I agree. She's not the kind of mom to be unnecessarily violent or enjoying smacking around her kid. She seems to really love Timo a lot. I bet he's eating more on a schedule now that he's older and is just trying to pacify himself at times. And she does let him suckle for a bit, usually, but then cuts him off when she finds that he's not really sucking for milk, just sucking to suck. Lol, does that make sense? 😂😂😂

Yes ...I never saw other baby monkey only one month & half..almost 2 month but still small baby swim alone..Normal baby monkey like him just few month never swim alone without their mother ..Normally the mother put their baby on their shoulder & swim..He's so brave ..like big monkey ..always play with other big boy monkey...some time he got bully ..some time he fight back like a big boy..

Tima did take him. Once. But you're right! Ever since then, he's taken the initiative to go allllll by himself. And I think that shows a lot about his personality. He's a mover and a shaker. He wakes up everyday thinking, "what kind of adventure can I get myself into today?" Lol!

I agree. Not only cute but something between the ears besides earwax. He shows that he is smart and can make decisions when needed. Good ones. Which is few and far between in these troops these days. I hope he survives to a ripe old age but it really is scary at times cuz of all the crazy things happening around them everyday. Fingers crossed for him.

Timo is unbelievable! Does anyone else remember a baby swimming before 2 months or even at 2 months and he taught himself by getting in that puddle and now he is swimming like a pro. Super baby for sure!
Also watching him the past few weeks learn things so quickly by watching, I think he is probably highly intelligent! We are probably looking at an Alpha that will hold his troop for more than a few months.
Males normally leave their birth troop, to join another and hopefully become alpha one day, when they're ready.
I think Timo is a good baby, his mom was not mean but had patience and since he had a hard time holding on to mom with her coat hanging on the side he kept falling it made him explore more on the ground on a very young age he wasn't clingnny.
The baby was a good swimmer. Mother came to pick him up, cause it was time they move.

It is very rare that a baby this young swim so well or at all. They usually only go into the water with their mom. Timo is so adventurous.

Timo is almost 3 months old not 2 months like people are saying. Time goes by really fast. He was born before polly died and she's been gone almost 2 months now. He's so good at everything he does swimming, climbing, ect.

That's not true. Didn't you ever see Lori as a baby? Omg. She was the dirtiest of dirty. Amari NEVER groomed Lori. Poor Lori. She was always sticky, or dirty, or just plain matted. I think Timo is one of the cleanest baby monkeys I've ever seen in this Troupe. If you wanna call a mom a pig, either call Amari (remember when Lori had her accident, when someone hit her int he head and she was basically dying and couldn't hold on to Amari anymore? Amari dropped her straight on the cement and went off to eat some pods!) or Popeye one. Popeye is probably the worst and has passed it on to her fatter than fat Sweet Pea. More like Sweat Pig. Lol. Tima does eat a lot, remember she's still producing milk and breast feeding, but I don't think she would eat while Timo was lying unconscious on the cement after being hit in the head like Amari did to Lori...
Amari was a shitty mom. THE shittiest mom IMO.
lady.sarah. bug Tima is a lazy, fat, no good mother who NEVER grooms her baby, the others groom him. PRODUCE me one single video of this PIG grooming him. Tima is the WORST mother I’ve seen as of yet. She doesn’t want to feed Timo unless it suits her regardless of the fact that he’s obviously HUNGRY. He never bothers her the way Sweet Pea And Polly hounded Popeye so there’s no compassion there whatsoever. Tima only eats, makes those irritating noises, eats her own frothy spit, attacks the babies and now Ashley, gets more than her fair share of grooming and sleeps. She teaches Timo NOTHING and shows him no love or tenderness. Now she’s starting to bite him when he rebuffs her attempts to withhold his milk, I’m glad he bites her back. Tima is a glutinous PIG and a BRUTE of a mother who treated Heather the same way. She was right there when Heather not even 2 months got crushed under the motorcycle instead of keeping her away from danger. She doesn’t deserve to have any more babies IMO

OMG Timo is soo BRAVE look at that little guy GO I mean his is what 2 FREAKING months old and is swimming by himself!!! WOW!! This is the most precious video in a WHILE!! I LOVE the way Tima plucks him out of the water!!! Tima didn't SAVE Timo she stopped him from having his fun!! but it was VERY CUTE!! Timo wants to have as much fun as possible and just won't let something like water let that stand in his way...he is going to learn how to swim by doing it....Tima has NOT gone swimming with him where he submerged his head fully ever so this just amazes me!!

I agree. She's an amazing mom. Even though I don't agree with her weaning him at such an early age (barely two months) but we also don't know how much milk he's getting behind the scenes. He could be eating normal meals and then just wanting to be pacified (literally!) I think Timo is THE FIRST baby in the history of the Amari Troupe to never get kidnapped! And that's amazing. Maybe Lori also never got napped, but only bc her mom is the alpha female. But Tima didn't care who tried it with her to take Timo. It didn't matter who it was. NO ONE was going to take her baby. And as low as she is on the monkey-troupe-scale, I really admire that aspect of her as a mother!
