I have not had good luck with smith and Wesson performance center guns U tube is loaded with complaints. Don’t know if they follow process or fly by the seat of their pants but I do know the quality is not what it used to be nowhere near what it used to be don’t know if these guys are under pressure to put out a lot of product or just flat out don’t give a crap I guess if you’re treated like dirt you’re going to put out junk I hope this is not the case but Smith and Wesson needs to change.
Just watched a master smith put a 1911 back together after a detail strip. If you don’t check everything he did every time then shame on you. Always check hammer drop on a competitive guns and safeties go without saying.
Recently p/u a no lock Pro Series 442 & put about 100 rounds through it followed by another 200 a week later. This is the smoothest shooting J Frame I’ve owned and I’ve been carrying/shooting them for over 30 years (retired in ‘97).
They sure sold me a piece of crap lemon! My performance shield had every defect possible, fail to feed, fail to extract fired cases, striker failure 30% of the time, failure to work the slide. The "master craftsmen" at performance center put out crap.
I have a 637 PC, and Shield 2.0 PC. I've always thought that S&W was as good as ya get in handguns, then I tried the PC version. Just doesn't get any better than this🔫
@@fmgpubs I'd rather buy 1 ready to go as spend $600 on a gun then start buying sights & trigger. And I'd say S&W gunsmiths have forgotten more than I know😄
i SAID THIS BEFORE BUT IT BEARS REPEATING - SEGMENTING A GOOD VIDEO INTO SMALL FRAGMENTS IS A STUPID THING TO DO
Too Bad they can't fix their canted barrels on there 686's...............2018.

The PC shop was a great idea for sure. Their innovation has helped drive the production handguns. Roy
