I hadn’t heard this song until recently. This song really meets the moment now (June 12, 2020) with a pandemic, civil rights protests, and a deep recession (so far). This song reminds me that change is hard and takes time but we shouldn’t despair. Make the world a better place. Find a cause you believe in and put in the work to make it happen.

I just had a mastectomy for bresst cancer today. Last week I had an MRI and I listened to Bon Jovi to calm my nerves. This song inspires me to get involved in something to do with breast cancer awareness. I am at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. I am well taken care of and I am very grateful and blessed to be here. I am starting down the road to recovery from opioid addiction and this song is my song of recovery. Whenever I have been given really bad news like hearing that I'll never get out of this chair I listen to this song and keep fighting. Being in a chair is not the end hay I'm alive. Thank you Jon Bon Jovi for the wonderful music! We love you! It's been 3 years and I can honestly say that beat my addiction to opioids . I know I'll never be able to trust my legs again but I am trying to get myself better and listen to wonderful music helps me out.
