The idea of taping the template to the ruler is genius. Thank you for that tip. I will be using that for sure. Live your videos. You are a great instructor.
I love this sunflower. I belong to a knit group. Every year we design a wall with different designs. Called yarn bombing. We can use any type of fiber in our designs. This year we are doing hot air balloons. I’m going to use this sunflower and make it into a hot air balloon. I can’t wait. Thank you for this beautiful inspiration
Ingenious, right from the creation of the paper template to the sewing & assembly. Great idea to cut off backing circle & how cute is a sunflower quilting design. Thanks Laura...💌
Thank you for the tips on making sunflower 🌻 block. Somewhere in all my stuff is my ruler & wish I could find it. TY Laura for your continuing inspiration!❤💜💛💙
I love the way you turned the points! I’ve never seen that before. Some ppl clip the end to reduce bulk, but I always worried they would poke through when turning, bc that weakens the point. This is by far the best way and I also liked how you finger creased, so you can center the seam later. Also the taping the template to the ruler! Great job! Excellent tips!
Love it …thanks for the inspiration and I’ll be making one ..and thank you for showing the FMQ, I won’t be able to get it as beautiful as yours as I’m still learning 🙄 but a wonderful opportunity to practice 🤣💐
I just love your videos! You made this project look so easy and I really like how it turned out. I think I will try one once I have my current quilt and my next quilt finished. Thank you SO much!!
