Perfect match with my growing collection of Canon glass. Please let me know of your favorite budget fast glass if any specifically for Fuji.
@@ksand6718 the XT2 is wonderful! And one of my favorites for the x mount is anything from the F2 line from Fuji. They are weather sealed and fairly fast at F2. I had the 23mm which is very small and light. A great combo that's super affordable as well is adapted Canon FD lenses from the 70s and 80s

If anyone has a X-Pro3, all of the adapter companies do not test on the X-Pro3 body for some reason except for Fringer. I wish Fringer made a speebooster with autofocus.
it’s not the fastest on that lens but it looks like really natural focus pulls which is really nice to see! i actually prefer that to the super quick snaps to focus
Fringer is not a speedbooster...just adapter. Viltrox EF-FX2 is a speedbooster but image quality is not great for pictures (fine for video), has some infinity focus issues (can be fixed by rotating the lens element) and video AF in general is not as refined as Fringer BUT you are getting more light and FOV
Yeah, it's the very reason I ended up on this video and a few others like it. I was filling my cart on KEHs site with XT4 body and a couple lenses and the price was getting out of control fast! Then I discovered an adapter and realized not only would I not have to sell my Canon gear I was gonna end up with two camera bodies. Can't wait to see how much better my off hand shooting goes with my 600mm sigma coupled with fujis in body image stabilization. It was going to be a small fortune replacing all my lenses. And I almost decided to not buy the Fuji because I saw no macro offerings from Fuji. Bit of a deal breaker for me.

Been a long time since I've been back, but I loved living there. Now, you only demonstrated the nifty-fifty. So, I don't know if you tested the adapter with EF-S zoom lenses that are stabilized. My question is about how well the stabilization of the lenses work. Do you know?
William Ridenour good to see another east TN native on here! Haha unfortunately I have not adapted any EFS lenses to the Fuji but I will say that as good as the AF has been I would imagine Fringer did the same for stabilization function as well👍🏼
@@GarrettWare The reason I was asking is because I shoot video---ONLY video. I can't recall when I last took a photo except one to put a product I'm selling on eBay. For hand held video you MUST have stabilization. There are some great EF lenses, of course. But some really excellent EF-S lenses as well. You might look into the 17-55 2.8. Ef-S. Actually, I'm not from east Tennessee. My dad grew up near Knoxville, and his brother lived in Lake City. I grew up in Harlan Co., about 40 miles from Pineville and Middlesboro. So, Knoxville was only a few hours drive. It's been a long time since I lived there, but it will always be home for me.

Dan AYP I've seen some wedding photographers use the Viltrox and it's looks buttery smooth! 85mm is a great focal length in general because of the compression😃

Hi Can you help me the find Fuji x mount to canon m mounts. Coz I have Rokinon EF 12mm Fujix but it’s doesn’t fit on my canon m50. So now need mount for this lenses now plz. Really appreciate it
Sadly I don't think there is an adapter for X to Ef-m. I did some research and can't find one😕 only think I could think of is try EF-M to EF then adapt to X mount. Only problem there is image quality might suffer due to lens being further from sensor
Thank you for the support! I'm honestly not sure. I would imagine so and the reason I say that is I adapt a Tamron lens to my LUMIX S5 and it still uses the lens IS so I would imagine every brand doing the same. I can test it out and report my findings!

Excellent review. It showcases that the AF features still function flawlessly when adapting to Canon glass. I think that the auto focus when it transitions to different depths has a nice and smooth speed. If I had a Fuji, I would definitely be wanting to find a way to adapt to my Canon glass and this would definitely get my vote!

Great questions! This adapter works with any X Mount Fuji body (I believe the XH1 is). I have used it with quite a few L series canon lenses and had zero issues with AF performance in both photo and video mode. Thanks for the support🙏🏼
Hi! I bought Fringer Pro ii and received it today. I've mounted Canon EOS 50mm f1/.8 on my Fujifilm X-T30 and pushed the lock switch (of the Finger Pro ii) down to lock the lens. The aperture is stuck at 1.0 and will not autofocus. Could you help me please? I've updated the Firmware to version 1.70.
Ean Dacay thanks for reaching out! Is it locking at 1.0 or is the camera not recognizing the lens? It shouldn't open the aperture any more than 1.8. If it does you may be having a connectivity issue
Forget the fringer, I am more impressed by the colours of your video 😂 , what picture profile did you use specially at the start , and how did you colour grade it? Any lut ?
Levicius thanks for the encouragement! I shot this in F Log for the intro and used the Fuji Rec 709 conversion LUT from their website as my base! WDR one to be exact. Then added contrast with curves and adjusted green and blue hues👍🏼
Garrett Ware awesome! I bought my xt4 today and it’s suppose to be arriving tomorrow. From the videos I have seen the f log to 709 LUT gives the most natural for daily content, people are vloging using the Bleach by pass pictur profile and saying Fuji colours are awesome. This can mislead a lot of people . Thanks brother!
Are there any other cheaper alternatives? Does JJC make anything like these? $300 for the adapter is a little too much imo. I can just go with Fuji’s native 35mm f2 lens.
I was thinking how much this can save. Yes, initial cost is a bit steep but there are so many great Second Hand Canon lenses out there that could be used with this. That awesome little 50mm 1.8 is only about $120 isn’t it and it looks fantastic. Background blur, now that’s all I want.

thx for the video! I was not exprecting such a good performance, I also like the canon much better, as it refocuses slower and therefore it feels softer. Which version of the nifty fifty did you use? the stm version or the older ones? how is the noise while autofocusing? Do you have any other glass, that u tested with the adapter...I would be very interested in the ultra wide angles from canon 10-18 with IS and the tokina 11-16 or 11-20 with f2.8 ...and I guess quit horrible autofocus....(but perhaps I am wrong :=) ) cheers Peter
Peter Lames it is still a bit noisy when focusing. Also, I use it with my Rokinon 85mm Cinema lens, a Canon 24-70 F2.8, and I've even tried the Canon kit 18-55😂 All have worked!

Yes the focus racking is super smooth with it! ESPECIALLY considering the 50mm is not native to the Fuji

Great question! The only crop is the sensor crop from the Fuji itself. The adapter adds no additional cropping.

Steeven Crocodyle there is no extra crop from the Fringer, just the crop from the actual sensor on the camera!
I saw aa video they show video autofocus noise.
The auto focus noise is dependent on the lens your using! I know the 50mm Canon is a fairly noisy little guy but it works nonetheless🤘🏼
