The best of your tracks with no doubts. But I recommend you to keep the image of the original track, cuz it looks scarier and fits more with the track than the new one. Anyway, congratulations
i would imagine there would be a point in the void when u reach far out enough where a single dot appears on your radar. It gets closer. Then massive jaws appear on the radar beneath the dot, and it disappears. Then you know you're completely fucked.
I imagine the radar wouldn’t even be able to comprehend it’s size and the whole thing just turns red or just glitches out and displays some kind of error.
“The six eyed devil eel, the living constellation, it’s said that it only moves when hungry, and just the twitch of its tail can create tsunamis.” And so a cult forms dumping meat and bodies into the thing’s mouth to try and keep it from waking up to hunt.
Imagine this, Subnautica 3. Reilly steals a space vessel from alterra and flees back to his home on the crater, however he is shot down by someone who will be important later, he misses the crater you can faintly see the aroura from above, as you descend into the void you see a ghost and a cheli clash, they send you flying on accident and your vessel crashes into a cave, blocking it. You can exit into the cavern but the door in your vessel at the other side is jammed by something and you need to fix it to progress the story. During the story you are hunted by alterra bounty hunters, but here's the catch. They're armed and your not, and you can't take their guns as they will explode if the target picks up the gun. Anyways, that's just context. Here it is! During the end of the game you get the atlas submarine (or something similar larger than cyclops) it is the only sub in the game that can travel that deep. You enter the cavern but then your sub powers down and you get electrocuted, as you wake up you see another submarine with a huge gun on it, the man in the other sub says: ''Looks like you're all out of power. How unfortunate, not even your own sub is on your side, come out now, and I'll make it hurt less.'' Then all of the sudden a gargantuan leviathan breaks through the ceiling and consumes him, he panics and fires the canon causing a cave in and stunning the leviathan. You begin to run and it breaks free and is quickly coming towards you. Your pda says: ''Warning: A giant predatory lifeform is exhibiting extreme agressio- *Static*'' Then the pda says, seemingly hijacked: ''Are you ready to die?'' in a creepy voice. A chase ensues and this plays.
I love how this track feels like a Dark Reprise of the Abandon Ship track, with the feel of this adding to the intensity, the horror, and the powerlessness against an unstoppable force. The ethernal howls in the beginning first minute helps gives an element of supernatural to it too, especially given the thing is implied to be sentient by the way it seemingly hijacks the PSA to ask, "Are you ready to die?" after the AI gives the Star Wars reference on the odds of survival. Heck, the electric techno parts of this also go well with the Garg because its got a few electric abilities to it, seen usually when its eating a Ghost Leviathan or chomping on your Cyclops lol. Like another person put it, it convoys the multiple feelings the Garg presents to us in all of its forms. And I'm having difficulty here trying to describe those feelings lol. But one thing for sure is, this kaiju-sized dragon electric eel really is something else!

the vibe of just seeing this thing swim around you until it's giant head comes into view and your left thinking "holy shit" as your last moments before it eats you *and* your cyclops..thing tore apart the sunbeam, a ship comparable to the aurora in size after all edit: those last few notes are when i can imagine its head turns to look at you and all you can see is its massive eye..or the last few glimpse you get before its jaws snap shut and kill you second edit cause ive watched it a few times now (listened, whatever) can just imagine the "are you certain whatever your doing is worth it" when it trails off is interrupted by both seeing this thing and it roaring. likeother tracks have this epic fight vibe of you veruse this massive beast, this feels like a desperate "fuck fuck fuck" as you try and run for your fucking life (espiecally at 3:04)
I’m gonna correct a misconception about the sunbeam here: canonically, it’s roughly similar in size to the Cyclops. While it’s much larger in the game, this was done to make the sunbeam sequence look the same from nearly any angle, as a sort of optical illusion
I've been waiting for this song for so long, and now, it's finally here! I love the dark, frightening vibe of this track, it suits the powerful Gargantuan Leviathan. It also has an epic feel to it.
Riley drives into a narrow cave, with robin telling him that ALAN is most likely trapped behind an archetect door infront of him. Using a blue tablet, riley opens the door, with a black void infront of him. Robin's voice is quickly cut off as a shadow appears, with ALAN's obviously lifeless robot corpse flying towards riley. The PDA spouts out something unintelligible, followed by, "Are you ready to die?" The shadow gets bigger as this theme plays
30 seconds in and it's awesome! I've listened to all of your Subnautica remixes, and I really like that you include lines from the game! Good job, and keep up the good work :D
My personal head canon for this track and the Gargantuan Leviathan is a strange marker appears on your HUD and it points to an island, once you get there the music builds up as the Garge circles the island and ensnares it while you're on it. Then from 1:09 to 1:39 it roars directly at the player, shaking the whole island and the players screen as your health drops slowly during the whole process and nearly destroying the island itself, just as a show of power and proving you're not safe even on land. Once it's finished roaring it just silently stares at you and waits while a new objective pops up: Scan the Leviathan. Just to show that it is in fact sentient and is humoring you because it has a bigger bone to pick with the ancients than it does with you. Perhaps afterwards whenever you're in the water and near the Gargantuan Leviathan 2:45 would play, as to signify that while it won't directly attack you, you have it's attention, something nobody would want normally.
