Amazing! I'm restoring a '77 XT500 now as well, so this was very enjoyable to watch. Love the sound track, very funny at times! May I ask what rims you used? They look like the reproduction gold rims from Kedo perhaps? My rims are dented and need replacement. Gold looks so good here.

Kolben erste Übergrösse, Zylinder schleifen und planen, ein neues Ventil, alle Lager und Dichtungen neu, grundieren und lackieren, ein paar Neuteile. Wir haben nicht auf eine einzige Rechnung geschaut um nicht die Lust zu verlieren... ;-) Das ganze Moped hat über den Daumen ca 3000€ verschlungen

I can’t understand reason of such expensive and hard work with that piece of steel. New parts, paint, a lot of work hours with 2 men, wheels... This Yamaha must be a great value to the owner to pay for this work. However the result is outstanding!
@@castelblancoaeverd7709 don't think so, if it was a rare bonneville or some other classic, maybe, but xt 500 is a popular soft enduro, in my mind it is not one of great classic bikes (IMHO)
standing in the workshop with a beer in one hand and an overhauld bike part in the other, having a chat with your best buddy is priceless! But I know, not everyone understand that....
@@landbauer52 if you don`t know a 500xt as one of the greatest classic bikes....then you don`t know much about bikes.....she`s more or less the comeback of one cylinder 4 stroke bikes,the founder of enduros....

Wir schleifen nicht, wir lassen strahlen und Kunststoffbeschichten.
Für´s auseinanderbauen gibts ja irgendwie keine Tips ausser einfach loslegen...

Gefilmt mit meiner alten Panasonic Digi.Videocam, der Zoom ist dann später im FinalCut entstanden.
