@@guitaraholic are you using brittle ? I'm doing a VG dex stack and even with a crit elder chest i'm still only at 70/80 % crit ( granted i have no MB yet) Edit: and a crit claw :p
I did Dex Stack in Sentinel and there is a way to craft those deterministic: use hatred essences on a HUNTER Claw(this is important) until u hit IAS, annul of every other mod, craft multimod+prefix cannot change+suffix cannot change so you got filled suffixes and one open prefix. if you then reforge cold you are guaranteed the cold mod. after that you can multimod crit+pen and the claw is done :) expencive but it delivers
Yep! That is the final goal - I ended up with base as I’d already spent 4 divines worth of Hatred re rolls and hit the int / lightning stacking mod instead. That will be the final claw goal since going for an Uber shaper ‘supported by’ claw with squire will be near impossible now with the suffix / prefix changes on harvest

So I'm glad you're sharing and experimenting on new or alternative ways to crafting. Please keep making videos like this. It's good to know what still works in 3.19 and what doesn't.

I think the flat cold craft was best :) I'd have to check PoB but almost certain bench crafting flat and Yolo zlamming the final suffix was the right move!

Lovely to see you make some crafting videos (and enjoying the league ofcourse)! I would like to see a crafting guide for a "12L" wand for cold BV. I'm thinking Conq Orbing shaper with Critical Stikes Support with an elder wand with Area of Effect support, hoping for an open suffix and aug crit for crit multi support. But from there I don't really know what to do to get somewhat decent prefixes relatively cheap.
Any 12L item is going to cost an absolute fortune and will never be relatively cheap :( Even a "bad" 12L will cost multiple mirrors and with the removal of reforge keep prefixes/suffixes it might be bordering on impossible at this stage! :( I'll check it out, but yeah, this isn't the kind of item you can make on a budget, sadly :(

For a Lightning Strike/Venom Gyre trinity Claw. Should I just spam Essences (wrath, hatred, anger, attack speed, crit one) till a decent combination of affixes and then finish crafting if needed?
Yes, on a fractured base (either flat ele pref or attack speed, i'd say the flat is for a better end result with higher cost and attack speed is more for a mid end craft that keep cost pretty low)
@@johnmerritt5351 somone on reddit suggested to go for 2 flat eles + hits can't be evaded, to remove the accuracy from the tree and go for a second set of clusters

Me and a lot of other people are simply unhappy with the state of the game. It's definitely the worst the game had been in a very long time, but it's still path of exile. I can't help but play even if I don't like it 🤷♂️
Don’t say things like “the game is in a bad state”. The game is healthier than ever. GGG has reigned in the economy ruining aspects of the game and (other than MF cull) given most of that power to the average player. I’m so happy and that’s because I’ve been playing and seeing these things rather than having a knee jerk reaction.
I...don't know if we're playing the same game. This wasn't remotely a knee-jerk reaction - I played for about 30 hours on league start before seriously questioning what the hell was happening. I've NEVER been the person who complains about nerfs or adjustments and am usually in favour if the game becoming a little more challenging. The reason I and so many people were upset was that they adjusted the core foundation of the game - the loot - in a way that felt bad and unrewarding to a lot of people. PS. What were the "economy ruining" aspects of the game that were removed? Juicing maps? 6 person MF parties? The same ones that are now gone and people are asking "why is Aegis Aurora 20 divines??? I can't afford it!"
@@Lolcohol I appreciate your experience. I felt the changes to loot you mention; I found wealth in currencies that had in previous leagues devalued instantly, like chromes and jewelers. My relative power had increased as those players that were previously able to bypass the early league power grind were suddenly brought into normal power bands. Yes: 6 player MF parties and mirror crafters. Yes an Aegis is more expensive. At the same time the ratio of Aegis entering the market has shifted from outliers back to the average player. Because the market wasn’t saturated by MF groups it now feels good to find one of the rare uniques. Likewise lowering the crafting ceiling has raised the value of items average players craft. There are certainly serious problems. MF cullers, gear swapping, lackluster league mechanic. Don’t let that cloud the core of the game feels better than ever.

Fossils might be the answer! It's what was really nice before harvest. It's less deterministic but it's super fun so maybe I'll do some of that :)
