Ironman is a literal powerhouse if you think about it. He fought a mad titan, two super soldiers at the same time, the Hulk and Thor. That's one hell of a human being.

Certainly not the best thing to say, but there wasn’t much of a smirk on his face and the tone of Bucky’s voice wasn’t a malicious one. He probably intended to convey to Tony that he remembers every kill the winter soldier committed while he had to sit in his own body and watch.

He’s still has the fighting skills that he had while under Hydra but Iron Man fights smarter.
Iron man could of executed both of them. Its about friends and family. Bucky and steve only exist because of other peoples intelligence.
So the avengers are nothing without hank, howard, tony and strange.
I feel Bucky holds back when he's not brainwashed. When he's brainwashed, his empathy is gone and goes for the kill. In this situation, Bucky knows Tony is Steve's friend, so he holds back even more so and only tries to disable Tony's suit.
3:11 I love that during this sequence, Cap and Bucky continuously launch attacks at Iron Man so he cannot counter, but when Bucky throws Cap the shield, Iron Man seizes the opportunity immediately!
I touched them at too. Once Iron Man turned on Cap, Bucky had to stop running and step in and they both briefly overwhelmed Iron Man. Iron Man saw a quick break in their combination and blasted Cap away.
When MCU was at its peak
It's peak was Endgame. This was when it was rising up to its peak. I think it's still okay personally. I'm not as down on the new films as most other people.

Imagine what Stark would have done just one on one with either of them.
He could of easily killed them both, but he chose to throw fists and fight like a man, with only armor he created…we all saw cap kill innocent people with scarlet. Same with winter soldier. Steve rogers even goes back in time to stay with agent carter only cuz of tony. Steve’s a variant. Tony’s goal was only ever to keep loved ones alive. IRONy is that both of his opponents are who they are because of the starks. Its betrayal. Tony is who he cuz of his own intelligence. Cap was just a brave and arrogant kid in the right spot right time. Always used other more honorary people / scientists to become who he ended up being. Bucky went missin because of caps arrogance. If they killed Tony right here. They basically snapped thanos fingers for him …Lol

These are the kinds of action and fight scenes the mcu needs to bring back. I know not everyone wants every movie to culminate in a big boss battle and I’m fine with that. But these are super hero movies . When they do action scenes they need to be good. Marvel movie fight scenes have not been very good ever since Endgame , with a couple exceptions, like Shang chi. These movies in the first 3 phases had wonderful fights for the most part . Not just chi but the actual choreography. Now all we get are standard “bad guy stands here and let’s the good guy do soem crazy punch, then the good guy stands there and let’s the bad guy have his turn “ etc etc
Russo Brothers directed MCU films are always a hit. Especially the action sequences.

Actually, looking at Bucky's journey now, Tony's destruction of the Winter Soldier's metal arm inadvertently granted him his salvation, leaving Wakanda only the need to remove the command systems programmed within his head. It's such an awesome arc for both of them - what's done initially with hatred and revenge ultimately provided an innocent killer his redemption, and lit up the way toward his journey in FATWS - amending the mistakes he's made in the past.

I just realized 7 YEARS LATER...that BOTH Cap and Tony had their sidekicks injured. And both had to help them rebuild. A tear in the Avengers formed by their own hand...
You can really see what RDJ meant when he hasnt felt like has acted to his potential since 2008. And it took until Oppenheimer for him to put a lot of effort into his acting. He only acts for seconds at a time on screen....cut endlessly with CGI iron man. And hologram shots filmed seperately....the scene where hes reacting to Bucky killing his parents right before he smacks Cap here is the most intense acting he did in this movie! After the deep breaths of seeing Rhodey fall from the sky....Love it! But not much acting.
Interesting even coming from early university age to now. Understanding how films are made better. Not just fantasy anymore. Can see right thru it all now.
Not gonna lie, I was with Stark on this one. As much as I like cap.
Ever since I was a kid I’ve is read every Ironman comic I could, I liked moon knight too. This fight hurt me, I wanted Ironman to beat the snot out of both of them. If there wasn’t any plot armor he could’ve killed both of them in less than a minute. They buffed him.
There's irony about this too. In the Winter Soldier, Fury knew about Barnes and didn't tell Rogers. Rogers was upset with Fury about that. Years later, Rogers was now in Fury's position having known the truth about Stark's parents... And this is how he handled it

All cap did wrong was not tell Stark the truth sooner, What Tony did wrong was try to murder an innocent man.

Is it weird that I think Bucky should've died here? He does basically nothing in the movies after this and it would've forced stark to progress as a character even further, reconciling with the blood on his hands and the emptiness of his victory. Because of him, he and cap tore the avengers apart over nothing, and are even less prepared for thanos than ever before. This is the same grief rage that made quill punch thanos and effectivly gave him the win right there, which would be even more poetic mirroring how stark permanently splintered the avengers.
Crazy how they used to be freinds but they hated eachother in a blink of an eye once stark figured out that captains freind bucky killed his parents.

Endlessly fascinating how Tony needs to use his suit to analyze fighting patterns but you can watch Bucky and Cap go at him tactically. 1) attempt to disable repulsors 2) disable flight ability 3) disable targeting system 4) attempt to disable arc reactor

Attempt to disable are reactor is abig mistake compare to repulsor, there is one guy die from it in Iron man 3. if this is not capt movie iron man might have one, look at him fight so sharp and effective. But capt raw strength we can't denied.

This was such a good fight but the soundtrack over it felt like it didn’t capture the intensity of the battle. It felt like more of a sorrow melody covering two once best friends trying to kill each other

Something cool I’ve noticed is at 2:08 when Tony retracts his helmet and tries to eyeball it because his targeting system was damaged really reflects Obadiah Stane having the exact same problem at the end of ‘Iron man’ when trying to kill Tony. In my head canon, this is meant to be an analogy exemplifying that Tony is the true antagonist of this movie as well as to show how far he was willing to go to avenge his mom.

If you think abt it, I think stark could’ve definitely handled Bucky for good amount of time. It was hard cause Steve was there and Tony doesn’t want to hurt his friend but it’s hard when he keeps getting in the way.

I love the way Tony and Cap don't actually full-on attack each other until the end, only try to get each other out of the way. Being teammates, they know how to compromise each other without causing serious injury.
