I must describe the first time that I ever saw this man to you. I was Nelson Ledges Rock Quarry in Ohio. (an amazing venue for a music festival) God only knows how much alcohol I had consumed, someone had just dropped acid on my tongue, and as I saw him come on stage not knowing what to expect he started playing and I swear I melted in the spot I was standing in. It was like whatever was going on in that moment around me completely stopped and it was just me and a man with a big bucket on his head shredding a guitar hovering around me. At that moment in 2006 I fell in love with everything about this guy. Thanks for reading.

Some of the most ignorant comments a person can make are "This music has no soul" or "This is easy to make" or whatever. If you think a song has no soul, it's because you personally have no feelings towards the music. There's no such thing as objective "soul" to music, it's just what emotions you personally feel towards it. You don't feel anything because of this song? Sucks to be you. As for trying to criticize the difficulty of making a song; if it's so easy, why haven't you written any songs? You don't have the credibility to judge the difficulty of an action you can't even come close to emulating.
People must judge Buckethead from the Jordan riff. They heard it on Guitar Hero and that's what they're basing their opinion on. Anyone tell me from 5:00 onwards there's no soul. If there's no soul there, then by that logic no guitarist has soul, it's just scales.
Filipe Amaral I find Brians music to be very "soul" full. Sad for other fools. Scales are just patterns, but they way an artist interprets them is the key.

True
Everytime I see Buckethead I can't stop thinking that he overcame his "social awkwardness" by embracing all of his weirdness; Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I experience it.
The pain in this music can be felt by anyone who listens to it.... so much pain ..i aways end up in tears ...wow
@@TWSMandelker the best way to put it ...
Agree
The way he plays full of passion. Persuading your senses, creating an atmosphere so Sweet. You are falling in love. You are not even listening when he touch the strings. All the World bécame pure love and peace. We miss the Bucket soooo much 🙏🏻😢🙌🏻🥰🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sorrow and pain: Big b. Big❤
i heared this track in 2008 and It changes my Life.
im not gonna lie.
Even if he wears a mask, i can clearly see that he's enjoying playing.
By the way his skills are amazing, one of the best guitarist!
Que música linda ! 👐💙
certa vez eu ouvi um grande maestro dizer que : A música é a prova que Deus existe !
E o próprio Deus desceu em forma de Buckethead pra tocar, pq o sentimento que esse cara coloca na música é fora do comum

Muy buen riff ahí.
that moment shocked me. honestly, he should've proceed doing this stuff
Always has been my favorite part. Great song.
my favourite part of the video xD
2019 !!!! Es un mounstro sin comparacion no existe banda que pueda estar a tu nivel
His strap is twisted. Is it a personal preference? Does he get his magical shredding abilities from that? Did he not notice? The world may never know.
No peripheral vision
Ladies and Gentleman i think we have found the Greatest Guitarist of all time.
9 mins goes by so fast when hes playing
Got this son of a bitch stuck in my head and in my blood. It's almost as bad as heroin.
Buckethead are 20.000 years ahead slash
Maybe but can't really be compared
+jonatan frantzen Kind of can. He was a temporary replacement for Slash in G'n'R. He's more emotive than Slash, sure Slash can go fast but so can BH and BH just has a little more emotion.
+Andrew Ince well imo bh dident fit gnr.
He was way to good to be wasted with Axl Rose.
+Andrew Ince You're right. And about the emotion issue, buckethead is 40.000 years ahead rsrs.
Wow Michael Myers is a beast on the guitar. ;P
look at his fingers! look!
On the eighth day Buckethead allowed slash to play his guitar
This is probably one of the most emotional and technical by Bucket !! Congratulations from France !
Fun fact, this guy released over 100 fucking full length albums in 2015. What a fucking talented madman.
Saurav Sharma quantity over quality meh
net x But still dude, over a hundred fucking albums in one year that's crazy
Saurav Sharma that's around 3 and a half albums a day. how is that possible?
Will Roth Do you even math bro? That's about one album every 3 and a half days, not 3 and a half albums every day.
I would be screaming the lyrics to Soothsayer if I was in that crowd.
People split into 2 groups. One agrees that Buckethead is the greatest underappreciated guitar talent world has ever seen, and second is just wrong.
Paul Gilbert and Brian Carroll (buckethead) must be related haha. They Both sound the same when they shred. Sometimes I think that Paul Gilbert IS buckethead.
Paul Gilbert was Buckethead's teacher! :D
Después de Jimmy Hendrix él sin dudarlo el segundo mejor gracias buckethead por tu maravilloso trabajo 😍
A mí me gusta más BH que JH, para qué engañarte.
