Wow that was a lot of food, and the last one omg and he finished it. I have only had Chinese food so I can only say sweet and sour chicken, and shredded pork fried rice. 👍👍
Now that's how you vacation! Is this the last video with Alexander? I hope he can visit again soon. It was fun to watch your adventures together. I was able to sneak some instant ichiran through customs. looking forward to eating that later.
Agreed! Alexander has a resemblance to Norm, but their personalities are so different. Alexander is so relaxed and laid back, I feel like Alexander's an introvert, as opposed to Norm who is a hyper extrovert, full-of-energy, full-of-enthusiasm.
Considering you don't do food videos, this was still awesome, my mouth was watering with each restaurant you went in, the Ramen shop at the start was absolutely beautiful!
Onigiri, gyoza, karaage are in my top 3 savory choices. Black sesame ice cream and cakes for sweets. An entire day eating your way through the city is an awesome idea, though idk that I could do 5+ meals. Sorry to see Alexander head home, but hope you've got lots of great memories from his visit.
Your videos always make me miss Japan so much. So many places in the background that I recognize and miss, especially around Asakusa. Also, I remember seeing those giant onigiri in person and thinking that was 3 days worth of onigiri for me. Congrats to Alexander for doing it in one go.
Great video, as always! This is such a good memory to keep and cherish, imagine watching this again (and all the others you made) in 20-25 years! Fully enjoyed the 'foodie tour'!
Since I was 4 yrs old, my favorite has always been gyoza. Love watching your videos. It reminds me of when I used to live there (back when my dad was in the military).
I usually like to do other things when watching youtube, but yours is one of the few I stop and sit down to watch all the way through. I like your videography style.
OMG, Alexander is leaving already?! I love that giant onigiri. It was impressive! All-Day Onigiri. I loved this food video. I think your choice of animated music helped a lot! Thanks so much. Loved this video.
This was AWESOME! This is so what i want to do when i make it to Japan, just eat my way through the country, but poor Alexander, he was looking rough on that rice ball towards the end. Great video as usual Norm!
I can't not do karaage. So basic and simple, but so good and just different enough from anything I can get here in Canada. There's also a shawarma place near the Akiba station that does amazing pita sandwiches, and they're stuffed enough to make a meal all by themselves. Not Japanese at all but it's a must every time I'm in the area.
You guys literally lived out one of my dreams, which is to just dedicate a day to food exploration 😂. I’m gonna miss Alexander 😩 he was such a good contrast to you. Oh well glad you enjoyed your time together.
Really entertaining video! I loved the random interjections of Alexander eating the onigiri xD. My favorite food would definitely be sushi, although I probably havn't had half the stuff you guys had in the video.
What an awesome day! Sad to see this trip coming to an end, but I'm excited for Alexander to come back. I'm also baffled that he was able to finish that giant onigiri!
First of all: i really love the little intro of every video! Man, i still wonder how you managed to eat that much, i want to try that too sometime. The onigiri was HUGE, props to Alexander for eating the whole thing!
You don't do food videos often, but it seems that when you do them, you do them really, really well. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks Norm! Safe travels Alex! I'm betting we'll see you back on here within 12 months. Japan is a hard place to stay away from once you've experienced it.
I am glad I was eating lunch when I watched this video, otherwise I would have been super hungry. Loved the video, loved seeing all the different food. 🙂
been checking my youtube history. This is the first video of yours that I interacted with, and even then it was just liking a comment. Makes sense really, with all the food.
I would not survive a day like that, I am small in food, well, I eat crazy much around lunch and a few hours after that but then almost nothing. My favorite food is home cooked Japanese food, so delicious. By Alexander and thank you for all the awesome videos, hope you will be back soon.
Food video was great! Two thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻. Where to start 1. Omg I can’t believe Alexander ate the whole rice ball. He had this glazed look over his eyes after he was finished. 2. I can’t believe how much the both of you ate that day. Looked like a lot of fun. After watching you lay Mario kart. I had sudden urge to play. I probably would do the same thing. 3. I love when I see a new video pops up I get this big smile . 😊 4. I love eating bento 🍱 box tempura shrimp 🍤 and vegetables. Yum 😋 Miss your live videos on here. As ALWAYS YOU ROCK NORM!!!!!!!
Talk about making me hungry, all this food looks delicious and I might do the same when I get to Tokyo in a couple months 😂 These videos with Alexander have been great, too!
All those flash videos of your brother eating the onigiri just killed me lolol! He's amazing lol! Nicely done! As for me, I love takoyaki too, sushi and my favorite so far: YAKINIKU! For snack, onigiri and nikuman ^.^ I love food lol
Oh god, I remember the shrimp avocado sushi from スシロー. I ate it every time I was there, yet it was always impossible to eat it properly without it falling apart. Worth it though, it's so good! These vlogs make me miss Japan, I really got to go back haha.
Matcha version of the icecream Cone at the end is delicious if you're ever so inclined! Really enjoyed this video, living my favorite food dreams vicariously through you guys lol. Hopefully back to Tokyo in January and now I have a new gyoza place to add to the list to try out!
