I've been wondering how much of Tatsu's cooking, cleaning, diy/hacks, and advice are factual? The anime already cracks me up, but it'd be awesome to know how much of this stuff actually works.
It really surprising how some interesting framing and a bit of clever editing can make a show with animation so limited as this one feel so charming, certainly more memorable that a lot of SoL with standard ok-ish but ultimate forgettable animation, props to the team
i know this is intentional by the mangaka it self, but trully blessed the mangaka, he can spot the set up that is the best for his own manga, and deciding to use that as animation, making this feels unique and refreshing, it feels you has seeing someone live but not from 3D respective, but from 2D respective which is making this feels so refreshing, and also im enjoying every moments panel change it so flawless, kudos for the studio making the panel changing didnt awkward

His level of cooking, also the skills and knowledge in preparing the proper meals daily really outstanding..and plus he also can make chinese cuisine, and not mention, the level of understanding the using of goods in making foods to produce high level nutrients and boast of health is really shockingly surprised. I just wanna say that canele need a mandatory 24 hours batter rest and 48 hrs if you want it to taste really good. So unless you've already planned on making it and had already prepared the batter beforehand it's not a fast thing you can whip out like he make it seems. Also a canele taste really great but it's really hard to make a good canele. just like he did rum is added in it but it's optional. . ps. I know this is for entertainment I just wanna share what I know maybe someone would like to learn about these thing like me ^^
to those who are confused about the "animation", this anime is a Picture Drama. it's a type of animation that focus mostly on humor/drama and voice work instead of "Sakuga" style fluid movements and animation. (this type of "animation" is actually very common in Japan)
Is such a shame that Netflix advertised it as an anime, it made people think is just badly animated when in fact supposed to be like this, i think it fits very well with the humour

This kinds of remind me of my dad. Since he no longer works he now helps do the cleaning, cooking, laundering and ironing at home. And he is even better at them than my mom. He cleans so well i wouldn't have thought back then because he was so lazy. He is also very good at sewing :"D and i appreciate the work he does for us. And even with his capability that surpasses my mom housechore skills, he still says he doesn't like what he is doing. He still has that conservative mindset where men aren't supposed to do that, i think. Which is funny.
nah it always been like that, we human's consider the simplest, yet the hugest showings of bravo to complete the most simplest task to be pretty badass. Someone who has so much skill, yet uses it effectively and quietly. Only to do it cause it's fun, or the only way that individual knows how too.
never seen this show but I love the animation style, honestly to me seems like the solution to the issues adapting Berserk, we can preserve the artistic masterpieces of the manga if we just use moving panels.
actually this style fit it, because this story is like 4 picture comedy, short, lack of detail make it funny, if its do like normal anime, animator must add a tons of detail that didnt intended by mangaka. And with stupid story like this, detail is not good. its make the story weird.
This series is definitely a good “break into” anime, as it’s a unique animation style that’s got perfect timing and makes it easier to get involved in watching, and for slice-of-life/comedies, that’s a good thing!

tsuken’s voice is simply on another level
This kinds of remind me of my dad. Since he no longer works he now helps do the cleaning, cooking, laundering and ironing at home. And he is even better at them than my mom. He cleans so well i wouldn't have thought back then because he was so lazy.
He is also very good at sewing :"D and i appreciate the work he does for us. And even with his capability that surpasses my mom housechore skills, he still says he doesn't like what he is doing. He still has that conservative mindset where men aren't supposed to do that, i think. Which is funny.

nah it always been like that, we human's consider the simplest, yet the hugest showings of bravo to complete the most simplest task to be pretty badass. Someone who has so much skill, yet uses it effectively and quietly. Only to do it cause it's fun, or the only way that individual knows how too.

never seen this show but I love the animation style, honestly to me seems like the solution to the issues adapting Berserk, we can preserve the artistic masterpieces of the manga if we just use moving panels.
actually this style fit it, because this story is like 4 picture comedy, short, lack of detail make it funny, if its do like normal anime, animator must add a tons of detail that didnt intended by mangaka.
And with stupid story like this, detail is not good. its make the story weird.
This series is definitely a good “break into” anime, as it’s a unique animation style that’s got perfect timing and makes it easier to get involved in watching, and for slice-of-life/comedies, that’s a good thing!
