      I agree, Jeremy. She s so young but smart & mature beyond her age!(^^). Serena was her IDOL for all her life, so she's not about say anything negative about her. I think her parents have been doing a great job raising her being sensible & sensitive on tricky, messy situations. (^^)

      @@knobed138 That was so unnecessary things to say about Serena. In case you don't know, NAOMI loves Serena... respecting & idealizing her for so many years, NAOMI will hate to see YOUR comment....calling her "Chimp". That's so rude!! 1 other viewer joined you with the disgusting comment about Serena & again, NAOMI would feel sad seeing that. I'm sure she feels she can do without the fans like you guys.

      Hi Diana, On the upside for her though, she just got 10x more exposure than she would have by just winning. And managed to be the only one who came out looking good from every angle. At 20 years old in her career this will probably work out very well for her with a big boost in her profile, extra sponsorship, extra fans, extra appearance fees etc.

She also has watched Serena' career since she was a small child. So, the black father has taught his child about Serena's struggles as a black woman in a white man's game. Notice, how Everytime that tried to ask leading questions regarding Serena her facial expression changed? She really respects and Honors Serena. Very humble.....unlike Most Rap and Music artist in the industry that disrespect those whom paved their way.

The only thief was Serena stealing this beautiful moment from this beautiful young woman. Naomi didn't come out of nowhere - she destroyed Serena in Miami earlier this year and had her number. She was up 6-2 over Serena who then lost it. Turning it into a women's right issue is a vast stretch. Ramos has called put men players for far less - do a search on "Djokovic and Ramos" on YT.

    Naomi you handled this most unfortunate situation with a grace and humbleness.THIS WAS HER DREAM TO PLAY HER IDOL SERENA AT THE US OPEN FINAL. Sadly, Serena, the crowd and the disgraceful comment by Katrina Adams "Perhaps this was not the finish we were looking for today". utterly spoiled Naomi's moment. Can you imagine? Naomi just achieved her dream and she should have been celebrated, not booed. Even with all those insulting comments and bad behavior by Serena, the crowd and Katrina Adams, Naomi apologized for winning because she knew if she were in the stand she would've been rooting for Serena. I am glad to see so many Americans and non-Americans applauding for Naomi's grace. So THANK YOU! Can someone please tell me name(s) of Grand Slam champions from the past who won unexpectedly against the crowd's favorite player and ended up being treated this poorly and yet somehow managed to be so humble and still respectful towards the crowd and the sore loser? Serena is one of the players known to have bad temper on court. She used the F word towards one of the line's people at the US open 2009, and got fined for that. This umpire called her for verbal abuse because Serena kept berating him and wouldn't let go. No, Serena didn't use curse words but it was how Serena kept verbally abusing the umpire "You owe me an apology" " Say you are sorry" " You will never work on one of matches". I don't think I was only one who was cringing as Serena acted like a bully. When it was all said and done at the press conference, Serena had turned this into gender inequality issue. Serena, if you act even remotely like how classy Chris Evert was, situations like this would never happen in the first place. You are a legend and little kids look up to you so please practice self restrain a little.I'm Japanese and we were taught to be humble and gracious from childhood. Her mother clearly kept the tradition. Naomi even thanked the crowd for watching and thanked Serena for playing and took a bow. HOW SO JAPANESE OF HER!
    BTW: Naomi completely outplayed Serena, just saying.

      Couldn't agree more. What an awful example of why identity politics is just pure concentrated evil. Meanwhile, these two twits were the types of idiots in the crowd that were booing. What stupid questions to ask her. Osaka has had her well-deserved win turned into a mockery because Williams acted like a spoiled brat while a bunch of Orwellian white-guilt marxists couldn't handle reality. That day marks one of the saddest days in US Tennis.

      The Mainstream media is making sure we don't get a real choice at truth through you tube, facebook or twitter...This is the plan in effect: Swamp the alternatives with their outlets, or philosophical twins and cow the owners of youtube and etc. into compliance...You'll have to subscribe to get it elsewhere with ease; and then they know you and your viewer preferences.

      What does your last remark mean about if she was all black. Are you saying all blacks behave like Serena. I assure you there is bad behaviors among all races including yourself. Do not get me wrong. I do not agree with how Serena acted but your behavior is no better with your rude comment. Have great day.

    • @sharonpage8462
      @sharonpage8462 6 лет назад

      @Conservative Hamster All blacks do not behave that way. I have see many other races having bad behaviors in public and on television. So, you cannot say all blacks. How you act is not where you grew up, it is not if you are from a mixed race either, it is how your parents raised you. You know as well as I do that people in the limelight with influence act a fool in public because people will forget what they did wrong if they like them. U.S. society base people on popularity instead of looking at people based on their character and integrity. Peace be with you.

    Good girl. Too bad for the interviewers, she kept too cool for their expections.

    She's intelligent. Instead of jumping to attack and blame Serena, she just explains she misunderstood the boos. I'm glad she understands the crowd was booing the umpire and not the players.
