My card ratings tierlist available to Patreon supporters has already been updated since the limited set review. Couple adjustments based on initial format data, not too many changes so was pleased with original ratings.
Lol so early in the format... hearing good things about Boarded Window were you? Just followed a link to your channel looking for some draft content to supplement my daily Nummy, but looks like that link was out of date...
Lately, because of the abundance of sets that goes out each few months I've been avoiding playing some of the sets that less excited me. Watching LVD play those sets really fill that gap for me and has been a ton of fun.
Same here. It was just too much. Noped out about a quarter of the way through Zendikar rising. Jumpstart was nice but then it was followed immediately by remastered sets and the next set was right around the corner as well. Glad that jumpstart has become a permanent fixture and that new sets tie into it.
Not a huge fan of the draft set. It feels grindy, clunky, and the bombs are insanely powerful and just end the game; like the rare demon that replicates itself.
I was hoping this set would be a little more gameplay and micro oriented like MID, but it just feels like "Oh they drew their bomb. Guess I lose." #justskaabthings
Crimson Vow feels like such a Prince set. It's all designed around synergizing well with Midnight Hunt while having less synergies within of itself. Kinda disappointing.
Can't believe you passed on Undying Malice with this deck multiple times. Imagine all these times your headless rider was getting killed, instead it comes back and you get a zombie and you get a counter. This is basically an extra card worth of value and a favorable mana trade
Sometimes yes. In this deck and set of course there are a lot of of creatures that "want" to be sacrificed due to triggered effects when they die, and their P/T is at best not much better than the tokens you get from Headless Horseman.

That 1st game, they just had the Uber nuts combined with a damn powerful set of cards with synergy and speed.

I opened the demon during prerelease at my LGS. I became that session's champion with it's help.
Honestly I feel like midnight hunt was a substantially better drafting experience but that might just be me. Still an awesome vid tho!

So the issue with adding more than 4 of the same card to draft decks has been resolved, apparently? (Based on the 5 throngs in match 4)

Nice for constructed, not great for drafting.
Maybe they will add the double feature draft to Arena as well? That might be fun.

I believe you have to hold the ALT key.
