Well done. Pretty good technique for a non professional mechanic. I found myself holding my breath as you were tightening the cyl or the barrel, not a "jug "down. Jug is clearly a local term but a bit strange to Aussies. Goodonyou Chris. Keep up the good work
I use Permatex foaming action gasket remover on the really stuck parts. Soak it in and let it sit for a couple days and it scrapes off pretty good. It’s not magic but works over time.
@@jamesws3 not yet but.... I do try and just keep the Permatex on the gasket and not let it run all over. I wipe it off any painted surfaces to be safe. The stuff comes out fast and is under pressure. It took some getting used to how to apply it without it spraying everywhere.
