They're like that because those little ultra adorable cutie pie pigtail babies don't bring about all the annoying drama and with that it gives mom the necessary time to teach & love up on them which I just LOVE
I do not think all of the pig tails are good with the babies. There is one monkey named Rozy she killed a baby she had like right after it was born. She was very mean to her then she went up a tree and literally push her off the tree. The little one died pretty much after it hit the ground she never went down to check the baby or anything. But they say the baby was a long tail monkey and she is a pig tail so if that happens mum will kill the baby

Well, it doesn't. In fact it makes it worse. Fleas and lice hate water, so if you watch when they come out of the water they sit sometimes for hours scratching, because the lice and fleas are working at double time biting their host.
