- A complete rebuild of a CRF/XR100 engine. Bike was acquired with a cracked cylinder, bent connecting rod, bent intake valve, bad piston, etc. I was able to get 195 PSI of compression upon completion. A list of parts is included toward the end of the video.
Thank you

I would use eBay or your local Honda dealership
very good video .. its a lot of work and looks very easy all sped up .. i am rebuilding our CRF100F and im stuck for parts .. our nearest honda dealer quoted $2.210 for all the parts for a rebuild like what you just did ..i wish you had a full list of the pats you used throughout the build in the description below , it would make it a lot easier for me to try and find these parts locally if i could make a list of parts with their names of the manufacturer who makes them .dosen't help that i'm far away in South Africa

@@LightningMotorsportsAZ thanks for the reply.. I just want to make sure that this is really you & not a scammer slipping into the comments of your video tryng to get me to transfer bitcoin, PayPal etc to them.
Bro partzilla and ebay
I have a question? Have you ever heard a slight ticking noise from the xr/crf 100 its not bad just kind of a light light ticking noise think im out of adjustment?
Check the valve lash and your timing chain
Are there torque specs for the left crankcase cover? Or is it just tighten till tight?
You can reference the manual for those torque specs if you would like. "Snug and a nudge" should be fine for a case cover.
So I have a motor I been rebuilding and it seems to get stuff when I put the other side of the case on, could you have any idea what it could be?
Need more information
Send me an email if you would like help
@@LightningMotorsportsAZ 2005 Honda crf100f that had the piston, crank, cylinder, cylerhead, cases, transmission, valves all replaced
I can post a video on it tomorrow on what it does to see if you can help me with it
Great video except..why did you install the shift forks off camera? This is where we're having a problem. Not sure which order or direction they go and I can't find any info online. Why is this so Top Secret ? 9:34
Nothing secret here. Camera battery died unfortunately. If you have the manual, parts diagram, and have identified the shift forks... You should be able to get it all together within the gear set and shift drum.
is there a service/ user manual online for this?

On a Kawasaki 125 pro is the motor oil different from the transmission oil
What is the year and model of the bike you are asking about
@@LightningMotorsportsAZ a 2018 Kawasaki 125c z pro
@@mikemiller481 this bike is a single hole oil change. Approximately 1 us qt of 10w-40 at oil and filter change.
@@LightningMotorsportsAZ thanks now I got to adjust my lifters on it
Do you not need to oil up the piston pin?
12:42
@@LightningMotorsportsAZ I had seen that but did you oil the actual piston pin before putting it in to connect the piston to the connecting rod? (Sorry I've never rebuilt a engine before and I have to rebuild my xr100r so I'm trying to figure it out, Thank you for any help you can give/gave)
@@robertcourtney7030 Absolutely. Cylinder wall gets wiped clean several times before coating with oil. Piston skirt and rings get oil. Send me an email if you need help, tips, or advice with the rebuild or finding parts. lightningmotorsportsaz@gmail.com
How much was the rebuild cost $$
Are you asking me...
What is the cost of the parts used to rebuild the engine? Or the retail cost of everything I purchased for the project? The spreadsheet at the end has the list of parts that you can lookup based on your needs.
Rebuild mine lol