Wow, I don't even know where to start. That's a lot of food! I felt the Alexander's pain while he was eating that onigiri. That thing was massive!! It's super hard to say just what my favorite food here has been. As a snack/dessert, I love the vanilla and caramel ice cream mochi! I'm always down for yakiniku and tempura. There's really so much good food in Japan! Also, love your music choice with this! It fit perfectly!
Loved it! Except for the fact that now i'm hungry and your vid hit me right in the wanderlust xD Everything looks delicious and I'm glad the two of you enjoyed all of it :)
N:"Alexander; bye" A:"bye" ... made me LOL ... so much food! We love Onkonomiyaki and Ommu rice, but also all the food you guys had - never had a corn dog though!
If I had to pick my favorite traditional snack food... Takoyaki, and taikyaki... I enjoyed the HECK out of them in Ueno and Asakusa... SO GOOD! I really hope you brother does not wait so long to come back... This episode is like a Seinfeld episode with multiple plots... That onigiri... HOLY CRAP!!!
cheerio Alexander !! nice vid about good food - have never had ramen but hope to have someday - I have a Japanese friend (in UK) who became somewhat teary-eyed when I asked him if he missed ramen - must be good
fell down the rabbit hole of Japan-exploring YT channels after watching some Japan Street Food videos in 2017 - and now I am here, in 2022, watching your old video and missing Japanese food in Japan so much... T_T
I am such a lightweight I could never eat all that food, but it looked amazing! That onigiri though... it could easily cover 3 or 4 meals for me. It looked really delicious though! I'm ready for ramen also...gonna make some at home later this week.
You don't usually do food videos? Well.. You definitely should! I'd love seeing more food videos or just some street food snacks mixed into the other videos!
All that food 😲 but it all lookes really good. Like the mukbang idea as a send off. And that onigiri looked yummy. Where did you find it? With all the walking it's easy to work up an appetite.
My favourite food when I was in Japan last year was unagi. It really surprised me because I had wagyu beef and Michelin star ramen but it was insane! Takoyaki are also one of my favourite.
what a fun way to spend the day! it all looked really good, have you guys thought of choosing a destination...like some place in China or India and explore together and try different foods from another culture?
I know this video came out a month ago but work has been so crazy lately that I'm just now binge watching all the videos I've missed. But when I visited Japan I have to say that nikuman was my favorite thing to eat by far. Still trying to recreate them here at home but nothing comes close to the ones I had there
This is living the dream. don´t care about calories, social things. Just explore, eat... and having a good time. i am allready a big guy but, hands down, if i make my dreams come true and visit japan i am going to gain some extra weight. and so what. lets call them touchable memories. thank you and special thanks to alexander. Thank You so much for sharing these Moments. my goal is 2021 May.. 4 weeks trip.
For those planning to go to Japan and eat combini food find the little shop that sells onigiri and bentos like the one at beginning of the video. They are much better and healthier.
Really nice video! Would love to see more food videos ;) also would love to try this huuugeee onigiri. And what my favorite is? I would say gyoza out of the ones you ate.. actually I've never tried okonomiyaki or takoyaki (I'm vegetarian).
I love watching your adventures together! They're so wholesome :D My favorite japanese food is a toss up between chicken curry katsu, takoyaki, and sushi :)
"I feel accomplished." That is a fantastic quote. I feel that it would work well on a Japanese t-shirt. Or a food or drink item from a convenience store. Not incorrect English, but play it correctly and magic could ensue.
It’s like a day I wish I could do without consequences! Lol everything looked delicious and it sounded like a great way for your brother to end his trip on.
I dont usually do food videos.... How did we do this time! let me know below and let me know your favorite Japanese food!
Tokyo Lens it all looks so delicious. Gonna travel to Tokyo soon just to eat.
Tokyo Lens The food looks so good 😍, my favourite Japanese foods would have to be Sukiyaki or Ramen really warming and great to have when it’s cold.
Wow that was a lot of food, and the last one omg and he finished it.
I have only had Chinese food so I can only say sweet and sour chicken, and shredded pork fried rice. 👍👍
That was great. Okonomiyaki and takoyaki are really good.
good way to spend a last day, eat so much that you are sick on the flight home...
Now that's how you vacation! Is this the last video with Alexander? I hope he can visit again soon. It was fun to watch your adventures together. I was able to sneak some instant ichiran through customs. looking forward to eating that later.
one more vid to come!
Yay!
My favorite way to experience a new place, through its food!!
I'm going to miss the videos with Alexander. He's such a great contrast to Norm. :)
Gonna miss having him here
Just one more vid to go~
I am going to miss your videos with Alexander. They were so fun and light hearted. Have a safe trip home.
Love coming back to these older videos! Cant wait for next winter where I can have a day like this myself
I watch mostly food videos. The fact that yours was from Japan made it even better.
Your videos always make me miss Japan so much. So many places in the background that I recognize and miss, especially around Asakusa. Also, I remember seeing those giant onigiri in person and thinking that was 3 days worth of onigiri for me. Congrats to Alexander for doing it in one go.
even I was impressed with him lol
Yay another food channel. I really can’t get enough them. Please do more
Super fun! Best way to explore Tokyo 😝 and FOOD is what brings people together 🙌🏻
Great video, as always! This is such a good memory to keep and cherish, imagine watching this again (and all the others you made) in 20-25 years! Fully enjoyed the 'foodie tour'!
For someone that does not to food vlogs...this was most Excellent!

