Only watched S1 but it was really fun. Its fanservice and slapstick comedy can be a bit weird at times (reminding me of harem shows of the 2000) and as a result kinda gatekeeps the series a bit but they are not that bad and the other aspects of the show is were the series really shines. About the QQ part: Its influence is obvious but not in a negative way. QQ did a lot of good things that a lot of ppl started to dismiss, ignore or even lie about just because they did not like how things went in its last third... so having a show like megami taking those aspects and trying to avoid the issues the quints ran into is a good thing. Many harem titles would have been a lot better if they took some lessons from QQ.
Amazing video! I’m sure I said it in the first video, but Goddess Cafe is just QQ but better. Of course, that can change rather quickly, but I’d say that Seo Kouji has been fairly consistent with the material. If there’s one thing that I do like a whole lot better here compared to QQ is that the drama in Goddess Cafe isn’t as a heavy handed nor forced upon the characters. Even with the extra cast added in to our main characters, I still find the characters to be engaging, which allows for a bit more adult-oriented romcom due to its jokes. It’s just great really. I would so look forward to that video idea though!
Been a long time since I last watch a video of yours, man. It's good to be back once again. Can't wait for you to make multiple videos discussing this series like TQQ.
Except ami, all of them are in university, so them being a bit more mature is to be expected but then again, some of its slapstick comedy and ecchi elements are more juvenile than anything QQ did. Just to be fair.
@@WickedAnimeTroll Yup, I agree; the ecchi placement is so random that it sometimes takes away from important moments. I think the series would've been better without it, but that's not something Seo Kouji would drop xD. He even made straight-up hentai chapters for some of his manga.
Caught up after your first video and really really enjoyed it I didn’t stay for the week to week experience tho I need catch up fr. W video like always 😁
the follow up video I've been waiting for gotta say I'm really enjoying the series alot currently the characters are so amazingly handled and the best part of this series is easily Hayato himself he's the cherry on top to an amazing tasting cake. the start of the series isn't the best admittedly for reasons you described but if you stick with it then greatness awaits. while it does share aspects of Quint I honestly find it much better handled and executed compared to it sure Ouka has alot in common with itsuki but she's far better handled and doesn't have iIsuki's downsides like the stop and go and plot device nature now hopefully the series sticks the landing also if u did theory video on who he would marry it would be great.
I've been joking a bit about Ouka being Itsuki :) They definitely share many similarities, but Ouka does develop into its own character. I'm working on the theory.
In order: The World God Only Knows Nisekoi The Quintessential Quintuplets Joshikousei to Seishokusa-san Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi Yamada-kun And The Seven Witches One Room, Hi Atari Futsuu, Tenshi Tsuki Otaku-kun Who's Kind To Gyaru Trinity Seven
Okay, on the serious note, so far I love this manga/anime. There is one thing that I find annoying, however, and SPOILER ALERT for the manga, it's the inclusion of rival caffe girls to Hayatos harem. IMO, it's not bad, but it's adding too much unnecessary stuff. But beside that, I really like this one. Btw Akane is the best girl.😁
Yeap, I think the idea of a rival cafe itself is fine, they needed some competition to keep the business side interesting, but five new characters that, albeit became their own characters, feel like alter versions of the main five wasn't a great idea xD It's kind of hard to keep them all relevant...especially when there are even more new characters.
@@SylvanesW yeah, I agree. BTW I heard that the author wanted to avoid the backlash that the ending of TQQ and give us the ending based on the popularity of the characters, after he develops them all.

I dropped this series a while ago after about 40 chapters but you're making me want to pick it up again lol
Hahahaha, didn't expect to be mentioned. Mom, i'm famous!

Wake up babe, Sylvanes posted new video xD
Hayato's daughter look like ouka...
The first time i watched the season 1, i feel ouka is itsuki HAHAHAHA
It’s definitely a more mature version of the quintessential quintuplets
