I (actually) abridged Pokemon Episode 32 to about a minute

Ash vs Koga! Or I guess, more like "Ash vs Koga's Sister Aya", because of the time limit. Sorry!
More importantly, this episode is the first time Misty's Psyduck shows off it's awesome psychic power! Even after that she still decides to keep bullying it anyway, though.

Ash gets a badge not because he beat the gym leader fairly, but because Misty's Psyduck had a headache.

It's a joy to finally hear Maddie Blaustein's iconic Meowth voice. Not that Nathan Price's voice was bad, but it was something to hear a slightly different voice for about 30 episodes.

Pity Badge number five… he’s only really gotten the Thunder Badge legit at this point.
Is it any wonder he didn’t win a League for twenty years?

Wait, did Misty's Psyduck win ash a gym badge? Has Ash won any actual gym battles?

TL;DR - In the unabridged version, Ash *DOES* win his rematch against Koga. However, I had to cut the Koga battles out to make room to show Psyduck's psychic powers.
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the record, Ash does win this one _mostly_ legit. In the original, when Koga says "A Pokemon like that (Psyduck) would certainly merit one of our badges," (1:33) it reminds Ash to challenge Koga to a rematch. Although, this comes with the caveat that Koga's gym is supposed to be a "Best of 3" gym, and yet the rematch was a 1v1 instead.
However, in terms of the plot, setting up Psyduck's psychic powers is actually much more important to the series moving forward than Ash's battles with Koga. Even Aya is more important than him, IMO, because it's her Venonat that the gang is following around for the first 10 minutes of the episode, and her _defeat_ that causes him to show up in the first place.
So in the end, to cram things into a minute-and-a-half, I made the decision to cut the Koga battles from the episode. I figured it would be funnier that way anyway. Even so, know that THIS episode was NOT an example of Ash cheesing a badge like he normally does.

TBH a lot of people have straight up tried to murder Ash. Heck, remember when he literally DIED in Ep. 23?

Well, when you think about, it's a Pokemon trainer's job to take credit for somebody else's work, so really Ash is doing the trainerly thing by taking that badge!
Joking aside, in the original he does beat Koga (sorta), but I had to cut it because I felt showing Psyduck's psychic powers was a lot more important for the plot anyway.