So glad I watched this WHILE eating! Street food looks so good in Japan!
Great vlog , my kind of day. Defo feeling that brother love.
I usually like to do other things when watching youtube, but yours is one of the few I stop and sit down to watch all the way through. I like your videography style.
I love that~ thank you so much
@@TokyoLens you've inspired me to pick up a Canon rebel and give photography a try myself. Your stuff is just so pretty too look at.
Great video as usual Norm!
adds to overwhelming list of restaurants I have to visit when I come back to Japan :) thanks for an awesome video!
My bucket list addition - have a food day in Tokyo ✔️
Ok your brother rocks! You know he means business when he takes a shopping bucket when he enters the store. He's awesome!
You guys literally lived out one of my dreams, which is to just dedicate a day to food exploration 😂. I’m gonna miss Alexander 😩 he was such a good contrast to you. Oh well glad you enjoyed your time together.
The food looks amazing. It really speaks to the quality of street food that the best things you had was the takoyaki and hot dogs!
Really entertaining video! I loved the random interjections of Alexander eating the onigiri xD. My favorite food would definitely be sushi, although I probably havn't had half the stuff you guys had in the video.
It was a great video (content and quality) and great editing!! I like how you included the last video of the day along the whole video!! *genius* ;)

My must have whenever I'm in Japan is coco curry, its just so good and like the ramen you had you can customise it to exactly what you want!
A well-loved favorite!
I saw mukbang and clicked on this so fast! great video and all the food looks delicious!!
One of the things I miss about Tokyo is the street food. I can't wait to get back.
You don't do food videos often, but it seems that when you do them, you do them really, really well. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks Norm!

Whoever got the Mitsuya, I am so jealous! It was one of my favourite drinks in Japan!

Wait omg I just noticed you recreated that image of the light hitting that girls face crossing the street in motion tooooo good!!!
What an awesome way to enjoy the last day in Japan, I love it shared it with my girlfriend because we both love food :D
You don't usually do food videos?
Well.. You definitely should!

Hope I get to meet you while wandering Asakusa.

I Love You Guys together...we will miss you Alexander!
One more Alexander vid to go!
I have eating at this Corndog-Shop last week!
It was good.
Gosh this made me so hungry 😂
I need to go eat a lot when I visit Tokyo next year
"I feel accomplished." That is a fantastic quote. I feel that it would work well on a Japanese t-shirt. Or a food or drink item from a convenience store. Not incorrect English, but play it correctly and magic could ensue.
You guys are both food gladiators. Fun video, but it made m e hungry. The gyoza looked great, but so did the hotdogs. Ramen always works too.
This has made me equally as hungry as I am happy. 👌🏻😊
It’s like a day I wish I could do without consequences! Lol everything looked delicious and it sounded like a great way for your brother to end his trip on.
Ramen is my fave Japanese food, and that last bowl looked absolutely delicious! Impressed that Alexander finished that gigantic onigiri lol
