It’s amazing to how much they love the water and teaching the babies to swim they are not trying to drown them
She was teaching the baby to hold his breath under water and swim
You people do make me laugh. You live there, you video them on a daily basis, you study them on a daily basis, you know it's the most natural thing for them & they are great swimmers who can hold their breath for a long period of time. Question for you, then why do you make out it's the most unnatural thing with out the obvious answer, click baiting?

I realize the monkeys do what's natural to them including teaching their babies to swim but it seriously looks like a deliberate drowning is taking place. It's hard to watch the babies struggle to the top to breathe just before mom submerges them back underwater so quickly.

No it's not, u c mom keeps raising its tail up. She's looking an smelling it's but, to make sure it's clean don't have any more poop on it. And she will keep it in the water until clean. It probably had poop that was hard and by being in the water it sodten it.

Baby monkeys have to be taught to swim they don't know how to slim naturally can you learn from their parents I'd rather parents take him in the water and dive him under the water baby monkeys can hold their breath for 3 minutes that's all and then they have to come up for air

The babies can swim immediately after birth and can hold their breath for about 1.5 minutes. I don’t know the limit on adults, but it’s a long time. In some places they eat mussels off the river bottom and they’ll stay under for many minutes.
The babies have an emergency reflex too. If they do run out of air (and aren’t trapped) they automatically curl into a fetal position and float to the surface. I’ve only ever seen a few drown. It’s pretty amazing.

😂 😝 😝 I think every morning and evening they need to take all baby monkeys swimming for 2 or 3 hours let them get full on water let them drin all the water they want and more 😂 😝
I can’t watch them take the babies in. Scared me to see how long they keep them under.
After watching tons of water videos where a baby drowns in each one I've also noticed that the monkey doesn't just drown and video over, you can tell they have a few organized games they play, you can see they make up teams or sometimes it's just the king outside the water trying to tag (decapitate head) of fellow monkeys, therefore cheering for joy when say skippy rips a babys head off.
It would be nice to show it.
