world PvP

Hey man! Off topic question for this video, do you think it's worth investing time into Ret/DK or Ret/hunter for 2s? I just main swapped to ret & have been playing it on whitemane. Not sure which comp me and my duo should focus on though.
They are both some of the best 2v2 comps in Cata, you wouldn’t go wrong with any of those
What 2 would be best for Holy Paladin PvP in your opinion?
I would just go with the baseline +80 intelect for healers (except r sham), so anything like BS, JWC, INSC, LW

herb/alchem is so good early on if you plan to play classic, i always liked farming that vile of sand mount early on fresh cata progression servers, the haste buff on casters from herb pretty decent at the start. Alchem just fun for me, later I always go Blacksmith/JC or eni/tailoring
all the grindy stuff will be worth it on cata classic since it will stay up perm basically, classic came out 2019, we are in 2023 almost 2024 and its still going.
oh yeah and you also get a 359ilvl trinket with Alchemy much like the head from Engineering, forgot to mention that
@@MEYTRIX also we got some updates on release dates, it does look like cata will be summer or juneish,
latest interview they did said Ruby sanct won't be released till early 2024, we got a long phase 4 ahead of us.
good chance cata will be on PTR next year around april.
long phase 4 while people play vanilla+ that comes out late this month.
@@Dreamonology I wasn’t even expecting Ruby Sanctum before 2024, ICC was only launched last month and it’s already almost the end of 2023, but I don’t think RS would last long, so with RS opened in February, April or May could be for Cata Classic realistically 🤔

My main question for Cata engineering is: Do perks like Nitro Boosts count as an enchant, or I can use both boot enchant + the nitro boosts perk? In wotlk I think you could only use on or the other. Hope this has changed in Cata. Looking forward to the xpac pvp looks really amazing.
Nitro boosts is for belt and yes, you can still use your Belt Buckle with it, Nitro is not usable in rated PvP

i dont about nitro boots in cata but in wotlk, they are highly recommended / required in hc guilds ... And you didnt mention them, only for PVP ...can u use nitro boots from ENG also in raids ? or not anymore ?
You can, but they have fairly high failure rate and will put a nasty DoT effect on you. I'd go with the shield for the belt tinker, gives 18k absorb for 8 seconds on 5 min cd
oh, so its different nitro than the one from Wotlk ...also , i guess you cant have both ?belt and boots enchant @@BamsenSlagbjorn
@@SyleionTinkers go on either hands or waist in Cata. On-use that gives stat is on hands, Nitro boosts or 18k absorb on waist. Tinker is different from enchants and you can have both enchant and tinker on the same item.
Is there any benefit to Alchemy in PvP? Arenas specifically.
Gives you the same +80 main stat bonus as most other crafting professions, and you also get a 359ilvl trinket - rly good during the first season

Druid easily the best by far
Yea you forgot leatherworking being number one for agi classes...EDIT; Yeah I knew overall It gave more agi I just couldn't remember how to explain it.
Doesn’t matter, you get the same amount of agility (+80) from all the other crafting profession
@@MEYTRIX I was more referring to the agility you can put on bracers which is unique to leather working. Which is huge for rogue/hunter. Agi stat goes hard in cats.
@@anomalyevolution40 you can do the same with the other crafting professions, just put the enchantment/gems on other pieces and get the same benefit
@@MEYTRIX I'm not so sure about that. We're talking about the only way to get 130 extra agi enchantment on bracers is to take leather working. Without it your next best bet is just 65 haste on bracers. How do you make up for 130 agi using other professions?

You can get all secondary professions, so no need to rate them, but First Aid can be super helpful if used at the right time and is also very easy to skill

Hey, many classes can just go full PvP, it’s not mandatory to have any PvE on Cata, but it can help, especially having PvE trinket from Firelands for casters, and Dragon Soul trinkets, classes like rogue, mage, feral, these usually wanna have at least a few PvE items, and then ofc the legendary staff and daggers
ima just run engi and tailor on dk dps

most ppl go for BS+JWC as the safe choice, you can still go ENG especially for BGs and outside PvP, and you also have that Tailoring proc similar to Cata

@@MEYTRIX I would argue about tailoring, for pvp sub rogue having uncontrolled proc is much worse then clear stats which JWC/BS gives you
Na tailoring have BEST bonus PvP, and Rogue always start full combo is really high damage. And enge is good for the second combo after 30 sec.

nope, no NA Cata servers that I know of, and definitely not any good, but for example Twinstar Apollo/Athena has different realmlists for various regions so the latency might not be as bad as somewhere else
and in pvp as BGer for sure all class must have eng. if you ask me...especially the one that cannot fly or res.

@@boriskaragiannis 4k pop minimum every evening, the instant game mode is connected with Maelstrom, so there's more than enough people to play with

hey, you can make gold with any profession pretty much, gathering professions are the safest route, but you can also go Alchemy for transmute, for instance, and you can make gold in Tol Barad doing dailies, or you can do raids and farm BoEs, you can also check a video on gold farming by Sanmedina

Anything that gives you +80 int which is every profession besides gathering profs, Tail and Eng, you could also go Eng and use the glove enchant and pair it up with some of your CDs for more healing
