CSGuitars Am I the only one who upon getting wind of this amp. Wanted to do nothing more than play the theme to fistful of dollars or Rumble by Link Wray?
Really dig those P90's on this one. Love your channel bro! Scott blooded American here. Scotland Forever! Cheers!
that is beautifully smooth just like you Colin
I know it sounds great, but is it heavier then steel? 'Cus steel is heavier than feathers.
Ohhh that Hendrix tone 😍
Wow! You got some great guitars now, are you still building your own?
Due to my current living situation I am unable to build guitars. It's not that I don't want to, just that I can't
@@ScienceofLoud hope it'll get better
Pro tip. When buying an orange amp, order a fender foot switch off eBay. The single throw fender is about 19 dollars shipped or 15 pounds. I bought the foot switch from orange for my rocker 32 and for 1100, it could have come with a switch. Also, the bleedin orange switches come sans cable, so there's another expense.
I envy you Colin, you're getting free stuff from Orange. The Orange gear in my posession are a micro dark and a 1x8 cabinet.
I don't get free stuff. All the gear goes back, but it is nice to get to play with it for a while.
I do however get paid for my time, as you can't pay the electricity company in free amplifiers.
Here here for the 1x8 Orange cab club!
@@ScienceofLoud Ah right. It must be pretty sick to have a special relationship with an amp manufacturer though
Orange are just as strange and disturbed as I am, which is a big part of why I love them.
Och, a sweet sounding amp. A GOOD alternative to the other big 30W the AC! Could have a bit more top end sparkle, but a different speaker could change that! It will crunch up at full volume but not much! It does stay clean pretty much all the way up! A GREAT pedal platform!
I think I’m gonna get this amp.
Lol the end felt like Begbie was hitting on me. Nice review. I own this amp, had a look inside. Less nice looking, but still quality.
My only problem with orange amps is that it's really hard to tell exactly what you're getting by looking at it or reading the name. Their amps all kind of look the same and have nondescript names. I guess a lot of other vendors have a similar problem but Orange are so consistent with their aesthetics that it's very difficult to know what to expect.
Even tho it is meant to be a low gain, rock amp, I still wish you would have thrown the G3 on it, or any high gain pedal for that matter. Just to see what would happen . Being the setup of the speaker and solid construction ect, It's easy to assume that it could produce an equally good metal tone 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Interesting enough "la voce" is Italian for "the voice" or, in Latin, "vox"
Liked before watching!
Bad ass forbidden planet poster !
even though its switchable i wish they made a 15 watt one.
Just for price?
LandoCowDelicion yes.

Hey maybe a video on how Reverb works on amps?
How does it stand next to the Fender ‘65 Deluxe Reverb?
Damn why cant i afford ALL the gear😭
Alright, i'll do it...
"But where's all the gain ???!!"
Joke aside, really good tones, though i'm not a big fan of the strong tremolos.
Oh c'mon... "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"... it wouldn't be as cool without that tremolo effect... :-O
Using the tremolo dialed back to just give a "shimmer" to the notes is where it's at. Most people don't dime their reverb either
So with this, as well as the pedal baby, not including mid controls am I safe to assume that the mids are set to flat? Great video by the way!
I don't think so, most amps tweak the eq to get their sound. The pedal baby is an exception, it was made to be transparent, for people who get their tone from pedals exclusively
Next is the Donny T signature amp, the Orange Slumlord 45.
Gotta say I wasn't too big on that trem sound. Was it just your settings (no offense) or does the trem really cut the sound that hard all the time? Nevertheless a great video and a cool amp
Alright Colin I got a TATA for you, cab simulators, what do the knobs do and do I need when silently playing with headphones?
Hi, i like your videos a lot. If i close my eyes i get confused, i cant notice if i am looking to a motor week review or a guitar review. Jajajaja.
That's a pretty guitar
Which one? They are all pretty.
Wait a minute, is this a guitar amp, or a recent vintage from the Sonoma Valley?
"......a delightfully smooth character."
Nice tones :^)
1.199 €, dosent come with footswitch, and 24kg.... cant see why would you buy this over a Deluxe Reverb, Vox AC15/30 or even a Hot Rod Deluxe......plus ive never heard and Orange amp that sound brilliant....not for me.
This is £999 in the UK, same price as a Supro Dualtone but with more features. The 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue now costs nearly £1400.
A pair of Orange footswitches (single and double) for the three footswitchable functions will cost about £60.
Plus you get an effects loop and various output power options that make this more versatile than a DRRI.
Slightly overpriced for a Far Eastern built amp? Possibly. But it is competitive in today's amp market, at least in the UK. I'm not in the market for something like this but if I were I'd shortlist it.
I take it this amp is based on circuit boards and not hand wired / point to point???
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is the sound at 1:21 without any effects? Sounds really nice and smooth but still clean.
The only effects on that section are the built in tremolo and reverb.
Oh and a little touch of Target Mids to emphasise the upper mids.
Thanks for the review! Does the tremolo circuit work at all without the foot switch? I get that the 2nd speed won’t engage without a switch but wondering if you can still use the tremolo without a switch?
Yes, it can be controlled with the depth and speed knobs on the amp, just unable to switch between the two speeds without the footswitch.
I didn't have the footswitch for this review, as you can hopefully hear I didn't have any problems operating the tremolo.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😎
what do you suggest between this amp and a fender 68 cdr?
Hey Colin what set up are you using for video production ?
Maybe I will show this in a video soon.
Do you think you might need a little more Reverb?? LOL🤣🤣🤣
Cool amp but where is the speaker made?
It's Italian designed.
CSGuitars ah ok. Judging by the amp being made in China I’m guessing it’s also Chinese made?

yar bloody accent, vairly naise review
But can it Djent?
THE ONE DAMN QUESTION IN EVERYONE'S MIND AND YOU SAILED STRAIGHT BY IT GODDAMN IT COLIN
Im not a mammoth !!!!!!!!!
Love that amp! #wishgranted
Cool amp, but this 6 minute video has 5 advertisements in it? 1 Orange amp, 2 target mids, 3 t shirts 4 patrons 5 end of video advert
It's almost like making videos is my likelihood...
@@ScienceofLoud I mean fair but even cable television has less ads per minute.
OH shit im early
British accent is as much Scottish as it is English.... ;-)

You should do the"accent tag" thing that's been on YouValve lately. That would be hi-stair-ickle
That tremolo effect is annoying as fuck, bro.
