There is a clone in the kenobi show with the exact same weathering as the figure. Saw a comparison I think it was on Instagram so technically he did indeed appear in kenobi
From what I can tell, the biggest reason as to why the eyes look so much more prominent is just how subtle the eyelashes on him are. In fives and many of the past clones, that actually had some eyelashes. But there’s barely any on Appo for some reason. Kinda just make him look like he’s constantly staring wide eyed
This figure rocks! I had to get him first thing on October 1st. I think it is one of the best ones Hasbro has done this year.
I really hope we get a captain Vaughn In the black series on the 2023 clone body even though he didn’t have a lot of screen time in the show he was still a cool looking clone and hopefully hasbro decides to make him
Wow, that Jedi temple diorama looks very cool. Enjoy seeing these display ideas. On a side note, your lighting and background really shows off the details of the figures well and the close-up shots look great.
I originally didnt plan to get this figure but I’m so glad I did. The detail and now body mold are great. Makes me want to get the new shiny phase II clone as well

imagine every clone trooper head sculpt is different and it has the helmet on in the package so it’s a surprise
I'm loving this new clone body. I picked up 6 of them. I'm hoping hasbro gives us an updated Coruscant Guard figure on this body. They appeared in season 3 of Mando, so technically, it would be new media.
Here I am wanting just one of them, but it’s hard to get one for a good price in Canada.
He looks like a regular 501st Clone.

I’m really curious why they decided to call him commander appo. To my knowledge we didn’t even see a mention of him in the Kenobi series either. Did they just decide to slap a name on a regular clone?🤣

@@biggooch6631 I stand corrected. After digging into it Appo was the clone commander in charge of the 501st during the siege of the Jedi temple. He was also the clone that ordered bail organa to stay but got his leg cut by padawan Zett Jukassa (George Lucas’s son) and then the jukassa was shot down by none other than clone sergeant Fox

Why does appo's helmet have the arrow/triangle on the forehead?
Because the clone wars version has the arrow, based off of appa from avatar the last airbender. And the ROTS just has standard 501st armor
