The mask/helmet he wore was sculpted to Dirctor Joss Whedon's head size. Whedon's forehead is significantly bigger than Chris Evans'. The Avengers Cap suit was goofy anyway but the giant ass forehead helmet didn't help.

Never understood the hatred some people have for this movie. Thoroughly enjoyable.
It's hyperbolic to say that people "hated" it. They just didn't like it as much as other movies.
Just because you don't like something as much as something else, doesn't mean you hate it. Realize that there is nuance.
It was an okay Movie with a couple of great scenes but also some missed opportunities and some flat out weird decisions. (e.g. introducing quicksilver, then killing him in the same movie.)
I think part of it was just that it was sold as the empire strikes back it was marketed to be very dark. But then it wasn’t really that dark it spent a lot of time setting up phase 3 and not telling its own story. But I agree I enjoyed it for what it is!

Captain America is so underated in terms of raw strength! I love how his sheer force of will and heart enhances the the super soldier serum within him to push this guy well beyond the limits of a normal human and arguably what was thought possible from the super soldier serum itself. I dare say low level superhuman. I think Dr. Erskine knew that he would have limitless potential to fight for good against any odds. Its absolutely amazing when you think about it. The writing and years of methodical build up makes it difficult to compute it all at times when shits hitting the fan like this. This in turn makes it so multi faceted and almost different every time you see it. I treasure this character arc and always will.

Ah, so it was this movie when everything became more "quippy" and the action started feeling floaty and weightless. No wonder this was a shock for me after Winter Soldier
You know, this does show just how durable and strong cap is. He was trading blows with ultron and even tanked 2 beams to the chest and being thrown against 2 moving cars and he wasn't even winded. Cap also managed to throw ultron with so much force it knocked out an entire chunk of reinforced concrete. That's not counting for the actual weight of ultron himself and how far cap managed to throw him. Cap may not of been a match, but he's damn sure not weak.
We could have used Ultron's army against Thanos!

This is something we don’t get with newer movies, we don’t get this grounded movies that feel like they could actually exist, it’s all super powers, where like captain America feels like he could be a real person, but we now have Multiverse, gods and and spiritual creatures, nothing like the old marvel movies, just watching captain America jump off the bridge reminded me of how set in world the mcu used to be

It was surreal to watch this movie when it came out because i was in South Korea, and the Mapo Dong bridge which was used in this movie, was where I stayed for the duration of my time in Seoul!

No, Cap did not try to choke a robot at 1:46 . a chokehold can be used not just to choke someone but also as a grappling maneuver, looks more like he was attempting to take him down or at least restrict his movement. Which almost worked because you can see Ultron stumble and lose balance.

@@whyteterror4168 you do realize there's a force called momentum right? When he goes up he is still moving at the exact same speed as the truck, and if you paid attention you'd see he falls a bit farther behind the truck than he was a moment ago, because momentum exists
