Absolutely blown away. Thank you for your fine work. I'm in a Tool tribute band. Would be honoured and of course if you were happy for us to share this gem as part of our preshow. Let me know. Cheers from Melbourne, Australia
I was just thinking that, it'd be crazy. Makes me wonder how many other NES/SNES tunes would translate into a stunning song with proper instrumentation.
The guitar interlude before the lyrics "cold, cold, cold, silence" (3:31) has always been my favorite part of the song .. but the 8 bit drums 🥁 stole the show .. You should try Vicarious or The Pot
I think this would sound even better on the Sega Genesis soundchip. If there's one thing the Genesis does well is making drums and basslines sound great. See Shadow Dancer ost for examples. Edit: By the way, if you're a fan of prog and math rock you won't regret looking up Shadow Dancer's ost, I guarantee.
Awesome! But put the NES on the panels and not the SNES! Wrong chip!! This is the year 2021 plus you literally made this! Get on that before you are canceled or some lol.
The pixels fit.
I knoww the piixeeeeellsss fiiiiit

I was listening to this while ripping out an ingrown toe nail. Became pretty intense.
Damn lmao
🤮
I knew if I waited enough years the perfect ring tone would emerge as the pieces fit.
Oh man. I can hear this music on a castlevania level.
Exactly what I thought.
Sounds like Super Mario Bros. 3 all stars music
Gotta be one of the coolest things Ive ever seen/heard on RUclips! Can you imagine fighting a SNES boss to this music?? Awesome job
I was just thinking that, it'd be crazy.

Covid pandemic is at full swing !! Your channel was a blessing!!! All classics !! Thank you and bless you !!
I can imagine a demented level battling those long limby things😅

You should try Vicarious or The Pot
Brilliant! Genius! I can't get over this... game officially CHANGED!
This is great. I appreciate the amount of effort that went into programming this. Awesome job.
Sounds like a game I want to play.
oh shit !!! Just seen this after I subbed after listening to the opeth-blackwater park video!!
so excited . Please don't stop doing what you're doing
Any old school gamers here? This reminds me of the Golden Axe intro for sega 💜
I was playing Golden Axe yesterday
This one roughly sounds like actual video game music that you could hear in a game
Golden Axe on sega 💜🖤
@@jeffreysgirl6231 That would be good too. I thought Castlevania.
4:01 is everything
I need more 8bit TOOL! That would be so awesome if there was also a video game!

Such an awesome OST!
man, I just love this. Thanks for taking the time to make this.
Very good, but the SNES is 16-bit.
Just play it twice then. Problem solved
If ever someone deserved a sub it’s this person right here.
This is fucking amazing
Lmao it's awesome good job man! The poor sound card sounds stressed.
MJK is a plumber
Mario James Keenan 😅
This is my favorite song now.
This guy has 23 8-Bit Version recordings on this RUclips channel. This one has BY FAR the most views. 28K now. Some others have a few hundred.
This is freakin' awesome!
Fundamental dithering. 👌
This is awesome very good. But, this sounds like a NES, def not the SNES sound chip.
It literally says 8 bit in the title 😐

This was sooo enjoyable. Nice work! I loved it.
Well done! That synth sound is very warm, mind sharing what your equipment/process looks like?
Thank you for giving me that which I did not know was needed
Great theme for tetris
This would go great with one of the Castlevania games.
I'll definitely be rocking this on my Nokia 1100.
Also it has a Contra vibe for some reason.
This is brilliant.
This fuckin made me subscribe to you ♥️
There you go... I'm your 458th sub...
Haha me too!
Finding beauty in the dissonance
Classic Doom vibes
so freaking good my guy
Sounds like an 8-bit game but has SNES on it 🤔
This belongs in an old doom game
So fucking good
BRILLIANT!
That's nice! Good job!
Seems like it would be a great soundtrack for Tetris
Gotta play Tetris to this one.
Now I want to play ultimate doom
Came for another listen.. just realized this has the SUPER NINTENDO.. 🤔. The original NES is 8 bit. SNES was 16.
SNES Shadowrun - Somber News
Boss Battle Vibes
Nice style.
Nice! You picked the Tool song with like 70 time signature changes. This must have taken forever to do?
This shall not receive any down votes. Great job!
Subbed this is great.
Sub number 542... Remember this shit when this channel hits 1 million subs!
See!! Got 102 subs since i commented.
Someone wrote an article about you.
The intro is almost identical to origional metriod opening scene almost like tool was inspired
OH MY
The Tetris theme
can i get the tones for this? i would like to use this as my start up tone for my drone :)
Super Nintendo was 16 bit
Last stage theme song
So good the opeth was good too
A good track for Tetris/Dr. Mario.
Super Metroid
Someone needs to make a nes rom hack Tool video game.
I know the pixels fit... Hehe
I know the Nintendo's fit.
Should be great for dragon ball z Nintendo games. Buu's fury maybe??
Super Nintendo is 16bit
What kind of game would this be?
Tetris?
@@michaelmcdonald4956 For sure, cause the pieces fit. You solved the riddle.

As much as I love this, Danny Carey did it better.
